@@vinyl_ritchieiii3603 The only class compliant Rane mixers before the inMusic era (2016-present) are the rotary MP2015 and the TTM57 MkII. The Sixty series and the SL2~4 boxes have propietary CoreAudio drivers¹ (this means they are not class compliant²). I bet there is no way at all to use a Sixty or SL box in a Mx Mac with any program (what is possible with the TTM57 MkII with any program apart from Serato 2.5.something and up). Perhaps the SL can be used with modern Windows (just luck), but the Sixty Two I had a report that nope with Windows 10 since some update (from a DJ that had to sell it finally). But I agree I see no technical reason to stop supporting the TTM57 MkII. It's a pitty! I like that mixer a lot. The MP2015 is still supported by both Serato and Rane³, so I understand there are financial interests involved about stopping its Serato support. But apart from that... Rane made a huge mistake making non-class compliant stuff (so Pioneer DJ did until the V10). Fortunately, it seems that's something that is already in the past. ¹In the Rane download page (legacy section) several drivers can be found for each device: www.rane.com/downloads-legacy#sixty-two scrolling down, SL2 and SL3 (SL4 is in the main download section). But all of them could be used with other programs, unlike the SL1 and TTM57SL (Scratch Live only, the _hardcore non-class compliant_ models 😂) ²Rane explained in the MP2015 and TTM57 MkII data sheets what USB audio class compliant means. In the TTM57 MkII one: _"Class-compliant audio and MIDI means no driver installation on a Mac, and a unified ASIO Rane driver is provided for Windows."_ cdn.inmusicbrands.com/rane/pdf/ttm57mk2_data.pdf (page 1) ³MP2015, yezzz; TTM57 MkII, nope: support.inmusicstore.com/en/support/solutions/articles/69000824936-rane-dj-macos-13-ventura-compatibility support.serato.com/hc/en-us/articles/5766525973647-macOS-13-Ventura-now-supported-with-Serato-DJ-Pro-Lite-3-0-and-higher-and-primary-hardware-compatibility
Thank you for taking the time to compare the hardware vs software play thru quality. It's nearly impossible to find similar comparisons with earlier units.
Props to Reloop, I'll try to support them from now on whenever I can!! When the fiasco with Rane happened I bought a DJM-S7, I'll prob get the Flux for the especial occasions where bringing my mixer is not practical. ❤
Reloop are massively under appreciated in the dj community imo. What I like about their equipment is it's got oldskool value. It's built to last, does a job and is competitively priced. As someone who's dj'd for a number of years it's the 1st brand I'd recommend to anyone looking to get into dj'ing.
I would agree with this. Admittedly, I'm now on my third pair of RP-8000s (first were just RP-8000, sold those, bought the RP-8000S straight arms, gave those away, now I have a pair of RP-8000MK2s and I have been begging them to make RP-8000MK2S with straight arms, and "flipped pitch" since they're already designed for "battle" orientation. DJ Q*Bert had Jesse Dean Designs customize a pair of RP-8000MK2s with straight arms and they look sweet!). Nonetheless, even when I was at ThudRumble and there were limited edition SL-1200GLDs for me to use, I felt *scared* touching them. I can't afford to replace those! Something about the Reloops and their more affordable price point lets my monkey mind chill out a bit and I can just focus on *playing* music instead of worrying about the gear.
This is great. There are still mixers around the UK, which we end up using that aren't serato club kit compatible, so this will be helpful especially for M1 mac users. Personally I would have preferred a slimmer/smaller/simpler 2 channel version like the Denon (i.e. Flux Mini) at a cheaper price, especially since this is something I would use more as a "backup" than a regular tool.
Finally! We need something to carry around, been carrying a mixer for years! Thanks @Reloop! Definitly getting one and those rane 57 people. Sure they happy also :)
Erm, yes...that's just sorted it for me, thanks Mojaxx, feel you've saved us serato control vinyl djs...been playing vinyl non stop for over a year, so will be nice to support both digital and vinyl with my ecler nuo 4.0 analogue mixer...plus look out my neo dvs rcas and copper serato vinyl from the shelves ❤
My very first Serato box was the Scratch Live box, later known as the SL1. I used to use it all the time for gigs and on radio; fiddly at times, but mostly worked. This Flux is definitely going on my list of gear to buy. I have a controller, I have four Tech 1200s, I have a mixer with Serato built-in, but I can sure see myself using the Flux in a streamlined setup environment. Glad to know it's out there. Thanks for the review, and for your contribution, even if maybe a little, to have such a product available.
Old School DJ here... I guess I've been living under a rock and I thought that getting my new macbook pro with the latest mac OS and Serato DJ Pro version will be compatible with my SL3 but to my surprise it is not supported at all. I was going through any DVS options and very surprised that Reloop Flux is the only one in the market now (for at least the amount of research I put in). Of course knowing about this I had to look up reviews online and yours came up which was perfect. The way how you described how happy you are that an audio interface has been built and was done so proper gave the reassurance that I can still rock my old setup with my TTM57 and my 1200's. Thanks for the excellent review from one DJ to another.
I'm glad they have brought this type of interface back, and better than before! but it feels a bit annoying when i already have a SL3 that just doesn't work anymore...
Yup, there is absolutely NOTHING keeping the SL3 from working other than greed!! I HATE Serato & Rane for doing that!! I will NEVER buy another product from either company! But, Reloop knocked it out of the park with this one. They did a great job!
@@risquedj I can understand discontinued support for the SL1, but why the SL2, SL3, and SL4? Pioneer updates drivers on a lot of their older hardware. Why can’t Rane do the same?
@@risquedj In Rane's defense, they made the SL3 (and SL4, and MP2015) when they were still Rane, before inMusic bought them and gutted them, and turn them into just a brand name badging to slap on things.
@@risquedjI'm not sure it's down to serato. I think it's Rane that are responsible for testing their hardware and developing driver updates so it works with the newer versions of serato?
Because the OG rane was bought by InMyshit or what.... and the new owner needs fast capital return so everything was produced before the aquisition is red labeld and only the new stuff gets any support... but this rane is not the old rane... its full of numark parts and so...
🎉 Wow, that opens some options for me. I love my Urei 1620. I can use it in my personal home setup. Definitely will pick one up just for home use. And the price isn't so bad for all you can do with this. Excellent!!!
This is great! I use Djay Pro AI on an iPad in combination with Phase now. The whole usb-c power delivery thing, combined with a hub is great. This should be standard on dj gear going forward!
Finally, this is exactly what Ive been waiting for. I have a Condesa mixer, and have been wanting to use Dj algoriddim to play digtal tracks. My dream would be that this will work with Phase controllers. Then I can keep my techincs conected analouge to my mixer.
Fantastic! My only gripe is that it did not come out a year ago. I bought the totally useless Rekordbox interface 2 for DVS. It's so bad I'm worried to put it on eBay! Will definitely be getting the Reloop.
What's so bad about Rekordbox interface 2? I was thinking to go for it before this Reloop release. I'd like to know what issues did you find using Rekordbox.
That's so dope that Reloop listened to the community! With the discontinuation of the Sl boxes and the Denon box this will be great to have in the backpack just incase you can't hook up to the mixer in the club and or play on legacy mixers!
Yes, I'm happy too, just to have the option. Club owners won't please manufacturers and throw all their non-Serato mixers (or non-class compliant ones not supported anymore) to buy the new ones as fast as the manufacturers would like. Thanks, Reloop! ✌
I am gonna be getting this asap! Been holding off updating to the recent serato builds due to being on an SL3 box. This will be a game changer across the board

UPDATE got one in the mail the other day because of this review and I had problems with the Rekordbox interface 2 I bought second hand in Canada from Long & McQuade and the Reloop Flux is everything Mojaxx says it is. Very happy with build and sound quality. Fantastic purchase!!!
This is the most incredible solution to my dilemma. I have an older Allen & Heath Xone DX 4 channel controller that came with, and only works with, Serato Itch software. Updates for Itch stopped in 2011. I also have a 2023 MacBook Pro that no longer supports Itch Software so I’ve been stuck having to use an older Mac with old itch software if I want to use the DX. Now with Reloop, I can have the best of both worlds. The Xone DX is still an excellent alternate Controller. I’ll be getting a ReLoop Flux for sure!!🎉🙏🙌🏼🎶🇨🇦
So good to see this. But... yes, we absolutely need a four channel version. Having vinyl and CDJs attached at the same time is essential. I agree with everything you have reviewed on this model, but the SL4 was the industry standard. 4 channel and 2 USBs for two computers. I work for a radio station where our DJs have had to keep an old version of Serato on a held back OS laptop so they can do their shows on an SL4 box, as there is no other option. I was so happy, when I saw this, but sad it hasn't gone far enough. Mojaxx use your magic again please.
Recently got my 1210s serviced after they've been packed away for years. This Reloop Flux might be the option I go for I reckon. I use Traktor so was well glad when you mentioned that it worked with other software. I might give Serato a try at some point, but I think this box will be ideal for me to get my 1210s, one 92, X1 mk2 up and running again... I'm well glad that someone had the sense to bring out a simple external interface as I've been worrying about how to play random gigs without a controller like the kids be doing these days...
We need more companies like this listening to the djs! Salute to reloop

But all of them could be used with other programs, unlike the SL1 and TTM57SL (Scratch Live only, the _hardcore non-class compliant_ models 😂)
²Rane explained in the MP2015 and TTM57 MkII data sheets what USB audio class compliant means. In the TTM57 MkII one: _"Class-compliant audio and MIDI means no driver installation on a Mac, and a unified ASIO Rane driver is provided for Windows."_ cdn.inmusicbrands.com/rane/pdf/ttm57mk2_data.pdf (page 1)

@@vinyl_ritchieiii3603 easy tiger it cost a lot of money for companies to be making drivers for old equipment.
It made me happy they made this, big win!
Thank you for taking the time to compare the hardware vs software play thru quality. It's nearly impossible to find similar comparisons with earlier units.
Yes! Thanks Reloop. Thanks Mojaxx. Will use this with iPad, Traktor, rotary mixer and any other weird and wonderful combination I might come up with.
Wow! Great news! and you've surel played a part, thanks Mojaxx!
The USB hub for CDJ HID mode is clutch. Great work here, Reloop!
Will the rain 64 work with that properly At the moment it's not working at all
Thank you for the kind words.
Yessssssssssss❤
This is so good. I'm a huge fan of the Reloop gear, and your review will have this selling like hot cakes.
Finally! We need something to carry around, been carrying a mixer for years! Thanks @Reloop! Definitly getting one and those rane 57 people. Sure they happy also :)
Never thought I'd be so excited by a black rectangular box!
Awesome! I was very upset when Rane discontinued my permanently used SL3! Great that there is now a new alternative.
SERATO BOXES FOREVER!!!!!!
This is huge. If my Denon ds1 ever gives out I'll be picking up one of these
🎉 Wow, that opens some options for me. I love my Urei 1620. I can use it in my personal home setup. Definitely will pick one up just for home use. And the price isn't so bad for all you can do with this. Excellent!!!
actually the first video in a long time that got a thumbs up :D ... I love it!
Incredible, I was still relying on my SL2, but now I'll have to buy this!
Thank you Mojaxx for yet another excellent review. And thank you Reloop for listening to DJ's and filling the gap!
This is good, No great. I don’t need a new mixer just this. Good work RELOOP.
This is great! I use Djay Pro AI on an iPad in combination with Phase now. The whole usb-c power delivery thing, combined with a hub is great. This should be standard on dj gear going forward!
best review in town! congrats hermano! and congrats to ALL Reloop team, thanks for listen to the DJs.
Thank you
Finally, this is exactly what Ive been waiting for. I have a Condesa mixer, and have been wanting to use Dj algoriddim to play digtal tracks. My dream would be that this will work with Phase controllers. Then I can keep my techincs conected analouge to my mixer.
I was honestly considering tossing my TTM56 since one of the PH inputs is shot, but this solves that issue since I have two working Line inputs. Nice!
I also think if you didnt brought attention to it, this might never came out. Good job mojaxx
Sweet! I want to continue using my vestax pmc 05. Cheers
That's so dope that Reloop listened to the community! With the discontinuation of the Sl boxes and the Denon box this will be great to have in the backpack just incase you can't hook up to the mixer in the club and or play on legacy mixers!
definitely getting gone. got an old 707 that I love and you;d love to use again (even though I have the S11. so, so happy .thanks Reloop
Finally. Buying one today.
oooooooor I'm preordering today :D
Mojaxx....I know this brings music to your ears....and predicted right on the money of Reloop bringing Serato audio interface box back. Kudos !
I was so pissed when my rane sl3 box was made obsolete. Very very happy to see this new product. Thank you reloop!
Finally! 🙏🏼
SL4 box for sale, DM me lol 😂. I've not updated my MAC OS or Serato version as have to use my SL4 as back option a few times when plugging in direct to mixers has not worked properly. Bravo to Reloop 👏👏
Well done, reloop🤓
Excellent! Now I have a replacement for my SL3. Salute Reloop!
finally i can use my djm2000 with serato pro and I dont need to switch back to an djm900nxs. TANK YOU RELOOP!!!!
Thank you Mojaxx - although still fairly expensive this is probably the best back up any Serato DJ can buy! Well done and thank you for making the case
Such a much needed bit of kit , gutted & annoyed when the sl3 wasn’t supported .. this is a game changer !!
I know where to come when my DS1 stops being supported - well done reloop for beating Mixars to the punch- had to be one of you guys…
I just ordered the Reloop Flux. Thank you for the info, Mister Jaxx. I can't wait to set it up with my Mater sound Raduis 4V and play some trax through Serato!!!!!!
Thank you Reloop! Take my money!!
Instant buy for me. My unit arrived today. This thing is built like a tank! Feels very solid from the materials used and has a weight to it that makes it feel like a serious piece of kit. Love that the packaging was also from recycled material and zero plastic shrink wrap! Well done Reloop! Now just have to wait for April 26th for Serato to release the next update that enables support!
?. Where do you live? It’s only on pre order at the moment
@@bradleypearce6615 I live in the US.
Mine should be here soon I hope
You won't see that until the beginning of June....minimum
YAAAAAAAY!
I may cop one of these. Trying to work out if I can also buy a second Phase set to use with 3 Technics 1210s on my Xone 92
Absolutely bloody brilliant.
Well done Reloop - another great product from them.
And massive props to Mojaxx the GOAT, for calling out the need for this.
THX mojaxx!!!! Super excited! Now I can purchase and use my rotary mixer with “Stem Feature”
I was so looking forward to this video review after what you said back in 2021
I've had a lot of trouble with my Interface 2 on my 2019 iMac and i really want to take it back and get the flux. UPDATE got one in the mail the other day because of this review and I had problems with the Rekordbox interface 2 I bought second hand in Canada from Long & McQuade and the Reloop Flux is everything Mojaxx says it is. Very happy with build and sound quality. Fantastic purchase!!!
YES! Now I can use my rotary mixer and vestal with serato! Buying one ASAP!
🎉❤ wooohooo now I can buy any mixer it doesn’t have to be one those with built sound cards.🎉❤
So dope! I thought it was insane the market let this gap exist for so long.
Thank you Reloop! Thank you Mojaxx
Yesssssssss .. this is definitely something to get. I love the Deejay app integration. Wow . Game changer
Now I can move beyond Catalina OS! I’m a traveling DJ who doesn’t always play “artist rider”-type venues and I don’t enjoy playing on controllers.
Wow really love this video and the flux. Using a SL4 for a long time and could not upgrade to newer versions of serato. Now we can!!!!
Hell yeah, i’m going to buy this ❤
Thanks! I getting this!
Brilliant news...This box will work great with the ecler warm2.... the perfect partnership!!
Finally I can use the model 1 with serato
I can now enter rotary heaven!
Flux will fit perfect with my reloop SPIN, let's dvs now lol great content bro, great channel 💎🔥
Nice one. Enjoy, Serato crew and well done, Reloop!
