There’s something so charmingly retro about using your laundry Soap Flakes. The flakes give me that vintage feel and results, like I’m doing laundry the way it was meant to be done, but with a contemporary mindset. No harsh chemicals that damage my skin or fabrics - just pure old fashioned clean.
Patric taught me the huge benefit of washing in warm water using soap on a short cycle. I'm also hooked on Patric's deep knowledge of stain removal and cleaning house/everything-not to mention his knack for chemistry. Congrats on your well-deserved 10,000 followers milestone!
Congrats on 10,000 subscribers. Thank you for sharing all your ideas and tricks. My favorite laundry trick not using as much detergent/soap when doing laundry makes clothing last longer and you get less lint in your lint screen in the dryer!
Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers! You definitely deserve all the accolades. And you’ve certainly taught me to really enjoy laundry. I quote you in my Facebook groups all the time and send people your way. My favorite laundry tips…because there’s just not one. Would be how to wash “dry clean only“ Thrifted wool coats, & how to use vodka to get odors out of clothes. Thank you for all you do!
Thank you Patric for resolving the lifetime of mystery & confusion that I've experienced regarding laundry, especially when it comes to vintage garments & textiles. People weren't going to the dry cleaners in the 1930's, '40's, etc. & I often wondered exactly how my beaded boucle wool cardigan survived all those years - No one could tell me. I love your practical, proven hands-on Mom, Grandma & Aunt based methods backed by science that make a whole lot of sense & eliminate the dependency on toxic chemical concoctions that often fail to deliver. Thank you for spreading the laundry love!
Panic is my favorite laundry tip! He totally changed the way that I do laundry, and I love how quickly it goes and how clean my laundry is! He is awesome!!!
I have been a fan of yours for a few years! You have changed how I feel about doing laundry! I have pages of hand written notes that I jot down while listening to your RUclips videos and from the laundry classes I have taken. One of my favorite tips is the aluminum foil ball in the dryer, oh... I also love laundry flakes!!! It is funny, my friends and family come to me with laundry questions! Thanks for being a great teacher!
Congratulations!! I’ve changed all of my laundry habits, and house cleaning habits, because of Patric. I’ve bought the books for friends and family and have done quite a bit of evangelizing myself! Plus my family is crazy for Wilma’s potato salad, I’ve been making it nonstop since I first tried it. Congratulations for the success but also for being a delightful person willing to showcase his life and family. Bravo.
Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers! Thank you for all that you've done and continue to do. Like your grandmother did for you, my mother taught me well, then you oomphed it to perfection! My mother still took some things to the dry cleaners, I can't remember the last time I took anything to one! (Pssst, I just ran out of laundry flakes washing a pair of "dry clean only" silk pants, and as a younger 60s hippie who then danced her way through the disco era, I have always wanted a disco ball, and what better room to hang it in than the laundry room)! Fun!
From the time our girls could crawl, we included them in laundry day. We swung them in the sheets like a hammock When they were old enough they took their newly folded clothes to their drawers. Years Later they did their own folding. By fifth grade they also sorted and did the wash. We all sat around and folded together, chatting and laughing! It was one of our family times.
I loved your Laundry Love book. I now use all the laundry products that you recommended: soap flakes, oxygen bleach, washing soda, oily soaps, horse hair brush and I can get out any type of stains. It was a true game changer. I bought small little spray bottles and screw cap containers, filled them with vinegar, vodka, alcohol, soap flakes and oxygen bleach, etc. These fit in a little zippered case that I take with me when I travel. No more stained clothes when I come back home from my trips!
Hi Patric! I've read your books and bought Laundry Love and keep it in my bathroom/laundry room. All your tips are helpful! I bought most of the things you recommend and stopped using dryer sheets. The aluminum foil for the dryer is one of my favorites. I love to watch you on the Jason Show. Congratulations on over 10,000 viewers!
Stain after stain advice you have changed my life! White vinegar, warm water, speed wash cycle etc.. Now I know & I am telling everyone I know about Patric! Thanks for your patience with us as we learn what you know about laundry & the home. Your two books are amazing also. 😊
Hi Patric. I read a magazine article about you and found it fascinating. Who though laundry could be fascinating? I also bought your book. Now I have to get my wife to stop using fabric softener! (bone of contention in our house). My favorite product is the oxygen bleach. It's the number one item for removing stains in my book and I used it on some rags after staining a wooden deck. You wouldn't (well, YOU would) believe what a difference it made!
10k! Hooray! 🎉 Congratulations Patric! My favorite products, because there are more than one, is your oxygen bleach and your large dusting brush which is great for air vents and fans. 💯🙌
❤ Congratulations Patric!🎉 I've always loved doing laundry but more more so after meeting you on RUclips. 💛 My favorite laundry tip from you was learning about per carbonate. What a game changer! 🌹
Dear Patric, I have used your 1st book for my toughest laundry nightmares. One was getting coffee out of a white shirt! Totally cleaned! Then I got yellow highlighter out of my son’s shirt that he thought was ruined. Thank you for all of your wisdom. Getting a stain out is now a quest instead of just a pain. Thank you for helping me to enjoy doing my laundry more. And my dear friend Barb gifted me your 2nd book!!
If anybody deserves 10,000 or more subscribers, it is The Laundry Evangelist! Since I have been using Patric's soap flakes, my towels and sheets have never been so soft. My favorite tip? Vodka spray for odors. Go, Patric!
My favorite laundry tip is a small amount of powder detergent only (which goes a long way)! As well as hang drying everything! This has helped my clothes look better and it's more eco-friendly!
Thanks for changing my laundry life! I feel like a better homemaker, and better equipped to take care of my family. I recently used your method to remove ring around the collar from one of my husband's dress shirts and I think he was truly impressed! LOL. Love my soap flakes and oxygen bleach. Amodex is a revelation! I've shared my new found knowledge with my Mom too! I keep your Laundry Love book in my Laundry Closet for quick reference. Keep those videos and books coming!
Patric, you are AWESOME! I own both your books & am (obviously) a big fan, though faaaar from MN (live in Ft Myers, FL). Thank you thank you thank you for the Healthy laundry products. I have very sensitive skin & all your products are Wonderful with NO skin reactions. I had bought the name brand "fragrance free" options & still had terrible skin issues. After reading "Laundry Love" & learning A LOT, no surprise there. Love ya! xx
You deserve to be at 100,000 subscribers your advice is so helpful! My favorite laundry tip of ALL TIME is the secret to getting weird, old, musty smells out of clothes by spraying them with vodka! Every week I seem to be spraying something with vodka to get out the smell. It worked like a charm on a jacket that I wore to a bonfire and could not get the smoke smell out. Thank you Patric for your wonderful advice given to all of us with your Southern charm! Here's to 10,000 more viewers x 10!!!
Hi Patric! My favorite laundry tip is washing everything on the express cycle. My favorite product is oxygen bleach. Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers!
Congratulations on your 10,000 subscribers. And I agree with you, every laundry room should have a disco ball. One of my favorite tips from you is using vodka to get the smell out of clothes. My husband’s work boots smell so much better now. And I am so loving The Frasier Fir laundry detergent. My sheets and blankets smell like going on a trip up north.
Your book is amazing and I love watching your videos. I already loved taking care of my clothes, but your tips inspire me to take it to the next level! Laundry education, so exiciting... who knew!? Thank you!
WOOOT WOOOT!!!!! how exciting but not unexpected! I found you just after our house fire - you gave me hope with some things we were able to rescue. Plus you reached out to me personally which made my heart happy. Thank you for showing us the way back way to clean our beloved items without harsh chemicals. You Rock and Roll!!!!
Congrats on 10K! I feel like part of and exclusive club, but you should be at 1,000,000 as far as I am concerned. Your first tip I tried was limiting the amount of laundry detergent I used. Second, was foil in the dryer. Then oxygen bleach, vinegar, and dryer balls followed. House Love is a wonderful tome on everything home. Laundry Love is next .
I love both of your books. Have the ebook and audiobook versions of both. While all of your tips are great, I very much appreciate the laundry sorting method as it is such a time saver and money saver at the laundromat.
Congrats on the new milestone of 10,000 subscribers! I first heard about you on an interview with the Art of Manliness podcast and your tips helped us doing our own laundry at home! Thanks for all the information you provide to the public! Cheers 😀
Because of you & your great stain knowledge, I've been able to get stains out of my clumsy husband's clothes. Most importantly, I've taught him you tricks of stain removal, and he now treats his own clothes. Win win! Thank you!🎉

Recently I revived a cotton sweater I have had for sooooooo many years and always sent to the dry cleaner. But, I tried your hand washing method (with your soap flakes, soap brush, and oxi bleach), and rolled it out in a towel, then laid it flat. Took days to dry (it is very thick), but it is perfect- soft, CLEAN, and fits like it should. Three cheers to you! And me! 😊
I have been to laundry camp twice and have been using your laundry techniques for 10 years- my friends drop off their stains for me to clean and it's all thanks to you!!!!!!

I never knew laundry could be such fun! Your soap flakes take me far back into my childhood when the soap flakes my mom used were just like yours, fluffy flakes of soap❤
