This made me sad happy but love it i remember sniffer Clark diving header I nearly died of exhaustion playing football with my friend Jimmy Riley arsenal fan we fell out over it for a week non stop after, only man u Liverpool celtic maybe.rangers had bigger support in the whole of Ireland but.we made more noise and had more go in us and I don't think that's changed really Dublin is full of leeds arsenal and Everton have big support to, but leeds fans together going to school no one dare throw are bags out the top window of the bus,, love and god bless from Ireland marching on together
What beautiful free flowing memories of innocent days when we The White Peacocks won the 100th FA CUP Final in old LondonTown against the mighty Arsenal. "Clarke One Nil" is one of my everlasting memories sitting next to my mum on our old Sony Colour Goggle Box that fateful history making May Day back in 1972. Those were the days my friends for that innocents has long departed mother earth. But they cant take it away from us !!! Mark Always & Forever The White Peacock ♥️
Happy but distant memories. I can't believe a club the size of ours hasn't been to an FA cup final in over 40 years! When I was a kid growing up, we were there all the time. We were so good!!
Well said mate l totally 100% agree with you my old Peacocks mate. What with all the modern hype of Bielsa Bielsa this Leeds Team could not lace the blasted boots of the 70s Side so lets tell it as it is & get that right - for all what this young lot may think or say. Try near 50yrs FA Cup Final. To me its a sad reflection on what isnt the truth. For Dear Don Revie put us in the frame nearly everytime. Losing in the 4th Round dont cut it with me nor should it man. It pains me to think on your brilliant point. ✔m.a.
@@MarkAnthony-pq9nx Agree on all points it all started for me in 1970 Allan Clarke and whole white kit did it for me even tho I'm not from Leeds I'm still a season ticket holder at Elland Road.
That was lovely. I was there aged 15 but obviously i didn't manage to see myself on camera. Lovely day out though ending our long wait for the ultimate domestic cup of them all.

The future of Yorkshire
Why did people dress like they had just walked out of a jumble sale back in the early 70s?
Now they look like they've just walked out of Greggs after a visit to a tattoo shop .🍔🍟
