I think by far, this is the best review channel for slowpitch bats anywhere online. Consistant and thorough. Ive bought many bats for myself based of your reviews and i can honestly say that you havent let me down yet. Keep up the great work fam.
Hope you knee gets better soon big guy. Now my only problem is you got me into the Easton fireflex 240 one piece which I'm loving, now i want one of these. My question is how do you think it compares to the fireflex 240? Is it worth looking at getting one or is the ff240 close enough to this to stick with if it's working for me?
Most durable slugger I’ve swung. It seems to be a trend with their 1 piece models. The 2 pieces seem to seam (hah words) a lot. Maybe this would be a slugger you can swing in the cold?
Hey Josh, quick question I was hoping you could provide some insight. I just picked up the fireflex 240 one piece and am really liking it. How does this compare performance wise? Is there enough to justify buying a new bat which is also at a higher price point? Thanks
Sluggers are summer weather kings. So, this time of year (it’s October for anyone in the future - ps hi future!), the one piece Easton fireflex would be best. In fact, my top velo this year is with the 1piece fireflex we reviewed (111 mph - I’ve only touched 109 mph with the genny this year but it was 90F outside). Temp for the 11 with the Easton was in the 70’s. However, if the temps were higher, you’re not going to beat a slugger with any bat out there that’s passing compression in terms of exit velo.
@@MarraSoftballok thanks Josh. Since we're wrapping up fall ball in Canada this might be a next season decision. There's also the proton one piece that I'm interested in as well.
I am not the biggest fan of this bat. I have about 250 swings on it, so it could still need more break in but I am not as happy as I hoped i would be with it. Could be I just cant hit anymore. Age has a way of letting us know when we suck.

Easton 2022 fireflex 1 piece or this bat?

If you only had the option of just swinging one bat, which one would you pick…. The new Everett Williams, iron man 2.0, or this new one piece?
Depends on what kind of hitter you are. I’d pick Everette out of those options because I want a heavier barrel and a 2 piece.
