Already have this bond with all 3 of my fur babies. Right now I'm on the couch with one on my lap and one on the foot rest both are asleep. At night they sleep in the bed with me. I am so very fortunate to have this bond with my three cats
My experience is Unconditional Love. Love him regardless and do not expect. Doing this is increasing our bond in our relationship . ( I have a stray Tom .. so I let him out since he came from outside. Much trust and acceptance is needed as he has roamed for months, weeks and now just days . If you love someone let it go if it comes back .... (you know the rest)

One of my cats loves belly rubs. He's very relaxed and lets me rub his belly any time as long as I want without getting upset.
