I have heard many stories from my grandparents on my mommas side. I wish there was video back then! So if you get the opportunity take the time. My fathers parents were young when they died, I was only 5 n 12.
Yes, by all means do a video of your grandparents getting them to share special things about their lives. Do it soon as we are not promised tomorrow! It will be an awesome way to feel like you still have a piece of them with you when they are gone. I did about a 90 minute interview via a tape cassette (videos were not available yet) over 30 years ago with my precious grandmother about 1 1/2 years before she passed. She was the most wonderful, kind and gentle women to ever walk the earth! Getting to listen to her tell her life story when ever I want to listen to her sweet voice is one of the most valuable treasures I own!

We had a house built in 1965, we moved there in 1987 and it had a septic field that all the pipes were clay and we were young and didn’t understand septic. There was a tree too close to the house that was causing damage to the shake roof so we paid to have guys come in and cut it down. They didn’t ask and we didn’t know so it was dropped in 8 foot chunks over the septic field completely crushing it. Nightmare. We did not have the ability to put in a new septic tank with the upgrades that it needed to be at code. I was trying to get my 18-year-old through to graduation. So for six months the whole family showered at the rec center and only used upstairs toilets and I dug trenches out to the very back of the yard so it wouldn’t leak down into the neighbors yard! We made it through though and sold the house and moved on. We learned a lot. You two have wonderful dreams and are making them happen, good for you both💞
I love how you educate us while you are entertaining us. This is so exciting and I can't believe how quickly things are happening. Sometimes I get stressed out when you run into problems but I'm taking Allie's advice to roll with the punches. I wish you all the very best and I am so grateful for your wonderful videos. Your positivity and high vibes are much needed these days. Thank you!
I just love and admire that you guys share your sleepy morning faces with us! Even Frank's lol! I love watching your videos. You are both so wonderful and funny with each other. Your videos are great! Thank you.
I absolutely love your grandparents! My grandma was just like your grandma a sweetheart, full of life and a great sense of humor. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 100. My grandpa passed away in 2007 at the age of 103 and he mowed their lawn until he was 100 years old. No one was allowed to work out on his property unless they wanted to work alongside him. (5 acres) He always said if he didn't have a reason to go outside and do something he would be bored. When he turned 75 all the kids (17) pitched in and bought him a riding lawn mower with all the attachments. He stopped driving when he turned 90 but every couple of days he hopped on his lawnmower, drove a mile into town, and bought fresh pan (Mexican sweet bread) at a local bakery. Cherish every moment you have with your grandparents and parents, time goes by so fast. Sorry for rattling on but seeing your grandparents just brought a smile to my face and flooded me with beautiful memories. Take care and stay healthy!
I just acquired the final piece of a care package I'll be shipping to you shortly. I was worried it wasn't going to come together in time for you to hit 300k subscribers, but like your septic tank and Terry, everything seems to be falling into place! As a relatively new subscriber (and patron!) I'm proud to support this channel. You guys brighten my day with every new video, and while things don't always go to plan, you make the best of it; an approach to living life we could all aspire to. I wish you the very best success!
Ohhh.....I am so happy for you to spend time with Trent's Grandparents......they are delighted. We are Grandparents of three teenagers. We live one mile away. Today, my husband helped our Granddaughter with getting better tires on her car. All interactions with Grandchildren are so important. And Trent where did you learn so much about everything. Sometimes I ask my Husband that same question. He was raised on a ranch.....they had a big shop which was needed to fix farm equipment etc. He and his younger Brother, in their spare time, built a Model T to race around in the desert. Fond memories. You are blessed to be near Trent's Mom and Grandparents. Hope you will be able to film the goats babies birth. Love seeing the animals growth, plants grow,....lots to video......You are blessed. 😇
Trent you are an absolutely lucky lucky man because you have a woman that literally laughed and loves your companyand your grandparents and your mother are always smiling and laughing and I love on how they incredibly adore Allie
I don't know but, that tiny house doesn't seem so tiny...at least the project isn't a tiny one. So excited for you. Can't wait to see what it's going to look like! Btw, you clearly have one of the best channels on RUclips!
its good to see you smiling 😃 guys its just the beginning good luck 👍 a lot of confidence in you guys love your video's. love your Grandparent's they are cute. God Bless them......
It is small for the neighborhood , ya all should see the size of these homes in there neighborhood most of the homes in there area are summer homes .that people have for there vacation homes. They have community water and electricity . And a security entrance. Nice mountain resort area.. It is no where near being off grid. It's just beautiful in the hills .
Mango891 ... I agree on the channel being great. I like that there is no cursing or have nude bodies. I love the kindness they show yo others, their hard work . And this is so much better than reality TV!
Trent, your grandmother loves Allie so much. I remember watching the video of your wedding, you picked up your grandparents and Grandma Terry kept asking where Allie was. It made me smile. You're a lucky guy Trent, to have such a supportive wife and and wonderful grandparents!
Your grandparents are awesome! It makes my day when I see you have a new video and its a bonus with your grandparents! Brightens up the dismal time we are in. See you next time.
Ohhhhhh, those grandparents!!! They are soooo adorable. You are so very blessed to still have them around! We can tell whom grandma loves the best...Allie! She's free! Trent has to pay up. lol

Trent and Allie I love watching your RUclips videos. I have just recently found your channel and have bing watched you and The Nomatic Movement during this pandemic. You have inspired this 54 year old woman to do van life when I retire in 12 years and go visit the world. Keep up the great inspiration.
Gotta love Granny and Grandpa!! I miss my Grandparents for sure. It's good to see that you love and honor them.... It brings them joy in their latter days on this earth...
OMG, *GrandMa Terry* said "$2.00 for the shower". She is hilarious. *Grandpa* in his 90's cutting grass. I now have zero excuses to sweep my front porch at 94 degrees in GA. I adore your Gand Parents.
And after all this to think about your friend that called you for help to fix his van just if they knew what you guys are going through omg and you still had the time to explain all about the electric power and the connections you rock love watching your channel can't wait for the next vlog
Remember Terry's black and gray tanks if hooked up directly to sectic tank is not the way to go. You will end up with a black tank problems. So fill tanks dump black then gray.
Forest Fires - Early this year only one house in Calif was fire proofed & stayed standing in BIG fire. Watch news video if can find it. The guy Installed irrigation system around perimeter of property. Irrigated all the brush around his house. System was powered off-grid. When needed water pumped out of swimming pool into surroundings property pipes and sprinkling heads. Idea was simple & really cleaver. He may help you get ideas rather than become nature’s prey to forest fires around where you are. A worry you don’t need.
The way you create your videos I feel like I'm right there with you. I adore your grandparents. I love your enthusiasm in everything you do and describe. Its contagious.
Grandma and Grandpa always steal the show. Poor Trent. Maybe some yoga would help relieve some stress and don't forget to breath. Remember this time next year you will be sitting on your front porch, eating a pudding pop, and enjoying the view.😍 Say hi! To Grandma and Grandpa for me. And give Frank some lovin too! Love y'all😘💜🐾💜 By the way, how's the mouse?😀🐭
When your grandmother called people nincompoops, my love for her grew 10 fold! I was trying to watch that part again, (Sorry, it is one of my very favorite parts of all the videos of yours I have watched so far. I love all the renovating and stuff y'all are taking on and doing. Plus the travel. But, she is so hilarious!!!, and so gosh darn sweet!!!) I could watch that clip at least 200 more times! I thought it was on your wedding video, but It wasn't.
So you guys have inspired me to go tiny! I have been really loving the idea and watching different videos about it but you both have really made me want to take the leap for myself and my family. The beautiful life you life and how happy you seem just makes me so excited. Thank you for being you and sharing your lives with us all.❤
I love your grandparents! You are so blessed to have your mother and grandparents. I am much older than you guys, but your video's are helping me decide how much I want to downsize and where. I look forward to your next video!
I am a NYC city slicker and I have so enjoyed watching all your adventures in the country. I'm missing Eleanor, Oso and the chickens for example. I loved learning how a septic tank is installed, am I crazy? Looking forward to the actual building of the house. By the way, the lawn at your grandparents house is perfectly done. Kudos to grandpa.
Good morning guys! Randy here. Great to see your progress! Love your Grandparents! Sounds like fun with the septic tank. We just had our foundation poured this past week. The gang at KSL say “Hi”.
Love his grandparents!! Mice Advice !!!!! From a few episodes. Part of living in nature is the critters. Mice don’t like metal. Put Brillo pads and crumbled aluminum foil in all the gaps around pipes and wires. Moth balls ( although might be illegal to do so in your area)under cabin will keep them from chewing wires. All food, including dog food in bags need to be sealed in Tupperware/Rubbermaid containers or metal tins. Something they can’t chew through.Grow plants like chives, mint around the base of your cabin. They don’t like it. There are other plants to choose from also. Good luck!!
I live in a tiny home, I have a black and decker 0.9 cu. Washer! It is fantastic! Uses minimal water and electricity! Won't do huge loads but you can keep your laundry up doing a load a day! I love how clothes smell dried outside so I rigged a mini clothesline on my porch! So rain and snow and sleet are not a problem!! And they smell like sunshine and outside! So wonderful! Only uses cold water so won't deplete your hot weather! Have been enjoying all your videos and love you guys! Want to start Thing full time! Retired and no reason not to! Grew up DIYing with my dad redoing as is homes and selling for a profit! Dad was an electrical engineer in the Military so we rewired and over wired every house to make them electrically safer!
I was explaining what they are installing to my guy who explained to me what is involved and I didn't see any of what he said and is exactly what you both are saying
They’re building on the side of a mountain. No amount of leveling will stop the force of a billion years of geology. That said a foot of gravel base would’ve at least got them through the inspection.
Adam Rountree 100% agree . Can tell I'm not the only Frank fan. They need to set a Frank Fan Club, sell merchandise with Frank as the star, which he is of course. Not just myself but others have to. Frank needs books done with his adventures but seen from Franks perspective. Cheers from Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨🐕🦺. PS his side could be Oso white puppy
Please, no. I unsubscribed from what was a great channel until it became a cat show. It's always better to keep people wanting more of something than giving it to them--like dessert. Enough is enough.
I Love Frank. Maybe he can be set up with a mini cam and you can cut some of his adventures into your regular footage...that way we could see what Frank sees, and the haters who will dump the channel if the is too much Dog - will be happy too.

Jan Moline Hey Jan, I was born in Lancaster, Ca......My memories, of living there are happy/sad. The desert has it's beauty. Moved to Texas for 18 years, now in Missouri. For 8 years. Moved here to be close to our Grandkids. Sorry for the loss of your parents. We lost our son at 23yo. Glad you have enjoyed your relationship with your Grandparents. 🤗🤗
@@bevr2164 aww, thanks so much. Lancaster was our big excursion for shopping at Gemco! We used to there as kids with $20 (there were 6 in the family) and buy a Christmas present for Dad, Mom, and the other 3 kids! Dating myself huh? I can't imagine buying 5 presents these days for $20 lol. I have cousins that live in Texas, and two of my Dad's sisters married, settled and raised their families in Missouri. I'm so sorry about the loss of your son. That has to be so hard. I pray that you have peace at this point. I sure appreciate your reply. I absolutely love the beauty of the desert. The wind, not so much, and the extremes of cold and heat can be a challenge, but worth the sunsets and stars and beautiful canyons.
it's one thing for the S-Tank to be level when you put it in, it's another thing entirely for it to remain level when multiple tons of water have been added. What you ended up with was a compaction distraction! good recovery and you stuck the landing so you get a 10.0 in the construction olympics today!

You should make sure you use marine grade wood on those surfaces closest to the ground,The pressure treated wood at the big box stores will not have any kind of longevity
That's the truth. We paid $5,000 for our deck. The wood was rotting within the 1st year. Would go with a different product if we had the money 💰 to do it again.
Denice Sanders The key is continuing to treat it at least annually if not semi-annually. We’ve got a 1500’ wood deck off the back of our house that I built over 20 years ago and it’s as solid now as it was the day it was installed.
@@auto_pilot it has been treated. I appreciate your comment on treating our deck yearly. We have, but living in NW Tennessee with the monsoon season of our spring makes keeping our deck in any decent shape nearly impossible. If we knew when we bought our place what we know now, we would have invested more wisely in having our deck built. We bought our property in Tennessee when living in Texas. My husband remained working in Texas while our dog and I moved to Tennessee. I had the deck built right after moving to Tennessee. Then I had to fly to Idaho to bring my in-laws to live in Tennessee. So, many things were not done correctly midst all the confusion. I really do appreciate your suggestion very much.
Denice Sanders Where in NW Tennessee? We have property in Dyersburg and know that area well. Were there just a couple of weeks ago. We, too, live in Texas and have been shooting hogs while sitting on our deck the past several nights because they’ve become so invasive and destructive around our house from the rest of our property.
@@auto_pilot HI neighbor! We are in Cottage Grove, well actually out in the country. My closest friend in this area is from Dyersburg. I don't know if I've ever been there. We lived in Smyrna for quite sometime and then my husband was transferred to Arlington, TX. Now we are both in TN. Where are you in Texas? My sister lived in Victoria when she was married to her 1st mistake. My brother lived in Arlington/Dallas area when he was in college. My older brother has been the only one of us not to live in Texas. Pretty odd coming from a bunch of idiots from Northern Idaho. Shooting hog, huh? Our neighbors have a hog farm and I think they'd be really upset if we started shooting Porky & Petunia. Do you eat the meat from boars? Or would you want to?
I'm a grown man that is still crazy about cereal. lol. If I had my way I'd eat an entire box of Trix or Fruit Loop's every morning! lol. I also love me some Frosted Mini-Wheats, but most of the time they fill me up after two bowls. lol.

When we built our first home all of my kids were little. When they saw the septic tank coming to the property they thought it was a swimming pool! They were so disapionted! LOL!
I've worked in the movie business for 40 years and no mater how much you plan and prep something always happens so you have to go with the flow and solve issues on your feet. Good job!
Why did they not know the tank might re-level under water weight? Surely they've installed enough septic tanks to know this might be a problem, & even then they don't have their own water pump? Not sure, doesn't make sense but seems like a newbie mistake? Then you've wasted a crap-tonne of water to fix it. Also, why do the owners have to pay to hire a pump to rectify the builder's mistake? I know, I have too many questions, & I'm probably missing some context, but I really hope you're not paying for that screw-up, scratching my head over this one guys lol🤔😁🤣
I am challenged when watching any building series...because my family are all tradesmen and I've been around construction all my life. I have mentioned things in the past but comments get ignored or not read in general. They'll figure it out without me! lol And it's also not my dime. ☺

Thank you!
I love love love your grandmother. I was practically in tears listening to her. Tears of joy and happiness. I love you guys to bits.
I just love and admire that you guys share your sleepy morning faces with us! Even Frank's lol! I love watching your videos. You are both so wonderful and funny with each other. Your videos are great! Thank you.
I ADORE your grandparents :D they are fabulous. Please tell your grandmother that she reminds me of my Grandma and I smile everytime she talks!
Allie, everything you tackle, you’ve mastered. So pat yourself on the back, I think you are as said in Pride and Prejudice “ a Formidable woman”👍🏻👍🏻😊
I need a care package of a Victron Multiplus 3000 12v. I'd be happy to pass on my address haha
Frank is cute when he getting comfy in the pillows .
Frank is cute whatever he does, or doesn't do❣🐾🐕🐾🐕🐾❣🐕
Trent you are an absolutely lucky lucky man because you have a woman that literally laughed and loves your companyand your grandparents and your mother are always smiling and laughing and I love on how they incredibly adore Allie

I agree!

Yeah that's pretty nice for a starter home! Are they up near Durst mountain and Monte Cristo peak?
I love that you have this relationship with your Grandparents. It just tickles me so.
Trent your grandmother is such a sweet lady and adorable too .
Trent, your grandmother loves Allie so much. I remember watching the video of your wedding, you picked up your grandparents and Grandma Terry kept asking where Allie was. It made me smile. You're a lucky guy Trent, to have such a supportive wife and and wonderful grandparents!
Oh the joy of finding a wee red dot on my RUclips app and it’s Trent and Allie 💕💕💕
Your grandparents are awesome! It makes my day when I see you have a new video and its a bonus with your grandparents! Brightens up the dismal time we are in. See you next time.
I never knew any of my grandparents so adopting yours Trent! Every grandchildren’s dream! You two are blessed and I love you both!
Ohhhhhh, those grandparents!!! They are soooo adorable. You are so very blessed to still have them around! We can tell whom grandma loves the best...Allie! She's free! Trent has to pay up. lol
Allie you are becoming a fantastic editor! The intro narration feels like a professional production show on hgtv! You guys deserve your own camera crew and show ♥️ Seeing your notification pop up makes my day. Also congrats on all the awesome sponsorships! Love from Idaho!
Allie's smile is infectious i am smiling for no reason while i watch you videos and Trent bro grow a THOR like beard will look good on you
Trent and Allie I love watching your RUclips videos.
That lawn has a little slope to it, too!
I'm a city girl and learned more about septic systems in this video than I ever thought I would know 😀. Your grandparents are great!
Oh my gosh your grandma is the sweetest! "She's free!" 😊
Your smiles made a tough morning so much better.
Thank You Trent & Allie
Grandma Terri. Your a gift to the world from our Lord.
And after all this to think about your friend that called you for help to fix his van just if they knew what you guys are going through omg and you still had the time to explain all about the electric power and the connections you rock love watching your channel can't wait for the next vlog
This channel is great bc you are both hard workers, kind to others. There is no cursing or half naked bodies. Much better than reality TV.
The filming and the editing of these videos is fabo
Props Allie
I love your grandparents. Sweet couple.
Frank gets into bed and moves the pillows out of his way while Trent is talking about the cereal. LOL!
Remember Terry's black and gray tanks if hooked up directly to sectic tank is not the way to go. You will end up with a black tank problems. So fill tanks dump black then gray.
Grandma Terri is just the most wonderful cutest lady ever! I just adore watching trent and grandma terri together!
Trent, your grandmother is the best part of any video she appears in.
Oh my gosh I adore your grandparents. What gems.
The tank may have been level till it was full. The weight compacted dirt under it to allow it to compact on the wrong end.
I believe I heard at least a 10 minute description of that conundrum by Allie, then Trent- with a 10 second Interlude to enjoy grandma and grandpa!
Your grandparents are awesome! Now I know where Trent gets his sense of humor from.. I love your channel
Good luck!!
Some mice are so agressive they will eat right thru Tupperware/plastic.
I saw Trent helping Eamon with his electrical on their van👍 It blew my mind that you guys helped each other. Love your channel❤
It will be so much fun to see more of Grandma and Grandpa. Don't get me wrong, your Mom is cool too. I just love me some Grandparents.
Yay for All Terry's. You will be safe there. Buy them a nice gift instead of rent.
I agree. I miss my grandparents so much.
Me too
Laura Oakes $$ always better... so they use as they wish because they probably have most of what they want an need
I wonder why they didn't compact the earth and lay a compact gravel pad under that. I thought that would be a no brainer. 😳
I was wondering the same thing.
If they had water filling only on the one side, that weight would have forced the tank off-level.
Nothing beats a concrete slab. 100 mm thick it's cheap and easy to do yourself.
Your grandparents are super awesome.
i think we all can agree that we need 20% more Frank in every episode.
I miss the little white puppy too
@@patsylee9788 Oso is the white puppy
It’s so sweet how much Trents grandma loves Allie!
Another entertaining video...saw Trents “guest appearance” on Eamon and Bec. You’re really a good guy Trent!
My father-in-law is 90, so special to have grandparents that are so chipper. My father-in-law gardens and just grows the best fruit and veg and we're in the middle of the Mojave Desert!! It's a lot of work. He and Gramma are so amazing and such a great source of character, strength, and love for the family. I pray blessing and wonderful times together for you two and your grandparents as I totally hear Allie, my father and mother in-law have been there for me and my children in such a special way. As my parents are in heaven, they have been such a blessing!! I love to hear and see your grandparents, they are adorable!!!!
I’m building out a 6x12 enclosed trailer and there is so much to do. I’m 70yrs old and it’s making me feel stronger. It’s a lot of work especially in the he in Florida. I really am so happy. Thank both of you. Both of you gave me the courage to do this.
Thumbs up #127 for Trent, Allie and Frank🐾!!💙 Congratulations on the permit for the 2nd structure!!🥳 Hugs and positive vibes from Cynthia on the Coast of Oregon.🤗☮☔#davesandersstepdaughter 🦋

Oh my God, Grandma is a hoot! I just love ❤️ her energy! 😄😄😄😄🤗
Yay for Trent‘s grandparents!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I have to check, but you may be able to park in my driveway. I'm at the bottom of the mountain. I'm writing you a letter. More info. In the letter. 👍
Trent, Allie, Trent's grandparents, and Frank, all rolled in to an educational video with a shout out to the new neighbors as well. Well done!
I'm a grown man that is still crazy about cereal. lol. If I had my way I'd eat an entire box of Trix or Fruit Loop's every morning! lol. I also love me some Frosted Mini-Wheats, but most of the time they fill me up after two bowls. lol.
You might be dehydrated. When I'm thirsty, I can't get enough cereal. 💗
Grandma Terry is sooo ADORABLE!
Hope you get the tank sorted... But I have every faith in the amazing Curtis 👍🎈🎉

My grandmother just passed a few hours ago! Make sure u hug yours hard and tell her u love her. I could not say goodbye because her nursing home wanted a covid test. I understood because they have other people’s family to think about. I’m so happy your dreams are coming true. You both are such a beautiful family! Lots of love!

Good job!
Frank is definitely the star of this show.
Grandma is the sweetest ♥️♥️
Why did they not know the tank might re-level under water weight? Surely they've installed enough septic tanks to know this might be a problem, & even then they don't have their own water pump? Not sure, doesn't make sense but seems like a newbie mistake? Then you've wasted a crap-tonne of water to fix it. Also, why do the owners have to pay to hire a pump to rectify the builder's mistake? I know, I have too many questions, & I'm probably missing some context, but I really hope you're not paying for that screw-up, scratching my head over this one guys lol🤔😁🤣
LOL - because Trent is the DRAMA KING of RUclips ....Oh - and I have a stomach ache - ugh - MORE DRAMA FROM THE KING.....it never ends with him....
I am challenged when watching any building series...because my family are all tradesmen and I've been around construction all my life. I have mentioned things in the past but comments get ignored or not read in general. They'll figure it out without me! lol And it's also not my dime. ☺
I'm a chef......and I thought what if that tank settles uneven.🤣
