I once drove a 2006 Audi S8 V10 5.2 back in 2007 which only had 5.500 miles on the clock and I have to say it was amazingly smooth and very refined for an sporty Audi A8. I only borrowed it for a day from one of my mates but I wished that It was mine ! as that sound from that 5.2 V10 Lambo derived engine is phenomenal !! - and that's coming from a 2009 CLS 63 AMG 6.2 m156 owner ! so believe me its very good for an Audi ! and also has the bonus of being all wheel drive too !
Hmm, I did that (exactly for the same type of S8) and 'funny' immediate consequence was an intake manifold failure (pieces of flaps were found stuck on valves). Btw, intake manifold is a very expensive piece of kit to change for S8. Whether carbon cleaning (Terraclean) really was the (only) triggering reason for it, I'm not sure but what I'm absolutely sure is that I'll never, ever do that cleaning again under any circumstances. In addition, the difference of cleaning - hardly anything noticeable. In my case it was a total 100% waste. I'd say that far better use of money is to do e.g. ECU remap, or simply a decent full service (plus obviously stop using the cheapest, shitty supermarket low grade petrol in the first place).
who did the carbon cleaning? An Indy or the official Audi dealer. How was the carbon cleaning done? Walnut shell blasting, some aggressive sea foam or any other hand scraping method?
Some local Terraclean agent using their standard method (which seems to be widely tested/in use). Anyway, I had not experienced any problem with the engine before the cleaning took place, nothing. Straight after cleaning you could hear 'funny engine noises' coming from intake manifold. I was able to drive the car pretty much straight away to the garage. After removing the relevant bits of engine cover there were pieces of manifold 'flaps' found stuck on the valves. So f...g great cleaning outcome. You can just guess what the damage could have been if those pieces had ended up in cylinder / pistons. It was my first and definitely the ultimately last time I use that particular service ever. Total waste of time and massive amount of money.
The S6 has the same exact identical drivetrain yet much smaller and much lighter. What were you expecting? Way to state the obvious Sherlock. Here’s a cookie 🍪

Is it the stock exhaust?
Was that the standard exhaust?
Lite sen kommentar men kul att plötsligt höra rix fm haha. Tänkte att det var typ en tysk som spelade in först

I'm looking for one now. none in my area so far.
Me i bought :)) i take key in 2day :s~
@@jfplourde1ify do you like it? Has it any problems so far?
That engine is not boosting out 450 bph. Something is wrong in it (and I don't mean the funny exhaust noise). there is evident lack of power.
needs carbon clean..huge difference after that

Juha Makinen he can't open it up with traffic in front of him.
My s6 would walk that all day with ease I don't know what's done to mine but any I seen on here don't even come close.

DaShn1ZzLe it could be simple as the gas cap is loose.
There’s a separate light for gas cap loose on VW and Audi’s cockpit
