Thank you for this elaborate description.... Sir, I have a question. Post MS Surgery from India, if I enrol as a non-academic SR in GI Surgery at a teaching hospital, will that experience be counted as SS training if I have a proper logbook, adequate number of publications and attendance in national/ international conferences?

    Thank you.
Are you saying we can now obtain a CCT after getting FRCS without completing a structured UK training for 5 years as IMGs with some training abroad?
I am a Senior Registrar in General Surgery in Nigeria who is interested in obtaining a CCT in General Surgery in the UK.
Would you advise me to come over to the UK immediately to start my training ir finish my training at home?
I have recently passed MRCS part A.
    Much blessings

Can anyone in a non-training position in the UK who wants to pursue CESR Pathway to speciality register, also appear for FRCS JCSFE, instead of JCIE? Which one is recommended?
