Dan explained the meaning every song on the album listening party stream last night. I like hearing your own interpretation during the reaction though, so don't stop with that. There is also an artbook from the story/concept out, by Amos, the bassist.
I'll try in my own words (from playing the game and the reading I've done). War of Being is the battle within ourselves that never ends in our minds. Between who we are, who we want to be, who we were forced to become... The realm Strangeland in this concept is a representation of our mind. Ex and El (fear and knowledge), got separated after they lost control and their ship "The Dream" crashes in the latest music video. Like dreams crashing in real life, forcing you to reflect over yourself. The characters in the story are splinters of the human mind. The red/purple little imp is The Grey - the inner child, our innocence, ideas and creativity. When we lose him we become depressed. The song "The Grey" is about that depressed state. It ends with the words "start your war!" It's not easy though, it means facing your fears, accepting them, and accepting who you are, which the song "Legion is about". It goes into "Tender" and it sounds like Ex and El are almost blaming each other for the way things became, the frustration is strong, again the battle of our own mind.
The mechanical man is our "armour" that we built up during our life, all our defence mechanisms, all changes of our real self we've been force to do. Our Burden, that we need to get rid of. The Scribe who writes in red ink during one of the videos is Fate, in part controlling us. The labyrinth we've seen in the logo is the human mind. In the middle of the labyrinth is truth, our true self, guarded by fear (the legions). To get through to our real self we need to tear the mask away, stop lying to ourselves, accept ourselves, collect knowledge (elevate my understanding) and battle our fears (the legion of samurais) and find our truth. That's when Ex and El will be reunited and we feel more whole. The last track "Sacrifice" is a move forward, we feel empowered, a ray of hope, but at the same time we have to deal with the sacrifices we made along the way, the sorrows, guilts, our past, that has shaped us. Conflicting emotions, a part of being human.

Funny how different people can view this. For me, Burden into Sacrifice is the highlight and one of the most stunning 2 songs TesseracT has made. U give the second half a couple of more listens, and I'll do the same to the first half :)

Natural Disaster, Tender and War of Being on first listen were all 10s for me. After multiple listens, every song is a 10 for me now but Sirens. It’s not even a bad song, just too experimental for me personally.
This album surpassed One in my eyes and is easily AOTY

I guess I am in the minority of fans who hold One as their favorite Tesseract album (Altered State is second). I've never felt any other material came close to One/Concealing Fate (even if it was good on its own) but IMO, this album easily tops everything they've released before.

It almost seems to me that just based off the lyrics, this album could be a personal discovery and growth in the face of a gnostic viewpoint on life. There seem to be multiple implications of reincarnation, soul mates, the cycle of life (rather than a destination), and the necessary conflict of existence (war of being). For context, in gnostic belief, the creator of the physical universe (demiurge) is evil, however, there is a self-existent power that's higher than the demiurge that sources consciousness and existence out of love. The demiurge uses the physical universe to trap pieces of the highest creator (souls) in order to feed on their energy as fear and shame to survive. The demiurge by nature is not self existing and therefore needs to feed on energy to exist. Its constituent immaterial beings behave the same and feed on fear and shame. Anything in the physical universe must obey the rules of the energy feeding system of the physical universe. This is because of entropy being introduced here. The highest creator allows all things under free will in order for them to learn, so the solution is to send souls of its kind into the physical universe, to be tormented and attempt to spread love.
I know this was kind of a lengthy rambling about this form of spirituality, but I think it's important because many metal bands have this as the foundation of their message and few people know it. Erra, for example, is another popular band that is heavily versed in this worldview. Any songs from Impulse or Augment have this context. Divisionary is another concise example from their recent album. I think once you read into this, most philosophical metal lyrics are almost self-explanatory.
