Show of the Weekend! We're back on the sofa as Ellen tries to guess Andy's preferred Dishonored-power, plus loads of Lego, your comments, bloops and more. Enjoy!
James the Cameraman (His full legal name I assume) reminds me of The Outsider. He's a mysterious figure that we know little about, barring his controversial stances on the Star Wars prequels. Yet he is all present, all seeing, controlling in the way of which we perceive the reality of this channel through his lens both literally and figuratively. He rarely intervenes in the conversation, but when he does it has a profound effects on us all. Truly something to think about...
14:17 "Show of the weekend 19 November 2017" Very impressed you guys invented time travel to make up Ellen-ing two months from now so that you could bring the footage back for this video.
I would love displace because if I had to pop out to the store for milk, or well anywhere for anything, I could just 'cast' it at home and then skip the entire trip home. Yes, I would use an otherworldly power to do basic domestic chores. No, I am not ashamed of it.
Let's be honest, most of us would use otherworldly powers for domestic chores. I mean, most of us don't have cool, dangerous adventures to go on, and wouldn't go seeking any out if we had the chance, so that basically leaves "make loads of money" and "chores" as our options.
Can I just say thank you guys so much for the subtitles whenever the off panel guests talk, I'm currently ill and can't hear very well as a result and I'm sure other HoH people are thankful as well I appreciate it so much thank you guys for making my weekends so much brighter!
You know what I also really appreciate while watching your videos ? No clickbait titles, not red circles or arrows pointing somewhere, no emoticons. Just nice, funny titles, thumbnails giving a nice good tease for the video. Just. So. Good. Thank you for that people.
Ellen you did such a good job with the present, it literally made Luke so happy he forgot to be upset about not getting to go to LegoLand. Truly Well Done hahahaha.
Every Dishonored character has a unique take on Corvo's Blink skill. Ellen's take on it is not getting to the faraway place, but getting the thing that's faraway. Ellen is quite the clever one.
Rewatching old Show of the Weekend more than seven years later brings back memories (one might even call them presh mems) and almost makes me cry a little. I miss the gentler banter and heartwarming camaraderie between Ellen and Luke.
You know, and a lot of cases I think I actually would have preferred the commit to the hard cut ending, but this lot is just so wholesome that I'm actually glad they didn't do it
Oh my goodness Luke is so genuinely happy and exited by the legos when he looks at the camera his eyes are sparkling and he looks like he may be on the verge of tears of joy so sweet!
Luke, threatening Ellen with destroying her Kingdoms of Amalur disks just because she killed off one FLAMINGO? That is so childish. You really should discuss this with Jane. Jane wouldn't of done that. Jane would of stolen all of Ellen's saved games, put then on a USB, and then returned the USB to Ellen after Ellen has shown proper remorse. It wouldn't be Jane's fault the data somehow (most definitely not intentionally) become corrupted. Or at least I imagine Jane would of done something like that. She has some experience with management and negotiation, right?
General rule in lego games: if stuck, break everything you can till something happens. Happy Birthday Luke! At one point Luke says "Death of the Ellen” instead of “Death of the Outsider”!
You reminded me a little of Rick and Morty with the camera finger.... 'Hi, I am not staring at you (pointing in your case), I am taking your picture, just act natural, this is a candid shot!
You know I can't be the only one who's curious as to what sort of discussions happen during those fast-forwarded moments, such as when Ellen is busy with drawing her void arm and Luke is speaking to (presumably) Andy and James.
Did anyone else notice the life leave Ellens eyes when she said "It's not a dinosaur. I know that now." If you listen hard enough, I'll bet you can hear her flashback to every single dinosaur talk with Luke she ever had.
Is no one gonna mention Luke's face when hearing about the process of making Legos 10:48? I've never seen someone so passionate about plastic manufacturing
Show of the Weekend! We're back on the sofa as Ellen tries to guess Andy's preferred Dishonored-power, plus loads of Lego, your comments, bloops and more. Enjoy!
Hey Ellen thought you might like to know that my brother had a daughter this week that they named Eleanor Rose!
Luke's unbridled Lego joy at his Lego dinosaur is the best moment ever.
Both of you are so great
Andy is a fan of ghosts and spooky things?! My life is a lie!
Outside Xtra I would put the camera on my middle finger and confuse people when im recording like 19:14
The way luke reacted to the lego put a huge grin on my face, he was like a child on Christmas :p
God forbid, but if Outside Xtra ever goes under at least Luke and Ellen have prospective careers in testing and rating sofas based on their bounciness

Dom Locke Im way to high for this
Or, is it way too high for you?
Luke - "which two are technically dinosaurs?"
Ellen - "Those two, not the flying one. I know that now" * stares helplessly into camera *
"The Ellening is coming!"
"Quick, deploy the penguin!"
... can this become a game mechanic somewhere? I feel like this needs to be a thing.
Its Ellen's penguins against Luke's Flamingo's! whose going to win?
The friendship is actually adorable 😊 Ellen is such a sweetheart.
13 minutes in: You guys are about the cutest human beings on the planet! I love yall. You consistently make me happy and I needed some of that today.
JKM395 they are the true adults: they never actually stopped being kids, they just found the right job.
The Silent Exo Amen!
TARGET: How'd you find out my secrets?
BILLIE: A little rat... WHISKERED it into my ear.
The rats have been telling TAILS again.
They know all your gnawing fears.
Scotty Enn you should learn to keep squeakskets to your self
Tell the guard that he was ratted on and see who he blames first.
what did the rat say before running off "Rattata"
Seeing Luke and Ellen being the most adorable dorks makes me all warm and fuzzy inside *_* Thank you for my weekly dose of fluff!
Luke's not gonna be able to Lego of this
SMOKEBOMB
The surprise gift Ellen gave to Luke and Luke's reaction just honestly makes this channel one of the best.
Some of us call them _WINGS_ Luke.
Yep...Luke should have consulted his arm brain before making the head feather statement.
They _are_ an essential component of flamingos after all.
Headwings (sounds like a Harry Potter character)
Now I need an outside unbox vid for that sick legosaurus
I think it's probably too late for that
Ellen: It's not a dinosaur, I know that now
Me: Ellen, I think we all know that now
Petition for a 1 hour Show of the Weekend episode 🙌

Very impressed you guys invented time travel to make up Ellen-ing two months from now so that you could bring the footage back for this video.
Sam Barnard Time Lords & Ladies confirmed.
rocksalotification do you know what is the worst thing about being stuck in a time loop
Wow they could bring us show of the weekend vids, months in advance! But that might cause some space time problems
It was a one-time only time-loop grenade/device that Luke stole from the Tardis that time he was on Dr.Who...
Sam Barnard *DON'T TELL LUKE*
I would love displace because if I had to pop out to the store for milk, or well anywhere for anything, I could just 'cast' it at home and then skip the entire trip home. Yes, I would use an otherworldly power to do basic domestic chores. No, I am not ashamed of it.
or if you are gaming cast one in the toilet and whenever you need the toilet just skip the trip
You're the reason they're killing the Outsider. XD

I would use Emily's ability to create a clone of myself and make it do chores and go to work in my place.
That sounds like slavery
After doing a lot of research I think it´s safe to say that Ellen and Luke are the most huggable people on youtube :)
Wow. Can't believe Ellen told Luke.
Luke's happiness with the gift was a beautiful genuine touching moment, don't do that again.
Can I just say thank you guys so much for the subtitles whenever the off panel guests talk, I'm currently ill and can't hear very well as a result and I'm sure other HoH people are thankful as well I appreciate it so much thank you guys for making my weekends so much brighter!

Don't tell luke
Luke excitement at the sight of the lego gift is my new credo, you guys are adorableee!
I hope my nephew is half that excited when I give that set to him for his birthday.
i believe so, what kid doesn't like lego?
You know what I also really appreciate while watching your videos ? No clickbait titles, not red circles or arrows pointing somewhere, no emoticons. Just nice, funny titles, thumbnails giving a nice good tease for the video. Just. So. Good. Thank you for that people.
Danish viewer here! Outside Xtra visitting Denmark? Now THAT'S a party I wouldn't avoid like the rat plague! Hope you enjoyed your stay :D
I've got that dinosaur lego creator for my son's birthday, who I already know won't be as excited as Luke was to receive it.
Ellen you did such a good job with the present, it literally made Luke so happy he forgot to be upset about not getting to go to LegoLand. Truly Well Done hahahaha.
I love watching as Luke slowly has a mental breakdown
I love how Andy is always there to heckle their show of the week.
The actual answer to the first question was his amazing eyes. So easy to... get lost in them........
His real eyes look better.
I know that this video is over a year old, but Luke and Ellen’s friendship is just so pure
Luke is so excited about the Lego set that he looks at it the whole time Ellen is drawing.
You know, and a lot of cases I think I actually would have preferred the commit to the hard cut ending, but this lot is just so wholesome that I'm actually glad they didn't do it
Luke's reaction to to getting lego was my reaction to getting Lego when I was 7...so cute
This video should be titled "Don't tell Luke"
It should be illegal for Luke and Ellen to be this adorable
I actually squealed in delight when Ellen and Luke hugged?? Why does their friendship make me so happy honestly I can't
12:09, my favourite face of yours Luke.
Thank you Ellen for making him so happy! (Don't tell luke, but happy early birthday!)
1:25 the old in the hand pretend to eat it trick. Works on my 2 year old all the time! Also seems super effective against Luke...
No I think Luke knew what was going on, Luke just wanted to see Ellen be in pain for a little "he was thinking of the flamingo's
Always remember the Flamingos!
I wondered how Luke could destroy a digital copy of a game, but then I heard him talking to Greg and realized the answer.
He used a Steam-roller.
The reason the Anti-Ellening Penguin didn't work is because the only thing that truly is Anti-Ellen is a spider.
Luke is so excited by that dinosaur LEGO. These two are the most adorable pair I have ever seen. I hope they stay friends forever.
Those puns really got on mjolnerves eh Ellen?
It Mjolnir-ly drove me mad!
David James i think my sanity would be thorly missed
Luke's face when Ellen pulled out his present is just pure joy. Also happy nearly birthday Luke!
Oh my goodness Luke is so genuinely happy and exited by the legos when he looks at the camera his eyes are sparkling and he looks like he may be on the verge of tears of joy so sweet!

Well my heart just melted, Ellen's gift to Luke was about the cutest thing in the world!
Okay, Luke and Ellen are so adorable, I just want to hug them!
Luke was so happy about his gift, it was the best thing I've ever seen ;____;
Love you guys!
Referencing Asterix in your video is now my favorite thing I have seen on this channel
she told luke.
she told luke.
"I'm actually Anakin Skywalker.... don't tell Luke."
Now I just want to see Luke re-create the scene in 'Firefly' with Wash playing with his model dinosaurs...
THIS
Nicholas Cross I get the impression that the scene from Space Balls is closer to the truth.
"watch the video again" Luke crushing a lego box in joy seems to say.
Aww that was so nice, Luke was so chuffed with his pressi, its always nice when you get presents that people have put thought into.
Luke's face when he saw the picture on the box is everything that is right with the world lol
I probably would not have shown the restraint Luke did with not opening the Lego set while Ellen was drawing. Well done, Luke!
14:22 the bottom text stated the clip was from 19th of November, 2017...
2017...
Don't tell Luke!
Anggoro Putra they created time travel! O.o
There is just so much love in this video, it's amazing. I was ear to ear smile the entire time.
"they each do their own little things and it's adorable" yea death moves are basically puppies
knowing the horror to just step on a lego, I can't even imagine the horrors of actually eating one
Plot twist the hardcut was real and the rest is just our brains imagining what could have been
Luke is so adorable whenever he's happy.
Don't tell Luke
That was not a proper ellenning, Luke! You didn't ellen Ellen, you just lied to her!
The Ellening, sounds like a horror movie.
Luke's excitement over the dinolego is really endearing!
Luke was so excited he couldn't say "pterodactyl" XD
'I need a watch because I always feel lost without it'... I think you're looking for a compass, Ellen!
General rule in lego games: if stuck, break everything you can till something happens.
Happy Birthday Luke!
At one point Luke says "Death of the Ellen” instead of “Death of the Outsider”!
Oh no, I am suddenly ill and off work! (Secretly plays Dishonoured)
You reminded me a little of Rick and Morty with the camera finger.... 'Hi, I am not staring at you (pointing in your case), I am taking your picture, just act natural, this is a candid shot!
"Now I know!", says Ellen, looking directly into the camera, all life escaping her now soulless stare
Luke with his lego box: "My precious"
This video was so sweet; loved Luke's happiness at the Lego set gift
Ellen going to Legoland without Luke is like JD going to Disneyland without Turk.
I clicked play, then proceed to laugh hysterically for the next 90 seconds.
Best. Intro. Ever.
Luke being happy about his present is very heartwarming and cute. ^^
"Don't tell Luke", the sequel to Doctor Who's "Blink"
Well, honestly, if rest of the episode was just Luke playing with his new Lego set, I'd call it a win.
And now it's time for the penguin on top of the sofa to explode
How did you know that was going to happen?
Ellen's bottle opener nail drawing looks like the result of someone trying to open a bottle with their actual fingernail.
Glad I'm not the only adult that has Luke's reaction to Legos.
Spice up that arm? Luke! She's not a rat!
Ellening is a true right of passage Luke. You should be honored. Instead you act Dishonored. If only it was the second time.
Best thing about The Outsider is the fact that he's voiced by Robin Lord Taylor. HNNNGGGGG!!!! 💜
You know I can't be the only one who's curious as to what sort of discussions happen during those fast-forwarded moments, such as when Ellen is busy with drawing her void arm and Luke is speaking to (presumably) Andy and James.
Ellen's idea of cool things: reaching the top shelf.
Did anyone else notice the life leave Ellens eyes when she said "It's not a dinosaur. I know that now."
If you listen hard enough, I'll bet you can hear her flashback to every single dinosaur talk with Luke she ever had.
While Ellen describes the lego factory, Luke slowly melts into a puddle of satisfsaction....
A penguin a day keeps the Ellening away? *Happily lives far away from penguins*
My heart just melted with happiness
Don't tell Luke:)
Is no one gonna mention Luke's face when hearing about the process of making Legos 10:48? I've never seen someone so passionate about plastic manufacturing
Billy: You were ratted out.
Target: Those little tattle-tails!!
I can only aspire to be as happy as Luke was when he got that dinosaur set. ❤️
Something living in the sofa? Please...it's the sofa that's alive.
So, something living...AS THE SOFA??!!
