i also get my sweets from home, a mandatory Tesco visit everytime I go to London. All the sweets and snacks here are sub standard comparably.

You can find Oman chips in nearly all grocery stores and those Baqala shops have them too...
You need to try paratha with kraft cheese and oman chips, it's UAE traditional fast food and trust me an absolutely culinary experience :-)
