Batru hotel is one of the favourite hub in Peenya near bus depot. It's pure veg and can visit with family . Each and every dish prepared here is hygiene and you feel it's like having food at home. Breakfast and lunch is like all time favourite and when you visit especially in the evening hours you must have Sangeeta and goli bajji and sweets like gulab jamoon with ice cream and also special carrot halwa It's must visit place
It always had huge crowd since 30 years, go at around 1 pm to 2 pm , you see ceo of companies to security guard of some companies, all class staff will eat here regularly Bjatru legacy is pretty huge

Seems exceptionally clean for a canteen that's run into industrial 🏭 area. Kudos to mr Kripal for discovering such offbeat but delicious food serving places.

Today we can afford 100 plates of Kesaribath but cannot give us the same happiness. Some of these eateries take us back to those days but lot of things have changed. Some people are missing while some relations are not the same as before. Atleast food is the same😃

Have been constantly going here if am at Peenya ..! The way they serve and take order itself is different.. now the prices are high especially for the sweets and desserts … but a go to place for authentic and neat food
Eating Gulabjam with vanilla icecream is common but with banana is little different... surely I m going to try at home as we donot get this in Mumbai...

Lavancha in Kannada is Vetiver grass or what's called Khus, makes for a refreshing drink. The subtitler has mistook it for clove which is lavanga in Kannada.

Now in mumbai... Sir u just triggered the foodie in me. I used to have lunch there when i used to study in nttf for straight 2 years.. i just remember 3 places which served the best taste. 1. This place. 2. Ayappa hotel in dasarahalli on highway... 3. Sanjay time(pipeline road) this place was best for evening times.. excellent. Now in mumbai i dont like any hotel foods because of them 😢
Do visit again when tatta is in the house.. he is the soul of this canteen... and their specialities are doses, goli bajji and sangeeta... how come you were not served their mini masale dose and onion dose?
