These guys should be top ten charting international recording artists. It is just so hard to really break through. In this clip it was apparent that the sound people had not made much effort to set Chelsea's microphone up properly, and she did an admirable job getting her voice to carry in spite of the problems with feedback. Obviously the amateur on the sound desk is just going to turn the lead mic level down! As for the ignorant pricks in the audience who were just continually talking all the way through the performance, they are none the wiser, and hence they are still ignorant pricks.

thanks a lot for the insight. I don't understand sound design; I even didn't notice the talking people. I was captivated by Chelsea's singing and performance.
