- Hello guys, I saw this beautifull acrylic pouring feather in the Smart Art Materials Facebook Group by Asa Aurora Barling. So gorgeous, I really was inspired and needed to try it out myself asap. I have done some feathers in the past with the kiss pour. But I think she did it with a chain pull or string pull technique.
I am very pleased with the results and used just my normal acrylic pour painting mixture with only paint & water (around 40%water and 60% paint). But I would have loved to have more lacing, so next time I will try this with floetrol in the paint mixture... if I can order it, cause the artstores are closed here now.

I am an acrylic pouring addict, without a doubt. Playing with colors, testing out new fluid art techniques, brands, sizes & collaborating with other abstract fluid artists; is the best. Since I started this journey I feel more balanced in my work and passion. If you see these fluid painting tutorials and feel like, this is something for me: go for it! The fun thing about fluid painting is, that even though you do exactly the same, the outcome is different everytime. Also everybody has a different view of composition, colorcombinations and the way of doing a technique, what makes and keeps it so interesting to watch. Thank you for watching and following me in my modern art journey!

Great job trying new things, Rinske! Feel free to experiment anytime, we love everything you do and are happy to see you grow as an artist!
Yes! I agree. I am still stunned by the black cloud and mountain "Challenge" painting she did.
I love that when you say good morning
That is so beautiful. I will try it with just paint and water
Love the first time you pull the string, looks like a torneado, or a cone
Wow, that looks so beautiful against the black background!!! Stunning painting!! ❤️
Very pretty feather 🧚♂
This came out beautiful. I do have a suggestion. Use a different string for your second pull and also to let the colors not mix. you will get more of the colors that you want. It came out great. I love all of your videos.
Wow beautiful great job
Ну какая же она замечательная и талантливая
Awesome.... please do more in Indian theme colors......
Colors look good with the black, love the feather look!
A fan pull chain works much better. Beautiful.

멋진 그림이네요! That’s a nice pic! Thank you for sharing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What a charming feather, Rinske! So pretty against the black.
Love learning from you, and love watching you try new things. Thank you!
A few years ago I made such colorful feathers with a string, then another super space abstraction, and then another. You have to practice, because the possibilities are many and you can fantasize.😊Unfortunately, not everyone likes a black or dark background and the patterns I have just look the best.
You make it look so easy...Beautiful!!
I like it 💥

Omg I love that!! I’m so gonna try this!! 😝 so gorgeous
Wonderful Thank you for sharing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Rinske, I don't like so many string pulls, but yours is stunning, and if I ever try it, I want mine to look like yours. Beautiful!
Another gem given to us! I have avoided any string pulls because I have always thought they were too limited in what you could do..(please no more irisesI) But I felt like the first pull you did here was so graphic, with the little white dot above it, it didn't need any more added to it..I'm going to try to pull this off on a 36" x 48"..hopefully today, if I can pull some more paint and bigger rough yarn together...again because stores are closed in Texas as well!
Love the colours and how this turned out. For each pull you should use a new piece of string every time
That is so beautiful.
I can't believe you got this beautiful piece the first time out. Amazing. I have always loved the string pull look, and really like how you laid out your colors. Once again your creative side wins out :-))
This is absolutely lovely, Rinske. I tried a feather when I first started pouring a few years ago and made such a mess, that I never tried again. Perhaps I will now.
Olga does them like crazy. I think she does about the best. I’ve not gotten the technique down. You can use a chain, like you have to pull a light off and on, string, yarn etc. wigglz art is another. You are right about consistency being important. Usually you I’ve off the chain or use a new one before doing the second side. You did a great job for your first pull. I’m going to practice some more now lol
Gorgeous!
This is so beautiful. You made it look so easy. Hope your well during time. Take care. X💞
