Hello guys, I saw this beautifull acrylic pouring feather in the Smart Art Materials Facebook Group by Asa Aurora Barling. So gorgeous, I really was inspired and needed to try it out myself asap. I have done some feathers in the past with the kiss pour. But I think she did it with a chain pull or string pull technique.
I am very pleased with the results and used just my normal acrylic pour painting mixture with only paint & water (around 40%water and 60% paint). But I would have loved to have more lacing, so next time I will try this with floetrol in the paint mixture... if I can order it, cause the artstores are closed here now.

I am an acrylic pouring addict, without a doubt. Playing with colors, testing out new fluid art techniques, brands, sizes & collaborating with other abstract fluid artists; is the best. Since I started this journey I feel more balanced in my work and passion. If you see these fluid painting tutorials and feel like, this is something for me: go for it! The fun thing about fluid painting is, that even though you do exactly the same, the outcome is different everytime. Also everybody has a different view of composition, colorcombinations and the way of doing a technique, what makes and keeps it so interesting to watch. Thank you for watching and following me in my modern art journey!

You made it feather so beautiful with paint and water, the lacing is awesome. The string pull technique is great. I had never seen it done can't wait to try
I love the initial swipe. If I try it I'll stop there. It won't be a feather I know, but it will be cool. Thanks for sharing this with us.
This came out beautiful. I do have a suggestion. Use a different string for your second pull and also to let the colors not mix. you will get more of the colors that you want. It came out great. I love all of your videos.
So incredible,,, real loss for words. Very beautiful
That is really stunning! The metallic colors on the black...gorgeous!

Really nice! Love the curve and colors!
Yes I've got to do this too. Yours turned out Great! You are awesome and I love watching you paint. You inspire me. Thank you so much.💕🤗🌻
Rinske, I don't like so many string pulls, but yours is stunning, and if I ever try it, I want mine to look like yours. Beautiful!
Another gem given to us! I have avoided any string pulls because I have always thought they were too limited in what you could do..(please no more irisesI) But I felt like the first pull you did here was so graphic, with the little white dot above it, it didn't need any more added to it..I'm going to try to pull this off on a 36" x 48"..hopefully today, if I can pull some more paint and bigger rough yarn together...again because stores are closed in Texas as well!
Absolutely stunning!! Thanks for sharing!!
Beautiful 😍
so beautifull!

This is so beautiful. You made it look so easy. Hope your well during time. Take care. X💞
Awesome.... please do more in Indian theme colors......
I really like it! It makes me want to try one!
Olga does them like crazy. I think she does about the best. I’ve not gotten the technique down. You can use a chain, like you have to pull a light off and on, string, yarn etc. wigglz art is another. You are right about consistency being important. Usually you I’ve off the chain or use a new one before doing the second side. You did a great job for your first pull. I’m going to practice some more now lol
Hi Rinske,
Your feather turned out beautiful.
멋진 그림이네요! That’s a nice pic! Thank you for sharing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Amazing 👌👌👌😍😍😍

WOW, stunning. So you just use water and acrylics. Don't know if I ever saw a video of how you mix. Yours always turn out so well. Love to watch you try new things. Hugs!
Perfect!!!
I like it and i´ll try it.
This is absolutely lovely, Rinske. I tried a feather when I first started pouring a few years ago and made such a mess, that I never tried again. Perhaps I will now.

Love the colours and how this turned out. For each pull you should use a new piece of string every time
A fan pull chain works much better. Beautiful.
