I always enjoy your content. Just fyi, my girlfriend quit eating meat in her 40s during the plant base phase and soon developed all kinds of health issues (autoimmune, etc) . We got together at the beginning of Covid and shortly after I convinced her she needs to eat meat. She eventually went full carnivore and is now off pretty much all of her meds. Once in a while she’ll eat something other than meat and always regrets it after when she feel like shit. I grew up on a beef farm so nobody will ever convince me to stop eating meat. Animal fat and protein are essential in my world. Keep up the great work guys !!!

Hahaha! When Sawyer just started talking about Netflix, I said, "I know EXACTLY where he's going with this!" I knew, because j did the EXACT same thing earlier in the week. Made it through the assignments of who eats Vegan and who eats an Omnivor diet and I was like, this is all BS Vegan propaganda! Why is it that Vegans never talk about the recidivism rate of people who go Vegan? How many have too many health problems and have to go back to eating meat? Also, Oreos, French fries and Diet Coke are all Vegan! You have to figure out what works for your body and clean meat is the most nutritionally dense food available.

Thank you for your show. Fifteen years ago I was wanting to know whay was happening in AG in other parts of North America. I would only get information from the odd google search from reporters. This was great but I wanted to hear about the weather, markets and other success's and challenges from the heart of the farmers. Now with social media, we can get that and help support our fellow farmers.
WE are faced with the same challeges here in Canada as you are. It is to many to list. I love farming, the thing that makes farming great is the people in agriculture. SOmetimes it is hard to hear the negative but we can get out and educate the unknown and have fun at it. Good luck! Randy

Just a little info on the January 6th tapes that are coming out. First nobody even though it was highly reported on spent any time on the nonviolent stuff as just like now we all know or I thought we knew that there were a high percentage of the people who looked around and said oh hell no I just came here to protest not destroy the capitol & beat police officers. Here is the problem with what they are doing, rewriting history to fit their agenda, period full stop. Question: if 100 people go protest something and 15 of them go absolutely over the top and destroy everything, tell people that they are going to be killed etc. What is the story? I hope you would agree that the peaceful people that just got loud, or the few that went crazy? They tazzed one officer 6 times , and he ended up having 4 heart attacks, isn't that right there enough because it was all politically motivated even though they were lied to they still did everything WE saw live. A lot of the footage showing the nonviolent images was from other entrances to the Capitol as not everyone was bad and most only acted as the people in front of them acted. OF COURSE they weren't all violent (thank God) or we may have had hundreds killed that day sending the country into a constitutional crisis. It simply boils down to we all seen it live with our own eyes, it simply depends on if you believe what you saw or if you for some reason like the truth watered down by right wing media (not my opinion, just look at the people who have been given the supposedly new footage, right leaning or hard right individuals) look I absolutely respect everyone even those who I vehemently disagree with. I feel that for my opinions to matter then I must allow everyone's to matter, but the problem is not everyone is coming to the table with a set of facts that are the same and not up for interpretation. So if you only listen to fox news and are Republican & somehow thought trump's actions that were reported to you factually correct, then of course you will have a much different view than someone who doesn't just listen to the news, ANY NEWS and really dig into something that doesn't seem right. If I get a "news report" and it sounds a bit off then if I can't find it reported the same general way at several independent sources then and until I get an update I don't believe it. Disinformation is is the worst I have ever seen it and with social media it gets to more eyes than ever, just ask yourself if you are okay with a President sending people to interfere with the election, whether if is 10 people or 10 thousand people, that is unacceptable to me, and not a country that he should be in charge of in any way. This is just my opinion and not meant to trigger anyone, just think if a Democrat did what we know trump did would you have a different opinion of the "facts" or would you be so accepting?

The discussion about “the government“ is really just not helpful. It’s much more fair to be specific about which agency in which level you’re talking about. The federal government? The state government? The Metro government? County government? Your local township or village or city government? Which agency? Government agencies are not bad inherently. Government is run by our fellow citizens and they are working hard to try to provide services for citizens like keeping the roads clear of snow and providing help to low income citizens and making sure that tax revenue is accounted for so that the services can be paid for, and providing an education to children which doubles as a babysitting service, and recreational opportunities and parks at all levels, so beware of anybody who demonizes the government without being specific about what particular branch of government and agency is being referred to because the government is far from perfect, but it’s far from being evil as welland there are plenty of people who benefit from the government on one hand, well demonizing it out of their mouth which is hypocritical. We all benefit so might as well be fair and there’s lots of Americans, who work for a government agency or partnership organization.

Everyone needs to beable to stand on your own two feet if you cant run a farm without government money or store or being a plumber all bussiness no questions . That why all goverments around world are failing giving out money they dont have. Its not tax payers job to fund business. That way we cut taxes for everyone....... Yippee 1:07:34

Again the federal reserve, and various agencies in the various levels of government are not out there as the bogeyman. I don’t see why people who are financially well off should get any government stimulus when the whole idea was to help people who are struggling. Now, in a pandemic, when somebody’s high income has been shut off because the, federal or state government has ordered everybody to quarantine, that’s a different situation, and everybody who is effective definitely needs to have their ability to pay their bills maintained, and since the government instituted the lockdown, then the government needs to make people whole, but in general stimulus is usually for people who are below a certain income who are struggling financially, which is fair and correct. The wealthy, and the rich don’t need to be financially taken care of by people who earned less than them.

  • @Freedomsterfire

The entire conceit or idea of emissions is bunk. Shifting around the blame of who emits this and that is the wrong framing. They’re framing farming. Of course we should aim to be good stewards of nature, but CO2 is plant food and also happens to be what we all exhale. The spectrums of sunlight that CO2 “traps” are finite thus more CO2 doesn’t necessarily amplify the effect. Further, our atmosphere is 0.03% CO2 and when it gets below 0.02% plant life begins to die. The “worst case projections” from UN/COP, etc. show CO2 concentrations reaching 0.04%, so what are we talking about again?? Before you know it, they’re gonna look at you and I to say maybe we’re all emitting too much CO2. Maybe masking was a practice run - you can’t exhale if you can’t inhale.

The currency is controlled by the federal reserve banking cartel, which is not the government. It’s in cahoots with the United States treasury, but it’s controlled by a banking cartel. No country wants their currency undercut because that would be very bad for everybody and so it makes sense that cryptocurrencies would be challenged since they are challenging the “Federal Reserve” which is neither Federal nor has reserves.

"IT'S NOT FAIR THAT YOU HAVE SO MUCH MONEY WHEN I'M JUST SCRAPING BY!" But...I work 12-14 hours a day. How many do you work? "I WORK 35 HOURS A WEEK!" I can do that standing on my head! And they complain that I'm barely ever round...because I'm always working. Hmm...there has got to be something about that, right?

Farming is a big contribution to climate change. It does need to get better. But shutting down farms is not how you do it. Use the dam money in investment on better ways. Methane capture to heat buildings, cleaner engines, even hydrogen combustion engines, better water and spray management all are better options. Still producing but cutting our effects.
Every industry needs investment to be better. From farming to concrete to trucking. Not eliminate emissions but cut them enough to create balance

CO2 is only 0.04% of the atmosphere and is literally plant food. Fact check it.
