    2:20 Lol what helped me when I was changing my oil pan was using a breaker bar and the jack’s handle rod for leverage and using my whole foot.

    I thought I had to shave as well, instead, I moved the four bolts on the mounting plate at the block, compressed the two ends in a vice slid the mounting plate over, and away you go. I imagine they machine these to fit precise

    What year is your civic? I have read maybe the fitment clearance is possibly only an issue with the 06 model?

    I’m sure you know by now, when changing mounts level the car it will save you hours of time and frustration. I’ve wat h videos on here that group of people took 4 to 5 hours while doing other bolt ons. I level my can and change it in 20 minutes

      Also don’t forget to support the engine with the jack and a piece of wood or some kind of buffer between the jack on the oil pan

    great video - thanks! Do you get any drone around 4-5.5k with no throttle? My stock FA5 has terrible drone with my 62a hasport rear mount.

      I usually don’t rev my car above 4k unless I’m driving aggressively but no I didn’t experience an increase in drone from the mount.

    Did it cause some sort of a pull to the right when you're cruising?

    Thanks for the review man💪🏽 definitely buying this now, curious if the alpha headers tap? Or this solved the problem aswell

      I have a Ktuned/PLM style header so I can’t speak for the Alpha header, but mine didn’t hit before nor after.

    How much you shave off? I just ordered mine so I want to get it done before I start the replacing process

      Not sure exactly, but if I had to guess I shaved about 2mm’s off each side.

    dude your first gear revved up so fucking fast, is that your tune or do you have a lightweight flywheel? What do you have done to the car? Its fucking sick!

    • @npvfa5
      @npvfa5  2 года назад

      Stock tune has something called throttle dampening in first gear. An aftermarket tune will disable this and give you instant throttle response. The car has an oem flywheel to my knowledge. I recently got state ref’d so the car is now back to completely stock :(.

      @@npvfa5 damn dude I’m sorry to hear that, that fucking suuucks! State refs are bullshit :(
