@@Hanasdiyhome I think you missed the point! Subway tile is NOT a trend..... it's classic and timeless. Look at 100 year old kitchens..... subway tile!
Some great looking kitchens here. I especially like the green one with the range hood vent exposed, elbowed across the wall. Great all around idea foe me.
If people wait long enough, almost every style returns to popularity, at least for a while. It’s best to live with the look you love, keeping in mind that over the top styles might be off-putting to prospective buyers should the time come to sell your house.
I have a colour called Moleskin on my cupboards for 20yrs and looking at your photos looks like I’m now in fashion for 2024 😂 I’m a tren setter 😂😂😂 by the way love your videos you’re an amazing woman empowering others. ❤
I love the idea of open marble shelves with brass brackets, however I probably have to let my husband have his touches of wood too. I can have my brass in the pulls and faucet and lighting.
I think that the palest beige, cool-toned cabinets might be next cabinet color for our new-build kitchen if they have it. That is the darkest I would go. I will pair it with a pale blue island and gold/brass hardware. The only thing is that with new builds, they aren't necessarily going to offer a wall oven with a choice of brass handle and those appliances might have to stay all stainless. Then, I think I will add natural wood where I can such as open shelving and on the edge off the hood vent and probably add in a small herb garden for the greenery.
When discussing appliances with facings that blend with the cabinets, you didn’t mention how costly that will be. My daughter and her husband bought a house that had a built in, wood paneled refrigerator. When the fridge approached its end of life, they contacted the manufacturer in order to obtain a new fridge designed to match the designated space. The new fridge cost more than triple the amount of a stainless fridge of the same size and quality. It took nearly a year to build and deliver the new fridge. I’m not saying that hidden appliances aren’t nice, but they can be very pricey and difficult to obtain.
Hana, I love how you take the time to share what colors the selections are down to the color code with the paint companies. I think that helps the homeowners so much. Thanks for the video- your emphasis on aesthetics adds so much to what a homeowner is wanting in the end. 6:17 ❤ the ‘no depth, 0 cubic foot’ fridge 😂 that backs into the hallway. I agree that HW in the kitchen is lovely.
What a well edited & narrated vid! Swiss coffee just became a top contender for my kitchen cabinets.
Swiss coffee is one of the easiest warm white to work with. My trim and doors are painted Swiss coffee.

Dark wood with the lighter cream or white counter tops is so beautiful!

I agree a kitchen should be functional but we should be designing kitchens that are current so ppl don’t feel like they wasted their hard earned money

Thank you for saying this. I just moved to Georgia and being bombarded with the designers idea while at the ssme time making me feel small

I think subway tiles are classic and will NEVER go out of style
Personally, I think the trend is over. But to each their own

Just the word "Subway" is a deterrent for me. I can admire them in other peoples spaces but I just can't.

Yes!! I love when that happens!! Everything comes back in style eventually.. kinda like how flares are back in!
Floating/open shelves look great in magazines but not real life
Shelving in the kitchen that is heavily used means more dusting and cleaning.
So true! It’s a trade off
open shelves mean dusty dishes!@@Hanasdiyhome
I read an article that basically said everything she chose as in-style was totally out-of-style. Do what makes you happy with your space. Bottom line.
That’s true! Whatever you choose, always pick it because you love it
I had open shelving for my plates at a rental years ago. It got so dirty so quickly and I hated it. I’d never put that into my own home
That’s so annoying. Definitely something to think about
Agreed.
Too much dust in dry Colorado to ever consider open shelving :)
“Maybe” the bathroom
Thanks for sharing👏🏽👍🏽
Subway tile is ageless

Do you have info on the kitchen done with ikea? The tall uppers I need!!!
Yes! All the sources are linked in the description. Look for Erin Zubot Designs
Hello,I loved your video. What would you call the design style at 7:29. I love to look for more inspiration along that style.
It can be called transitional or organic modern. I’m sure you’ll find a lot of inspo on Pinterest.
Love the color on the cabinets. Not a fan of polished chrome or brass. Love love love waterfall islands! Great video thank you!
I’m so glad!! Take what you need and make it your own. These are just suggestions
Love my new green cabinets...scary to make that choice initially. Turned out wonderful.
Def it’s a huge decision! I’m so glad you love it
We are installing sage cabinets with butcher block
Great list Hana! Thanks.
God bless you 🎉
No Sug subway tile is timeless. Here we have another internet cut , paste, and recite "blogger".
No, sorry to say they are out
what are the green colors paint name ? Looking for a nice green sage color but don't know the names of good ones! Thank you!
Evergreen fog (SW) and sage wisdom (BM) are my favs!
I did my cabinets beige..
I change my kitchen every season!
😮 good for you!
I literally could never!!!
@@forannies Just being sarcastic. I do not follow any trend. Just go by my eye.

How much did the cabinet doors cost?
Very useful! We’re currently designing our new kitchen and have already incorporated some of these tips.
That’s such a big project!! Send me pics when you’re done
floating shelves can look beautiful, but I don't like to always be dusting
Love the way this was presented but these trends are more 2022/2022, and some are already on the way out
Which ones would you say are out?

Shelving instead of doors
I think I included floating shelves! Agreed
Wszystkie są takie piękne.
Yuk ivory for cabinets looks dirty!!!!
"The subway tile is going to be a thing of the past." Just like death and taxes. 🤣
All these kitchens are huge. When you have a small kitchen almost all these so called trends won’t work
Waterfall island is out and black is overdone. The open concept is no more popular, instead a big table instead of an island.
I disagree. And island is an important part of the kitchen’s function with extra storage and prep area

floating shelves = dusty & fly pooped dishes, the need for perfectly organized attractive dishes, not enough storage space, not great functionality.
Please slow down you talk too fast
Absolutely 👍

I'm buying A new home with black cabinets! Not loving them!
An inexpensive way to change them is to paint them!
