I think they like Mikey because he’s the perfect straight man. His job is more about reacting to the craziness than actually being crazy. Like, during that Kristen Stewart beanie sketch, his facial expressions were what made the jokes land.
Mikey and Melissa are both really important. Just that Mikey falls into more of a trope of a character and they struggle with Melissa. This, the awkward bed partner, the child genius, the daughter of Satan, the Oscar expert, she's rocked it at all of them, but they haven't tuned in to her yet.

For me the funniest line was “ok I think we’ve covered being loose” but I love the whole thing 😂
