My guess is that it’s a line lock because it slowed down Leroy and started just ripping smoke. Either that or like the dude below said it’s some sort of anti lag system

Man i feel so bad for cooper.. he always looks/seems bored. cant blame him tho since he seems to get left out of the actual car fun. He's more of just a bystandard/secondary camera angle. I'm usually the one in his shoes... damn wheelchair tends to exclude me from a lot of the fun others have. So i'm just stuck on the other side of the wall watching... from a horrible angle/perspective. (usually to low and asshats block my view of anything)

Kevin Phillips I think he’d need more than 275 horsepower. Knowing him he’d want a V8 and most modern V8’s put out well above 275 HP

Dear Cleetus,
The Dale Truck would be an excellent candidate for a drift build. It's already got a nice stiff and light chassis, and would only require some simple suspension tuning to be pretty damn well set up for drift. Please consider.
could be awesome.. BUT will drift just like the cart, impossible to drive
Not really, for a number of reasons: Leroy is turbocharged, so the torque curve is not very linear even on wastegate pressure, making it hard to predict power output and steer with the throttle. In contrast, The Dale Truck has an n/a LS1 in it, which has about the most linear torque curve known to man. Leroy also still has production Corvette suspension in it, with coilovers set up for drag racing, which is not what you need for drift. The Dale Truck, however, being a racecar, has fully adjustable racing suspension in it so its alignment settings, damping settings and spring rates can be easily tuned for drift. I'm also almost certain the Dale Truck is much lighter than Leroy, and for these reasons the Dale Truck could be a pretty sick drift car.

The Dale trunk is far from a good candidate for a drift build, it would take a lot more work then some simple suspension tuning to get it to drift well and even then I don't think it would ever be a easy car to drift.

OMG! You're supposed to push in the clutch when you pull the handbrake?! That makes so much sense now! No drift tutorial video that I've seen has mentioned that! That's going to help me so much. Literally getting ready to go to my drift spot right now for a bit before work!
Practice not using the break. Learn without it first. Much better

Yea, when you are pulling the handbrake on a RWD car you're essentially bringing the drivetrain to a hault. If it's truly locked up the car in theory would stall. Practice clutching in whenever you handbrake and lightly dumping the clutch with some throttle to resume drift :)
