Did you order the maquette directly from Tweeterhead or through Sideshow? I'm interested in the life-size He-man bust and I'm not sure if I should order it from Tweeterhead, from Sideshow or from a local dealer. From what I've heard, Tweeterhead or Sideshow delivers way ahead of the traditional dealers. I would also like this maquette very much. The Power Con preview images of the Skeletor & Panthor maquette look promising.
Tweeterhead no longer does international trade, all their trade from other countries than US are forwarded to Sideshow. I personally purchased all the Tweeterhead MOTU pieces from local eshop, as postage from US is quite high (plus VAT plus customs). Especially if you do not need EX version.
Can I ask you something? Are both parts of the Statue Resin? Battlecat and He-man. Or is Battlecat PVC? I heard the base and Battlecat are hollow and not full Resin. Is He-Man also hollow or is he fully Resin cast?
I really hate the base, it's too plain. PO'd it too but I think I will cancel and keep my 1/4 Set from PCS. I wished they would have done some more details like on the PCS one...
I actually like this base better. 😄 Agreed that pcs battlecat is a bit more detailed, but all in all I like this better because He man is better. Do t line the mixed media on the pcs one😄
The mixed media is very well done on the pcs one, normally I don't like mixed media too. Furthermore they could have added a "non helmet" head, I think they could have done so much more with it... But glad you like it mate and great MOTU collection =)@@77Skeletor
