Jazz fans! This is my all-time favorite version of the standard, "Birdland". Freddie just kills it! And what about Allyn's arrangement, complete with a tuba doubling the bass! ....yes I was also very enthusiastic when I found this tape as mp4 in the net...I saw the video tape ones at the Berkle college of Music in Boston...and it has blown me away at my study time there...marvelouse production...late Freddie was soooo incredible cool .& playing so wonderful here ....and great late Allyn did a wonderful job on the whole LP...
