The Shell was my first tank robot and it has served me very well over time. I'm not using it at the moment because I'm trying to level up sonic weapons for my Dredd Shell. The Luchador may be the pick of the Champion League players but boy, the Murometz when set up properly, can come in very handy.
The son of Arthur is here. Shell is so strong and tough though Bio weapons or explode weapons will wipe it out of the game but still great if you play carfully and with a fit set up! _👍_
Thank you Adrian for this guide! Personally, I think the Shell is very powerful and a very good tank! I run a dread shell with a wasp drone. But I think devastator and scatter have too much reload time and you can easily die to many opponents. Blazes and Ember or Scalds and Incinerator might be a better choice because with the blazes and Ember you have an amazing damage output with area damage which bypasses shields. Scalds and Incinerators do insane damage with energy and physical shield bypass and defense bypass.
I wouldn't use the Wasp because the Wasp is more of an offensive drone. If you look at the chips it has an attack one, circle and two triangle slots. The circle is for an effect such as Lockdowner, Suppressor, Freezer (or Control Resistor) and the triangle slots are for damage chips. The problem you'll face is when you run into a Shell with a Nebula or Whiteout - they have square slots and that allows the Shell to get resistance like the T-Falcon. Actually I believe it's more than the T-Falcon. Once you factor in all the defence points I believe it's around 70% if not higher. I remember when I use to run that combination on Hellburner some players thought I was cheating because my Hellburner never took damage. In your case instead of using the Wasp you're better off using Discus, Nebula, Whiteout, Ironhearth, Persephone.

I think for the Shell I prefer Devastator-Scatter. When Hammer and Cudgel come out then that would probably be my preferred setup as it helps against Revenants. Hope this helps!

Great video. I run a dread shell. I have chip that gives plus 35% damage while on battle born, with devastator scatter. It’s very deadly for 20 seconds. 3 blast charge nuclear amp fast also.
I wouldn't use the Drew Tompkins pilot personally. My reason? The Misaki pilot on Khepri protects the Khepri from Freeze, Suppression and Lockdown whenever Khepri uses it's ability. The same applies to Revenant. That means you're ok as long as you don't face Revenant and Khepri but unfortunately at least in Champion League that's pretty much the meta. Hope this makes sense.
@@adrianchong it makes sense. Timing is everything. I like suppression a lot. It works well for me. I love running into enemy groups and suppressing the whole group especially titans. I have both pilots but when you work on timing ur attacks, suppression works very well for you and the teammates fighting next to you. Im running nebula drones with gold tips and advanced heal definitely helps keep you going. I enjoy your videos. See ya on the battlefield buddy. All shall die!
Adrian I loved my shell, I used a reviver drone and it worked beautifully, but I took it out recently because it was getting targeted by all the bendy weapons so ppl could charge up their nuclear amplifier, man sometimes it felt like even my teammates were shooting me 😂
You won't survive long using that drone with the Shell - that one is more for healing but the problem with Shell is that. you need both healing but more specifically you need the resistance or square chips. In fact you could probably use a Reviver with T4 chips and I could use a Discus with the T3 chips and would probably win because it's THAT much of a difference.
@@adrianchong believe it or not I actually used to survive surprisingly long and it does have a square chip, I hear u and understand what ur saying, my point is, whether I use a nebula, discuss, or even both at the same time, the focus from the homing machine guns to fill up the nuclear amplifier is ridiculous when I use my shell now

You welcome! Yes it makes a big difference knowing what chips to go for or even modules for that matter because those can be heavy costs for "testing". There was another viewer (not sure if it was you) who recently told me he saved well over 20,000 Gold because he didn't know what chips to create - he was combining the wrong ones and wasting a lot of gold. That's just for one bot too so technically I would be saving him over 100,000 Gold if we're looking at all 5 robots.
You can use it but the Linda Cano is definitely better. Also the Misaki pilot for Khepri protects Khepri against Suppression, Lockdown and Freeze effects - if you're trying to suppress with Dew Tompkins it won't be as effective. Hope this helps!

@@luiszhu2122 I would go with River Chase. That extra damage boost of +25% although even for 5 seconds is quite significant - it's also a better all round pilot as all weapons will benefit from it. With Rose Lin it tends to be better suited for shotgun-type builds like Havoc or I guess the new shotgun weapons Mace. Hope this answers your question.
I would love to see vids like this with players using MK1 gear. Like the highest thing i have is MK1 level 11 and I don't know how many times I beat MK3 geared people, but its hard and needs to be addressed.
If you watch my Baby Account you'll notice my Fenrir build is almost identical to the Secrets Revealed for Fenrir (my Baby Account runs an MK1 level 6 Fenrir). There is no difference whether it's low level or high level. The "secret" really is in the combination which players don't seem to understand. To explain things in a simpler way. Let's consider the following: MK3 Shell Pilot skills all maxed Modules all maxed BUT wrong modules Wrong drone with all T4 maxed chips but WRONG chips MK2 level 1 Shell Pilot level 50 Modules level 4 (not maxed) but RIGHT combination Discus drone with T3 chips (not maxed) but RIGHT combination In the above scenario, I would rather run the MK2 level 1 Shell. In fact there's a high likelihood it will kill the MK3 Shell just because it has the right modules and drone chips. I hope you understand the above and why I put out these videos - it's to help the lower level players understand that combinations are everything in this game. It also helps you to plan your builds and save resources. Me making the video at MK1 level 11 will serve no purpose because it's similar to me showing the Ao Jun vs Hawk. The Ao Jun may perform better at Mk1 level 11 vs Hawk but at MK3 the Hawk outshines the Ao Jun. My question to you would then be… would you rather upgrade something you know works very well at max level or one which works only at Mk1 level 11? Your answer would most likely be to go for the Hawk since you know it works very well at MK3.
I'm surprised you don't use the "On Repair: fix 35%" chips for the D slots. I assume though that it's because Shell has most of its HP on its sheild so the "On Mild Damage" chips would actually get utilized more?
Thx Adrian again!! My Cano Dread has 2x max fortifiers and L3 Last Stand and the Nebula drone. I run max Glacier/Rime weapons - should I swap to Sonics, I have 2 Devastators in reserve and could build the Scatters? Or put the Devs on Orochi as the Hels now gone so weak? 👍
I wouldn't use Fortifiers on the Shell. While it helps to strengthen the physical shields, if the enemy is running Blaze, Igniter, Ember it will bypass and go through anyways. Having stronger physical shields also helps to charge up the enemy's Nuclear Amplifiers - even though I know I used that pilot skill on my Shell, it was more to help me get to beacons as I knew it would be shredded up anyways. In terms of your weapons I would consider running either Ember-Blaze or Devastator-Scatter. Both of these builds are incredibly good against Revenants. When the new weapons Hammer and Cudgel come out then I would use those instead. Hope this helps!
The only way to get out of Low Priority Queue is to play every game. The reason why you ended up there is because you most likely were leaving games because you didn't like the map or your teammates.
When you chose to use on mild and High Dmg repair, why would you choose those over the on repair fix%? Is it because the mild and High trigger multiple times? Wouldn't the repair fix with the on repair defense also be good? Thanks for all the info
I use those more because it will activate at different intervals. If you find On Repair Fix works for you then definitely use it. I think a while back when I use to run Ravana I used that chip.
The main reason that the high league don't use Shell is because everybody use weapons that bypass phsical shields like toxic weapons, flame throwers, incinerator, scorcher, scald, firestorm of those harpys. The shell is basically a free robot that recharge the Nuclear Amplifier of the enemy
We're actually starting to see the Shell coming back. What you mentioned with the weapons and also the Nuclear Amplifiers is true but also the Orochi was one of the main factors. Since Orochi was nerfed, Shell has started to come back especially the Shell-Khepri combo. The Shell has an area blast which helps against the enemy's Khepris as it bumps them off beacons.
No - this is a common mistake many players make. Right now in the current meta a lot of players are running Blaze, Igniter, Ember which bypasses right through physical shields. Also players usually target Shells to charge up their Nuclear Amplifiers so having the Fortifier would actually help in charging your opponents Nuclear Amplifiers. Once they're charged (the enemy) they will end up doing even more damage to you. When the Shell was meta and when I ran one against top players, I always ran the Shell with Nuclear Amplifier and Balanced Units along with Nebula - it was one of the strongest Shell builds back then and is still strong now. I sometimes also used Anticontrol but that was more if I was using the Shell as a beacon runner as it helped against being locked down.
@@adrianchong I see, so the purpose was not only to strengthen own bot but also hamper the enemy strength. That didn't cross my mind at all. So that means now Fortifier only effective on bots with Aegis. Got it, thanks for the tips.
@@AangDknight I think for the current meta yes - for example it works well on the Typhon but then you also have the Harpy and Siren with the Yang Lee which can bypass it. It's a good module to have but it's not used much in high level Champion League.
@@AangDknight The fortifier is a module made for the Bulwark, I put 2 fortifier on my typhon and it worked great,. A detail that most player don't know is that the fortifier module also increase the HP of the yellow shield of the battlechip MANTIS.
If you're referring to "Creators" as in RUclipsrs then many of us are also part of the Creator Program. Depending on our channel's performance it also dictates what we get but usually we use our own resources to level things up. That's no different than running into an S-ranked clan that has maxed out their accounts with the new content. Some tell me "well that's cheating because it gets given to me and they have to spend" - the same goes for many of those accounts I mentioned in S-ranked clans being shared.

I know you said always pick the percent but what happens cuz I don't know if you get hit by the devastator and the Sonic weapons and you only have 50% of possible health then 18% of that would be less then 30,000 is that how that works
It will then recover 18% of whatever your health is at that point. I know players will be tempted to go for something like the 30,000 health which makes sense for a lower health bot BUT… one always has to plan for the future so it's assumed at some point you'll be upgrading those bots where eventually it will make a difference. By planning ahead you'll cut down on overall Gold costs because if you combined the T2 chips for the fixed amount eventually at some point you'll have to create the same chip for "%" which is another 1300 Gold. I always say… if you're going to do anything it's best to do it right the first time if possible so that you don't waste your time (and in this case resources too). Hope this makes sense.
Yes it's still very deadly. I was getting quite a few kills using it but it's even more effective when you have Khepris linking to you as you do more damage with the blast.
I just got a dread shell but I don’t know what robot should I change because I had already have an avenger ao jun - pulsar magnetar ares - 1 flame + 1 bane orochi - ice laze hawk - ice laze + tarran fafnir so any advices to change pls?(I also have 3 incinderator and a glacial with a rime and a toxin and a blaze)
This is all relative as it depends on the strength of your opponent. As a general rule-of-thumb though. If your robot is level 8, try to get your weapons 2-3 levels higher. If you follow my Baby Account series you'll notice I do this with all my builds. Hope this helps!

Shells get smoked immediately, charges thier nuclear immediately, and fire power is low, I might max out a hades, he is fast and can capture beacons , or maybe turn my 500k revenant to s t revenant with 800k and make him a beacon runner, btw why don't you do (is t revenant worth using now ? I have an idea here, since the update, now that the behemoth can move with all four weapons, why not make the Weyland moveable too, but maybe change it's healing skill as well, like instead of being a stationary healer it can jump and when it lands it gives a big healing pulse (or maybe multiple who knows and maybe heal some grey dmg, leave it to your imagination) and stays constant like the Tyr or maybe just for a few extra seconds (not too much of a few seconds, idk) therefore making the Weyland like an invader and Tyr hybrid or something. Just a thought... Ok suggestion.
I completely don’t understand this level of the game I left the game in 2016-2017 I think I was here from the beginning where the gi-Patton with four magnum or four aphid was op now I don’t understand lol
If only u knew 6 durability skills and 1 healing would be a much better setup because u wouldn't need to rely on speed and healing to win That combined with whiteout provides protection against an entire team. Easily combined with 1 nuclear amplifier and 2 immune the shell would be way stronger than the invader. I myself totally believe the physical shield makes all rather the difference because like I said earlier, the invader is already taking damage before the shell has even taken a dent that is if everything I already know about meta weapons is that they are all mostly consistent in of energy. Meaning the only way to actually stop the shell would be to use explosives then again it can be easily countered with pushing the entire enemy team into thier home base during domination that way everyone focuses on you meanwhile your team captures the beacons and its game over. I've done this far too many times with the invader and yet without a drone I still managed to kill on average 7-8 players all while my teammates capture the beacons to win victory. All it takes is someone who spends money, you ain't going to beat someone who spends more than you and it's really not pay to win, because if it were everyone would be buying stuff. The truth is you can either play the game and spend money or just outright lose to people who chose to spend thier money to win at all costs the choice is all yours. Not only do u get the most credit you have your teamtes doing all the other work for your victory without hesitation. Isn't that nice? You get all the credit and they finish it off?
@@adrianchong Holy, so I just did the math and it turns out the shell has 7000 more hp than my mk3 invader with 2x max armour kits and 1 immune amplifier, can u imagine a shell having 817000 hp? Not to mention a physical shield of 1.375 million hp and we haven't even talked about drones I guarantee the bot would be indestructible if u used the rhino drone with it. All together that's literally 2.197 million hp counting with the physical shield. Now if u factor in 3 repair modules you can repair 75% of that in another words that's nearly 1.5 million hp the enemy has to do to kill it now assuming you use a white drone the healing on that will make it even more impossible as well as the very fact of not being able to use abilities either, I know I sound crazy but I actually want to try this build now. I have a feeling this will counter the revenant because it has the same amount of weapon damage output
@@39x58 Yes I know what you mean regarding not being able to test things if you don't have it but sometimes also even if you did have it, these things aren't as obvious. This is why I mentioned a few times in my live streams that this game is almost like a science. It's not just simply using money to max things out because against the top players this won't cut it. Top players not only know the numbers but they're highly skilled with their equipment - both at using it and employing strategies/tactics with other builds. Not sure if that makes sense? A good example… you can have one player who is convinced everything is pay2win so they max out a Skyros because it's hard to kill in ball mode and has high resistance. They then run into a squad made up of top players. The top players don't run Skyros - instead they're running Khepri and Hawk or Khepri and Seraph. Why? Because they've figured out that by linking the Hawk or Seraph it gets to a beacon faster than the Skyros. See the difference? Also the Shell build which you mentioned might have a lot of health but it also charges up Nuclear Amplifiers very quickly. Any robot with physical shields will charge a Nuclear Amplifier up to 95 stacks incredibly fast. In other words you'd be giving the enemy the opportunity to charge up to +76% more damage which they would then use on you. By you having more health also means it boosts their damage scores. This is also why you don't really see the Shell or even the Revenant much because the Revenant also has physical shields and is actually tankier than the Shell.

I gratefully appreciate you taking time out of your day to talk to me it was a pleasure to meet one of the best players thank you this truly means alot to me... and what I was trying to actually say is that you can pretty easily get away with it in lower leagues because the people you face are using equipment that is hardly even upgraded, that's what I was trying to say. The other day I also found out what makes a tank a tank it's not the high hp it's the pilot skills that are constantly healing it. Another rule I learned while at school was no matter how strong you may be a group will always destroy individuals just because of the sheer amount of numbers and damage they can do at once, that being said do you mind playing a few matches with me? The sad part is that many don't see the value in these videos - you mentioned you can't afford the setups but what you don't realize is that I'm literally handing you "the keys" to building a stronger bot by minimizing the overall cost. What do I mean by minimizing the overall cost? By knowing which chips and modules to go for, that alone can save you literally thousands of gold. For example when most are using their gold to combine drone chips not knowing what to do, I know exactly which combinations work best. I then make sure to use saved gold to purchase 10x On Repair Unit: Defence chips (just an example) for a cost of 1100 which I will then combine it for 1300 Gold to give me a T3 chip. If you look at my Baby Account which is 100% free, I have 2x On Repair Unit: Defense, On Mild Damage: Absorber and a Freezer chip on my Fenrir - all of them T3 chips (purple chips). I accomplished that all for free - no money spent whatsoever. The biggest difference you will see though is when you go up against a maxed player that doesn't know what they're doing. I've taken out MK3 players running the wrong drones and probably the wrong chips too using an MK1 level 6 robot with the right weapons, right drone and right drone chips. There's a reason why that account often times out scores Mk2 and MK3 players with a much weaker hangar - it's not by luck but more because I understand what to go for and make sure I'm efficient as possible with my resources.
That whiteout drone is seriously over powered it should have been triangle and absorber only in my opinion ...that's gonna be fun with an army of khepri.. .... ..... .... ... My equivalent to mayday
The fact that the main characteristic of the shell, the shields aren't even used in higher leagues because they are kinda useless at that level. 😅 In lower leagues, the shields play much bigger role. But, with the homing bullets, acid weapons and upcoming blast shotguns. One should probably not use shell right now.
They're actually not too bad. To get a T3 chip it's 1300 - that's buying 10x T2 chips and the combine cost. If you bought that exact same chip from the store as a T3 the cost is 2250 Gold. It's expensive for those who are impatient. This is probably why so many think I spent money on my Baby Account because I have multiple T3 chips. When everyone is spending 2250 Gold for a T3 chip I'm spending 1300 for the exact same one. The difference? I'm patient and wait until the right one comes before purchasing it.
Nah. That's what F2P players keep saying. What they don't realize is that even if they had maxed gear they'd still be weak because they don't understand modules and drones/drone chips. That's why my Baby Account which uses level 6 bots often outscores Champion players.
I can't stand cheaters and with classify a cheater in today's society is people that spend thousands of dollars on a game otherwise have no skills and rely on brute gang strength worthless I hope everyone end up in a situation like. Dot hack sign.
Not sure where you're going with this comment. If I showed you what modules and drone chips you can use to help strengthen a Shell which you may have built in Workshop or won or perhaps your Shell is currently struggling, in many cases it's most likely the combinations you're using. If you're familiar with my Baby Account - even though it receives so much hate from the community (probably because it's 100% free and players hate seeing it perform better than some MK2 and MK3 players), one of the reasons it performs well is because I have a pretty solid grasp of what drone chips work. Here's an example of how much of a difference it can make. Shell which is completely maxed out MK3 with pilot and Wasp drone with drone chips can LOSE to a player who has an MK2 Shell, a pilot and modules not maxed out but having the right Drone such as Nebula or even Discus using the RIGHT drone chips. Yes it makes THAT much of a difference. The cost? NOTHING.
I don't like players who wins just because they have spent money. It is just impossible to have this profile in the game outside having spent f.. money you surely never hard worked for. First time I was seeing repairing modules(never got any) and I have been playing about 5 years...all my robots are MK3. You win because you have money. Become a man, play without cheating.
If you have truly been playing for 5 years as you have mentioned, you will know that Repair Amplifiers have only been out for maybe 1-2 months. This is why as an ALTERNATIVE I showed the Nuclear Amplifier with two Balanced Units. However… this is beside the point because you could still build a solid Shell using even something like a Nuclear Reactor with Armor Kits. Sure it might not be the best but I can guarantee you that even using that combination with the RIGHT drone chips will make a difference to your Shell build compared to if you had the wrong combination. I hope you see this because if you've been following my channel, I have almost identical builds on my Baby Account which is 100% free. Its also why quite often I outscore players with MK2 or MK3 equipment using only MK 1 level 6. It's because I'm using the right module combinations but moreso the right drone chip combinations. You say to "become a man" but I think it's more you saying that out of frustration. I have both created an account from scratch (Baby Account) which is 100% free. I took it from Recruit League straight through to Champion League with no money spent (this is what players wanted to see so I did it). I also played that account live for everyone to see but unfortunately it received a lot of hate and low views (which is why I don't show it much now). I suspect the reason why is because those who criticized me hated seeing me actually do it in real time and to witness it being done without cheating and no money spent made them furious. I have also participated in Hangar X tournaments numerous times against the best in the world on iOS using Hangar X where everyone runs the same level equipment and have finished in the top 3 in all occasions. I have also broken two world records in damage and squad damage vs players who are maxed out - for anyone to doubt my skill as a player at this point then I wish them luck in the game. What I offer on my channel is to help those players take their game to the next level, whether it be free or whether they have the resources to do it. That is it. Nothing more, nothing less.
This is all a bit ironic, because the way you are talking is clearly aimed at complete beginners but the gear you are talking about is all top tier that they would have to have spent hundreds of dollars on🤣
Not sure what you mean? You can build Shell in Workshop, the same with Devastator and Scatter. It costs a total of 1300 Gold to get the right chip to T3 (instead of paying 2250 from the store). I did a similar build for my Fenrir on my Baby Account. Guess how much it cost me? Nothing - 100% FREE.

I think for the Shell I prefer Devastator-Scatter. When Hammer and Cudgel come out then that would probably be my preferred setup as it helps against Revenants. Hope this helps!

Great video. I run a dread shell. I have chip that gives plus 35% damage while on battle born, with devastator scatter. It’s very deadly for 20 seconds. 3 blast charge nuclear amp fast also.

Great stuff, I personally like the suppression pilot better. I also run 1 of each of the special 10% shells. Fun bots to run with nebula.
I wouldn't use the Drew Tompkins pilot personally. My reason? The Misaki pilot on Khepri protects the Khepri from Freeze, Suppression and Lockdown whenever Khepri uses it's ability. The same applies to Revenant. That means you're ok as long as you don't face Revenant and Khepri but unfortunately at least in Champion League that's pretty much the meta. Hope this makes sense.
@@adrianchong it makes sense. Timing is everything. I like suppression a lot. It works well for me. I love running into enemy groups and suppressing the whole group especially titans. I have both pilots but when you work on timing ur attacks, suppression works very well for you and the teammates fighting next to you. Im running nebula drones with gold tips and advanced heal definitely helps keep you going. I enjoy your videos. See ya on the battlefield buddy. All shall die!
Adrian I loved my shell, I used a reviver drone and it worked beautifully, but I took it out recently because it was getting targeted by all the bendy weapons so ppl could charge up their nuclear amplifier, man sometimes it felt like even my teammates were shooting me 😂
You won't survive long using that drone with the Shell - that one is more for healing but the problem with Shell is that. you need both healing but more specifically you need the resistance or square chips. In fact you could probably use a Reviver with T4 chips and I could use a Discus with the T3 chips and would probably win because it's THAT much of a difference.
@@adrianchong believe it or not I actually used to survive surprisingly long and it does have a square chip, I hear u and understand what ur saying, my point is, whether I use a nebula, discuss, or even both at the same time, the focus from the homing machine guns to fill up the nuclear amplifier is ridiculous when I use my shell now

If you mean "broke" then you can technically build it in Workshop for free. Components are silver so just play and build components towards it.

You welcome! Yes it makes a big difference knowing what chips to go for or even modules for that matter because those can be heavy costs for "testing". There was another viewer (not sure if it was you) who recently told me he saved well over 20,000 Gold because he didn't know what chips to create - he was combining the wrong ones and wasting a lot of gold. That's just for one bot too so technically I would be saving him over 100,000 Gold if we're looking at all 5 robots.

Is the pilot with supression still ok to use on shell?
You can use it but the Linda Cano is definitely better. Also the Misaki pilot for Khepri protects Khepri against Suppression, Lockdown and Freeze effects - if you're trying to suppress with Dew Tompkins it won't be as effective. Hope this helps!

@@luiszhu2122 I would go with River Chase. That extra damage boost of +25% although even for 5 seconds is quite significant - it's also a better all round pilot as all weapons will benefit from it. With Rose Lin it tends to be better suited for shotgun-type builds like Havoc or I guess the new shotgun weapons Mace. Hope this answers your question.
I would love to see vids like this with players using MK1 gear. Like the highest thing i have is MK1 level 11 and I don't know how many times I beat MK3 geared people, but its hard and needs to be addressed.
If you watch my Baby Account you'll notice my Fenrir build is almost identical to the Secrets Revealed for Fenrir (my Baby Account runs an MK1 level 6 Fenrir). There is no difference whether it's low level or high level. The "secret" really is in the combination which players don't seem to understand.
To explain things in a simpler way. Let's consider the following:
MK3 Shell
Pilot skills all maxed
Modules all maxed BUT wrong modules
Wrong drone with all T4 maxed chips but WRONG chips
MK2 level 1 Shell
Pilot level 50
Modules level 4 (not maxed) but RIGHT combination
Discus drone with T3 chips (not maxed) but RIGHT combination
In the above scenario, I would rather run the MK2 level 1 Shell. In fact there's a high likelihood it will kill the MK3 Shell just because it has the right modules and drone chips.
I hope you understand the above and why I put out these videos - it's to help the lower level players understand that combinations are everything in this game. It also helps you to plan your builds and save resources. Me making the video at MK1 level 11 will serve no purpose because it's similar to me showing the Ao Jun vs Hawk. The Ao Jun may perform better at Mk1 level 11 vs Hawk but at MK3 the Hawk outshines the Ao Jun. My question to you would then be… would you rather upgrade something you know works very well at max level or one which works only at Mk1 level 11? Your answer would most likely be to go for the Hawk since you know it works very well at MK3.

I'm surprised you don't use the "On Repair: fix 35%" chips for the D slots. I assume though that it's because Shell has most of its HP on its sheild so the "On Mild Damage" chips would actually get utilized more?
Thx Adrian again!! My Cano Dread has 2x max fortifiers and L3 Last Stand and the Nebula drone. I run max Glacier/Rime weapons - should I swap to Sonics, I have 2 Devastators in reserve and could build the Scatters? Or put the Devs on Orochi as the Hels now gone so weak? 👍
I wouldn't use Fortifiers on the Shell. While it helps to strengthen the physical shields, if the enemy is running Blaze, Igniter, Ember it will bypass and go through anyways. Having stronger physical shields also helps to charge up the enemy's Nuclear Amplifiers - even though I know I used that pilot skill on my Shell, it was more to help me get to beacons as I knew it would be shredded up anyways.
In terms of your weapons I would consider running either Ember-Blaze or Devastator-Scatter. Both of these builds are incredibly good against Revenants. When the new weapons Hammer and Cudgel come out then I would use those instead. Hope this helps!

Depends on your playstyle, I have both of them, I have a dread shell with incinerator and scald, and the typhon with 4 igniter
When you chose to use on mild and High Dmg repair, why would you choose those over the on repair fix%?
Is it because the mild and High trigger multiple times?
Wouldn't the repair fix with the on repair defense also be good?

I use those more because it will activate at different intervals. If you find On Repair Fix works for you then definitely use it. I think a while back when I use to run Ravana I used that chip.
Now I Got My First Shell
The main reason that the high league don't use Shell is because everybody use weapons that bypass phsical shields like toxic weapons, flame throwers, incinerator, scorcher, scald, firestorm of those harpys.
The shell is basically a free robot that recharge the Nuclear Amplifier of the enemy
We're actually starting to see the Shell coming back. What you mentioned with the weapons and also the Nuclear Amplifiers is true but also the Orochi was one of the main factors. Since Orochi was nerfed, Shell has started to come back especially the Shell-Khepri combo. The Shell has an area blast which helps against the enemy's Khepris as it bumps them off beacons.
I think after the last update they buff the shield and nerf the HP. Wouldn't it be better if you use Fortifier ?
No - this is a common mistake many players make. Right now in the current meta a lot of players are running Blaze, Igniter, Ember which bypasses right through physical shields. Also players usually target Shells to charge up their Nuclear Amplifiers so having the Fortifier would actually help in charging your opponents Nuclear Amplifiers. Once they're charged (the enemy) they will end up doing even more damage to you.
When the Shell was meta and when I ran one against top players, I always ran the Shell with Nuclear Amplifier and Balanced Units along with Nebula - it was one of the strongest Shell builds back then and is still strong now. I sometimes also used Anticontrol but that was more if I was using the Shell as a beacon runner as it helped against being locked down.
@@adrianchong I see, so the purpose was not only to strengthen own bot but also hamper the enemy strength. That didn't cross my mind at all. So that means now Fortifier only effective on bots with Aegis. Got it, thanks for the tips.
@@AangDknight I think for the current meta yes - for example it works well on the Typhon but then you also have the Harpy and Siren with the Yang Lee which can bypass it. It's a good module to have but it's not used much in high level Champion League.
@@AangDknight The fortifier is a module made for the Bulwark, I put 2 fortifier on my typhon and it worked great,.
A detail that most player don't know is that the fortifier module also increase the HP of the yellow shield of the battlechip MANTIS.

If you're referring to "Creators" as in RUclipsrs then many of us are also part of the Creator Program. Depending on our channel's performance it also dictates what we get but usually we use our own resources to level things up. That's no different than running into an S-ranked clan that has maxed out their accounts with the new content. Some tell me "well that's cheating because it gets given to me and they have to spend" - the same goes for many of those accounts I mentioned in S-ranked clans being shared.
I have a lot of shells in my hanger, only two of which I've levelled up but I don't even run them anymore.

I know you said always pick the percent but what happens cuz I don't know if you get hit by the devastator and the Sonic weapons and you only have 50% of possible health then 18% of that would be less then 30,000 is that how that works
It will then recover 18% of whatever your health is at that point. I know players will be tempted to go for something like the 30,000 health which makes sense for a lower health bot BUT… one always has to plan for the future so it's assumed at some point you'll be upgrading those bots where eventually it will make a difference. By planning ahead you'll cut down on overall Gold costs because if you combined the T2 chips for the fixed amount eventually at some point you'll have to create the same chip for "%" which is another 1300 Gold. I always say… if you're going to do anything it's best to do it right the first time if possible so that you don't waste your time (and in this case resources too). Hope this makes sense.

Yes it's still very deadly. I was getting quite a few kills using it but it's even more effective when you have Khepris linking to you as you do more damage with the blast.

What about switching orochi with shell and using flame weapons on shell as they are still viable and it will put a good tank in your hangar too

This is all relative as it depends on the strength of your opponent. As a general rule-of-thumb though. If your robot is level 8, try to get your weapons 2-3 levels higher. If you follow my Baby Account series you'll notice I do this with all my builds. Hope this helps!

I have an idea here, since the update, now that the behemoth can move with all four weapons, why not make the Weyland moveable too, but maybe change it's healing skill as well, like instead of being a stationary healer it can jump and when it lands it gives a big healing pulse (or maybe multiple who knows and maybe heal some grey dmg, leave it to your imagination) and stays constant like the Tyr or maybe just for a few extra seconds (not too much of a few seconds, idk) therefore making the Weyland like an invader and Tyr hybrid or something. Just a thought... Ok suggestion.

That combined with whiteout provides protection against an entire team. Easily combined with 1 nuclear amplifier and 2 immune the shell would be way stronger than the invader. I myself totally believe the physical shield makes all rather the difference because like I said earlier, the invader is already taking damage before the shell has even taken a dent that is if everything I already know about meta weapons is that they are all mostly consistent in of energy. Meaning the only way to actually stop the shell would be to use explosives then again it can be easily countered with pushing the entire enemy team into thier home base during domination that way everyone focuses on you meanwhile your team captures the beacons and its game over. I've done this far too many times with the invader and yet without a drone I still managed to kill on average 7-8 players all while my teammates capture the beacons to win victory. All it takes is someone who spends money, you ain't going to beat someone who spends more than you and it's really not pay to win, because if it were everyone would be buying stuff. The truth is you can either play the game and spend money or just outright lose to people who chose to spend thier money to win at all costs the choice is all yours.
Not only do u get the most credit you have your teamtes doing all the other work for your victory without hesitation. Isn't that nice? You get all the credit and they finish it off?

@@adrianchong Holy, so I just did the math and it turns out the shell has 7000 more hp than my mk3 invader with 2x max armour kits and 1 immune amplifier, can u imagine a shell having 817000 hp? Not to mention a physical shield of 1.375 million hp and we haven't even talked about drones I guarantee the bot would be indestructible if u used the rhino drone with it. All together that's literally 2.197 million hp counting with the physical shield. Now if u factor in 3 repair modules you can repair 75% of that in another words that's nearly 1.5 million hp the enemy has to do to kill it now assuming you use a white drone the healing on that will make it even more impossible as well as the very fact of not being able to use abilities either, I know I sound crazy but I actually want to try this build now. I have a feeling this will counter the revenant because it has the same amount of weapon damage output
@@39x58 Yes I know what you mean regarding not being able to test things if you don't have it but sometimes also even if you did have it, these things aren't as obvious. This is why I mentioned a few times in my live streams that this game is almost like a science. It's not just simply using money to max things out because against the top players this won't cut it. Top players not only know the numbers but they're highly skilled with their equipment - both at using it and employing strategies/tactics with other builds. Not sure if that makes sense? A good example… you can have one player who is convinced everything is pay2win so they max out a Skyros because it's hard to kill in ball mode and has high resistance. They then run into a squad made up of top players. The top players don't run Skyros - instead they're running Khepri and Hawk or Khepri and Seraph. Why? Because they've figured out that by linking the Hawk or Seraph it gets to a beacon faster than the Skyros. See the difference?
Also the Shell build which you mentioned might have a lot of health but it also charges up Nuclear Amplifiers very quickly. Any robot with physical shields will charge a Nuclear Amplifier up to 95 stacks incredibly fast. In other words you'd be giving the enemy the opportunity to charge up to +76% more damage which they would then use on you. By you having more health also means it boosts their damage scores. This is also why you don't really see the Shell or even the Revenant much because the Revenant also has physical shields and is actually tankier than the Shell.

I gratefully appreciate you taking time out of your day to talk to me it was a pleasure to meet one of the best players thank you this truly means alot to me... and what I was trying to actually say is that you can pretty easily get away with it in lower leagues because the people you face are using equipment that is hardly even upgraded, that's what I was trying to say. The other day I also found out what makes a tank a tank it's not the high hp it's the pilot skills that are constantly healing it. Another rule I learned while at school was no matter how strong you may be a group will always destroy individuals just because of the sheer amount of numbers and damage they can do at once, that being said do you mind playing a few matches with me? The sad part is that many don't see the value in these videos - you mentioned you can't afford the setups but what you don't realize is that I'm literally handing you "the keys" to building a stronger bot by minimizing the overall cost.
What do I mean by minimizing the overall cost? By knowing which chips and modules to go for, that alone can save you literally thousands of gold. For example when most are using their gold to combine drone chips not knowing what to do, I know exactly which combinations work best. I then make sure to use saved gold to purchase 10x On Repair Unit: Defence chips (just an example) for a cost of 1100 which I will then combine it for 1300 Gold to give me a T3 chip. If you look at my Baby Account which is 100% free, I have 2x On Repair Unit: Defense, On Mild Damage: Absorber and a Freezer chip on my Fenrir - all of them T3 chips (purple chips). I accomplished that all for free - no money spent whatsoever.
The biggest difference you will see though is when you go up against a maxed player that doesn't know what they're doing. I've taken out MK3 players running the wrong drones and probably the wrong chips too using an MK1 level 6 robot with the right weapons, right drone and right drone chips. There's a reason why that account often times out scores Mk2 and MK3 players with a much weaker hangar - it's not by luck but more because I understand what to go for and make sure I'm efficient as possible with my resources.

The fact that the main characteristic of the shell, the shields aren't even used in higher leagues because they are kinda useless at that level. 😅
In lower leagues, the shields play much bigger role. But, with the homing bullets, acid weapons and upcoming blast shotguns. One should probably not use shell right now.

They're actually not too bad. To get a T3 chip it's 1300 - that's buying 10x T2 chips and the combine cost. If you bought that exact same chip from the store as a T3 the cost is 2250 Gold. It's expensive for those who are impatient. This is probably why so many think I spent money on my Baby Account because I have multiple T3 chips. When everyone is spending 2250 Gold for a T3 chip I'm spending 1300 for the exact same one. The difference? I'm patient and wait until the right one comes before purchasing it.
The the only way to play this game is play to pay...us f2p players only can Enjoy this game by watching RUclips🤣🤣🤣

Nah. That's what F2P players keep saying. What they don't realize is that even if they had maxed gear they'd still be weak because they don't understand modules and drones/drone chips. That's why my Baby Account which uses level 6 bots often outscores Champion players.

Not sure where you're going with this comment. If I showed you what modules and drone chips you can use to help strengthen a Shell which you may have built in Workshop or won or perhaps your Shell is currently struggling, in many cases it's most likely the combinations you're using. If you're familiar with my Baby Account - even though it receives so much hate from the community (probably because it's 100% free and players hate seeing it perform better than some MK2 and MK3 players), one of the reasons it performs well is because I have a pretty solid grasp of what drone chips work.
Here's an example of how much of a difference it can make.
Shell which is completely maxed out MK3 with pilot and Wasp drone with drone chips can LOSE to a player who has an MK2 Shell, a pilot and modules not maxed out but having the right Drone such as Nebula or even Discus using the RIGHT drone chips. Yes it makes THAT much of a difference. The cost? NOTHING.

I don't like players who wins just because they have spent money. It is just impossible to have this profile in the game outside having spent f.. money you surely never hard worked for. First time I was seeing repairing modules(never got any) and I have been playing about 5 years...all my robots are MK3. You win because you have money. Become a man, play without cheating.
If you have truly been playing for 5 years as you have mentioned, you will know that Repair Amplifiers have only been out for maybe 1-2 months. This is why as an ALTERNATIVE I showed the Nuclear Amplifier with two Balanced Units. However… this is beside the point because you could still build a solid Shell using even something like a Nuclear Reactor with Armor Kits. Sure it might not be the best but I can guarantee you that even using that combination with the RIGHT drone chips will make a difference to your Shell build compared to if you had the wrong combination. I hope you see this because if you've been following my channel, I have almost identical builds on my Baby Account which is 100% free. Its also why quite often I outscore players with MK2 or MK3 equipment using only MK 1 level 6. It's because I'm using the right module combinations but moreso the right drone chip combinations.
You say to "become a man" but I think it's more you saying that out of frustration. I have both created an account from scratch (Baby Account) which is 100% free. I took it from Recruit League straight through to Champion League with no money spent (this is what players wanted to see so I did it). I also played that account live for everyone to see but unfortunately it received a lot of hate and low views (which is why I don't show it much now). I suspect the reason why is because those who criticized me hated seeing me actually do it in real time and to witness it being done without cheating and no money spent made them furious. I have also participated in Hangar X tournaments numerous times against the best in the world on iOS using Hangar X where everyone runs the same level equipment and have finished in the top 3 in all occasions. I have also broken two world records in damage and squad damage vs players who are maxed out - for anyone to doubt my skill as a player at this point then I wish them luck in the game.
What I offer on my channel is to help those players take their game to the next level, whether it be free or whether they have the resources to do it. That is it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not sure what you mean? You can build Shell in Workshop, the same with Devastator and Scatter. It costs a total of 1300 Gold to get the right chip to T3 (instead of paying 2250 from the store). I did a similar build for my Fenrir on my Baby Account. Guess how much it cost me? Nothing - 100% FREE.
