any% 1 Player 2 Controllers is the main category of this game. It makes use of certain glitches that need the runner to control 2 characters at the same time with 2 controllers. This is a glitch and skip heavy category, features a lot of smart boss strategies and enemy despawn manipulations through specific movement in fields.
This run specifically was the first ever sub 1:41 skipping 1:42 entirely. Even though there are more timesaves in the early and mid game the late game was absolutely amazing.

i wanted to play this game again but my snes is apparently broken. thanks for playing through this so quickly to allow me to enjoy and relive the only good rpg I've ever played besides chrono trigger (sadly could never jump on those jrpg hypetrains). wouldn't have thought that high apm and good menuing could make slow paced games entertaining. maybe I've found a way to enjoy rpgs now. thank you.

It's a combination of multiple glitches. First you need to skip Ice Palace by doing the skip at 1:02:20 . That will preserve the flag of the Ice Palace that you can't die in there. Later then after Jochs trial you do what I did in the run, you land in front of the Ice Palace to activate that flag and then fly to the sunken continent where you die to the boss. That brings you back to the Ice Palace. Then you fly and land right next to the Ice Country Neko and save there. That screen is bugged and doesn't write proper coordination values in the save since we landed with flammie. It will corrupt the save and if you load it, it will only be a black screen but we can write our own coordination values into the cache. For that you have to start a new game and after the Intro, on the screen with the bridge you have to soft reset with pressing L+R+Select+Start and hold it for a bit longer. With that you wrote the coordination values into the cache and you can now load the Frost Neko Save you made and it will take the values and spawn your party in Potos Village. Since the coordination was in a cutscene all characters are now invisible but you can make them visible by feeding them an item that displays a number like a candy for example. With at least one character still invisible you fly now again to the sunken continent, that place is glitched out since we left the boss arena without really dying. Now you have to use 2 controllers, one on the invisible character and one on another one. In the first room of the palace you can remotely, from far away, talk with the NPC in the middle of the room with your invisible character and while doing so you can move with the other character through walls and enter the tree palace from the wrong side. The same thing works then again in the room that you actually mean now with the 2 alive characters, while one attacks the pole the other one can walk through walls and make it up to that switch.

@@Zheal thank you very much to take the Time to describe the whole picture ! It was fairly complex . I already know the potos teleport glitch, its the same to take the last orb for the sword :). I understand why i cant do it its because i have only one controller.
