The constant clearing of the codes and check engine light on the fly is the funniest most bmw thing ever
^ i was waiting for them to put it in neutral and turn it off and on lmao
n54 thing
What did the owner say the power cut was about?
@@henrik1743 the n54 single turbo makes the car hot so you need to upgrade oil cooler or go dual.
N54 life :)
Props to the coat hanger with pants for making it through the track.
well spotted sir!
Yup😆
Spare pants, just in case
As a fellow 335i owner. I've been waiting for this day to come! Loved it
Im waiting for 335d one day :D
Agree!
4:44 Look how happy & proud he is what a legend. That E92 is a solid build💯🔥🔥
Super happy! Dream come true to visit Nurburgring and meet Misha :)
what does misha think of e92 chassis 335i ?,im currently running mhd stage 2,,fitted bilistein b12 pro kit(eibach springs) with p4s recently but it feels sketchy as hell over 125mph,to much moving around at the back on mine ,thinking my bushes are worn ,car actually frigtens me with about 390 at the wheels ,ive been thinking about water cooled I/C sprayer or Nitrous jets mounted infront of the intercooler ,did this guy have a 7.5 stepped intercooler do you know?,love the content,im a daily visitor
Try Diff-lock and M3 (or solid Alu) rear support member silentblocks… it solved this fishing rear feel for me… I have replaced bit by bit - new shocks, 4 upper trailing arms (got M3 ones), lower trailing arms (unibal), M3 rear stabilisator… major improvement after M3 support frame sltbks, game changer after Diff-lock (or Diff brace).
@@-GA-MancsFinestthat's probably because lack of LSD.
225000 miles, I love it
Had car from 81k miles :)
Not original engine. Replacement block has diesel studs.
@@Vgk36 Replacement block was done at 223000 miles and the only reason was cylinder clearances were slightly out of spec. on 4 out of 6 cylinders. I could still run it, but if you aim for 1000hp, every little bit counts. I still have my ori. block as a spare, it also is closed deck but has ARP studs in it.
Head, alternator, crank, and few more bits are still stock, 2006 parts. I also still have all 6 of my conrods and pistons on the shelve, ready to be sold (slightly used, 223k miles on them but in perfect condition). Misha has photo of them next to my new forged set 😉
What kit did you use for the 8hp, and are u using the lamik kit?
@@BartjeMssls Yes, Lamik TCU.
You just have the best job in the world, Don't you? Power to you.
As a Single Turbo N54 owner make sure to upgrade to a CSF radiator, VRSF 7.5 Race Intercooler, and dual oil coolers and slightly thicker oil for track days. Keep your fans on Sport cooling through MHD! Will definitely keep those temps in check!
Update….keep your fans or Track or Race cooling. It’s an option now on MHD….keeps the fans always on for maximum cooling
Good update. Works pretty good with me as well. 10w60 Shell Helix for the quicker days and I love it. Runs way cooler than Castrol Edge
@@J335i another update I highly recommend is the Mossleman Oil Thermostat. Keeps the oil and temps cooler in the long run and on those hot days going WOT.
@@b00st3d92 already got em
Fellow "full bolt on tune bro" n54 owner from the US here, love to see the 8HP swap, something I've been thinking about lately. Car could be set up a little better, small things here and there, but I guess it's in development stages so that's cool. Love to see it🙌
it's always in development :)
For road use, this is already sweet, just needs more mapping done, but for track ... definitely lots of room for improvement.
As always, time and money 💰
Better to do a dct swap
I think this was the motivation i needed to finally order my single turbo kit for my 335i, glad to see you liked it MIsha, hope he comes back for round two!
might wanna check the oil temps then xD
@@dont5363 They're not really too big of a problem unless tracking, he needs a lower temp oil thermostat, something like a mosselman.
@@dave6933 MHD has sport/track cooling option, which should help. Not sure if he had it activated.
Had one of those 335i N54 in the past with about 400hp and was already plenty fast so this must be seriously quick!
8hp70, nice, that is the best gearbox ever made. So versatile.
3 seconds of that accent and I knew he was Polish!;)
Great 335i and great content as allways!
Thank you!!
Pan MC Slik! Miło widzieć że też interesuje sie motoryzacją i ogląda Mishe😅
@@bagi914 Pewnie, że się interesuję! Nawet trochę jeżdżę;) Pozdrowienie!
Finally a 335i video! With mandatory check engine light too!
fun lap with a cool dude who loves his car. all the power to u mate.
the sound won't fool anyone but stopped it's a crazy sleeper specially without wings
Sounds good to be fair. Shame about the temperatures again. But like he said it's just the start. So next year's lap should be awesome. Cool video cheers ✌
Love your channel. New subscriber here and I’ve been catching up on all your older videos. You seem like such an awesome guy to just talk about cars and hangout with. One hell of a driver too! Keep up the awesome content and hard work.
Thank you and welcome to the channel!
This looked nuts, some great straight line power
I also have a 335i N54 but there are the same problems as always. Injectors, Turbos, High pressure Pump and so on, Oil leaks everywhere. Still the car feels so manual and drives amazing. Also the 6HP Transmission is legendary.
How I miss an analogue speedo! That’s a quick 335i right there !
Analogue BMW dials are like quality watches, digital screens just don't convey it the same.
@@cw205mi16 That's true. Love analog ones too.
That smile on his face said it all !
Maaan I wish I could bring my car to you to send it
Long time viewer.. I really appreciate you doing the rear cam. Great video as always!
Also.. .it PULLS after 105mph woah!
Lukas is a legend. Been watching him build this for a while.
Thanks Jon! Things we do to go faster ... 😆
Checks watch*
“On time for my 6 o’clock meeting”
Misha needs his own Motorsport video game or movie haha. That was such a nice line
That looked like a workout Misha 😂, let's hope to see better tires and cooling next year, the power is there but those will get it to the road!
What really impresses me is the cars that do lap after lap after lap and have no heating issues.
I also have a 335i, albeit a stock N55 one. Can’t wait to eventually tune it up one day
N54 gang, come on!
Love the trousers flying around in the back
I can jut imagine the look on that black F80 M3 owners face codes cleared on the fly too Kudos Awesome build !
Love the enjoyment of the owner ! What a lovely gent
I had a 335i a few years ago and loved it. I used mhd and had a Hartge tune on it and it was great. So smooth and powerful. These are not the most reliable engines though which is why I sold mine before it gave me big bills 😂
Awesome car and drive! Also really funny the code clearing while driving haha!
Changing the oil thermostate to one from Mosselmann could also help a bit with oil temps. This will open at 85 degrees. Have it on my (stage 1 tuned) N54 and like it!
I have oil thermostate mod but also overheating @ the Ring.
Drove some laps this sumer with mhd 2+
yooo that thing is QUICK. What a car loved this vid so much
I actually own a N54 and love it it’s a love hate relationship forsure but the sounds it makes is awesome. I got some dynamic autowerkx turbos about to go in this month 😈😈
Love the passenger. He looks so happy and proud of his sick build.
This was a super cool segment!!!
Misha ,this is crazy drive with crazy car !
Motor Addicts brought me here, subscribed great channel.
I love the coat hanger in the back swinging around. Like you joust would be on your way to a business meeting stopping by at the Nürburgring for a little ride ! 😅
Man thats a sick 335i right there.
Love a n54 single turbo 👍 good to see one on the channel. Do you know what ever happened to Marcos black e90 touring like 900hp. Way back one of the cars that drawn me to your channel
Typical n54 hardcore owner (in a good way) with mhd and it's features 😂. I was waiting for all the dash lights come on and when they did the owner was still laughing 🤣🤣🤣. That's the n54 life right there!
"yo what are all these lights on the dash?" "eh just ignore them, they'll autoclear in a second" n54 life indeed.
That's got quite a lot more more than my 335i :)
Love the e92 335i's, everyone wonders when I'm gonna get a new car, but frankly unless I wreck the engine or something like that I am not getting rid of it!
So nice to drive with a proper hydraulic steering rack!
People don't realise how much better it feels with proper hydraulic steering! Also modding capacity of 335i E9x cars is fantastic. From simple remaps and IC upgrades to FBO's and abominations like mine 😅
Sold mine a year ago, bought an Audi, sold it after 3 months, buying another 335.
This is one mad ripper 👍
that traction controll needs to be fully off
I love the G-meter pants in the back.
Solid build and great co pilot most people would be panicking having someone else drive their car around a track without prior experience with their specific setup.
"cleaning codes on the fly" hahaha love it!
All 4 cams like this is nice 👌
I love that you’ve just driven with a pair of trousers on a hanger in the back 😂
Those pants hanging in the back was great!
6:10 his face while passing the white van was hilarious 😂
e92 335i is just the peak of combustion engines.
brooo that thing is quick, the m2 looked like he has 150hp
Needs Oil cooler and probably radiator upgrade, for the Nurburgring, other than that great build. Seriously quick on 17psi 👌
Great engines... btw. I will never fully understand why ppl are making shaky videos with their phones instead of enjoying the lap. I mean, you film it anyways😄
Because it was my first ever lap of The Ring, I wanted to have full copyright ownership of at least parts of the lap. When I go 2nd time I will no longer bother to film. PS. Shaky is good, shows real G-Forces and not that steady, auto-stabilised, game like video ;)
13:31 Dude’s talking away... Misha like "What time does the supermarket close? I have to hurry"
Edit: It was the six o’clock meeting ;)
Really cool tune.
The new camera setup is great.
Almost 240 at 4:46 ... Sheesh , that s a fast bimmer
The poor gearbox 🙈 I'm glad that it didn't gave up. Nice vid tho!
Another good video... See you next weekend! S2000 time 😎👍🏻
Can't wait!
Love the rear view mirror, just consider changing the order. Speed, cockpit, rear
So, you got promoted to testdriver ?! Congrats ;-)
The chat and drive were fun. Happy modding to the owner.
Thanks! 😃
My wish is for one day see you drive a 335is on here. N54 with a DCT ❤
Maybe this can be done on spring in almost same car (color) but less power, but better tires.
This is what F1 drivers must experience, having their race engineer in their ear all the time 😜 great to see so much passion for a BMW straight six though
Starting to see a patter of needing oil coolers on modded cars haha
Yeeeep
I have one double the size of M3 cooler, but turbo is more than double the size of stockers so oil cooler needs to grow haha 😄
Most of these will never be ran this hard for 8-10min continuously again unless at nurb again.
@@jonasbaine3538 Exactly! And before someone says you can go full throttle at the Autobahn, it's not the same as massive speed helps cooling + once you reach rev. limiter, power is lowered to just keep constant V-Max. Track is a killer like no other. Only a massive dyno can simulate similar loads on the engine.
Nice, I love when I see steady acceleration even after 120, 140 kmh up to 300 just as well as from 0 to 120..
Oh BTW, "good question, probably it was alcohol.." I almost pissed myself laughing :D
Yes. This Polish guy is weird. Every normal polish guy pours down the throat alcohol but this guy pour down alcohol into tank :D
Humble content.
Rear view is great 👍🔥
MHD STAGE 2+ V5E40 is the sweet spot for this car, add a good oil cooler and LSD and you have an amazing car.
335i single turbo is my dream car😍
This particular car was my dream too, even that time had "only" 440HP. But after couple years I bought very similar one, even have almost the same painting. I believe that your dream will materialize soon too :) Keep pushing for it!
7:09 is that a 968? wow nice
Yeah, I was gonna say!
What system you have for this sound??
Hahaha dash lights going crazy!
Just incredible!! I'm surprised that that didn't choose to turn the traction control all the way off. But I wouldn't even pretend to think I know better that they should or not LOL. These guys are track monsters!! I love the 335i and the E46 M3 etc. I have one of each lol. FOLKS THIS IS A "FAMILY CAR" LOL.
I think that this channel will reach 1M subscribers very soon !!!
Doubt it haha. Eventually yes, not soon.
You are correct. It reached me. And I drive a 1M
😂😅
i think if the boost was turned up misha wouldnt have to wring it out so hard
A real Beast of a car, but this is exactly why I upgraded the oil cooler and intercooler on my M235i before I did anything else.
As I did as well, cooling is not stock since 2016 (40% bigger all Alu water radiator and 12 row oil cooler) ... but The Ring does things to your car! For daily, my setup is working perfectly, but for track tool I definitely need even more cooling!
@@lightmanek at the same time I also swapped the charge pipe and turbo inlet pipe on my M235, it's my daily as well, I track a 350z. Though I'm not as familiar with the 335, but still a beast and I'm sure it's a blast to drive 💪
@@derrickallen2054 Absolutely! 335i and 235i are similar at the core but your car has much better fueling and more advanced head. I reaced everything around the engine, inlets, outlets, intake, manifold, fueling and more. Lucklily I had 6 years to do it step by step and learn about the platform on the way.
@@lightmanek yeah I was thinking they are similar in some ways. Sounds like you paid attention to detail, which is always the wisest route, and in the long run, the least expensive route as well.
I run the dual evolution racewerks with shrouds oil coolers and love them, highly recommended!
What does that BMW compare with 350Z you drove recently? Is it more stable?
6:00 Polska guuurom haha
Was that a Porsche 968 CS you passed @ 7:24? Lovely blast from the past.
the price for the n54 & n55 is going up now 😏
What is the acceptable limit for oil temp as gauge was around 140'C and goes all the way to 170'C...? Have thought should stay below 130 C...
Love the six cilynder sound!
A few months ago I almost bought a 335i with 300 000 km but I decided to let go because the milage was too high, now I see I should have bought it😖
Yesssss e series 335 with the n54 👍
I love that car
Bmw what a machine
WoW ! It's fast !
350z or 335i for ring?
Looks like the hype of 2022, tune a car way past factory power without decent cooling mods 😅 so many problems still with the car.. the gearbox aswell.. hope to see the car again with every mod fitted! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks for the rear camera Misha.
@Misha, which brakes? Deceleration looks good :)
This is why i have installed a extra oil cooler :)
Did I see 363,000 plus km on that beast?
engine was rebuilt.
@@TML34 Some happy KMs in that little beast for sure.
Bro got a drift clutch lmao
Mine 535i LCI has 270km, seeing over 300k N54 engine being trashed on Nurburgring
Hi 5!
Oh my gosh. What a rush, I need to go to bed 😂
