You've wanted it for so long, I say try it! 😊The knot feature is a bit trendy, but it's not in-your-face obviously trendy. For example, those little Jacquemus bags. I've had mine for a couple years now without regret. I don't think the Jodie would have looked odd 10 years ago, and I don't think it will look odd 5-10 years from now. Honestly, I'd compare it to the Lady Dior. It has come in and out of popular fashion, and you don't see many people wearing them, but they can still be forever pieces if it's your style.
I have some Motorcycle City Bags, that are dupes to the Balenciaga one - I‘m fine with them, but I never had a strong itch to get the initial original one of that style to begin with. I would say: go for the dupe, see if you actually use it. If so and you don’t get tired of the style, sell the dupe and finally get the Bottega one 😁. Or maybe try renting the bag 😁
Thank you, Dani! 😂 although I have kind of waited that you would make the video of your dupe finds if that gave me courage not to spend so much money 😅😂
I’ll try and get it out soon. But essentially some have met my expectations and some haven’t and I still want the real thing. So I don’t have the one right answer from my extensive experience 😅😅
I don't buy dupes. It wasn't a decision I thought about until now, but I've just never wanted them. If I'm buying a contemporary bag, I need to like it for what it is. I've been seeing so many Chanel reissue dupes for the last few years. I can't afford the actual reissue from Chanel right now, but I would never be drawn to the dupe.
I totally understand you! I guess that if you can’t get the bag out of your head, you should definitely go ahead and buy it 😊
Yeah, that could be a sign 😇😆
Buy it 😊. Dupes aren’t for us bag lovers, you need the real thing. After wanting it for two years you are so worth it. 🤗
”Dupes aren’t for us bag lovers, you need the real thing” LOVE THIS! 🤩😆

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Meghan! I have to say that your teen Jodie is so pretty 🤩🤩
Used my mini jodie today, love it, but the zipper is very annoying. In my opinion jodie is a BV clasdic☺️
Ah yes, it definitely is a classic!

Haha renting could definitely allow me to test the style 😆
I resisted and then bought it preloved for a good price :) go for it :)
Thank you for sharing your experiences!
I say.... it's been on your mind for SO LONG that any dupe or other alternative just won't scratch that itch. It's time. 😏🛍
You might be right, Gwenny! 😍😅😆😆
I messaged you a 3rd option--not crazy expensive and not a dupe or fake.
Thank you for watching 💎
With the power vested in me, I grant you permission to buy the real thing🎉 you have suffered for long enough 😅

I’m realising that I’m the same: dupes just don’t do it for me 🤷🏻♀️
