Changi Airport was consistently the best airport in the world WITHOUT Jewel, good luck to the rest now.
Precisely. Since its opening in 1981 Changi Airport has won over 550 accolades and awards and consistently ranked in the top three worldwide. Last year it won the 'Best Airport in the world' title for the 7th consecutive year WITHOUT Jewel. The ranking was awarded by the prestigious Skytrax which ranks airports worldwide annually. Changi Airport the is the 6th busiest airport in the world with about 1,028 flights daily connecting us to 100 countries and 400 cities worldwide. A plane take-off or lands every 80+ seconds! Plus Changi Airport handled over 2.1 million tons of airfreight cargo last year. All these are made possible because of the people who run the airport, so my hats off for Changi Airport staff.
And as far as airport retail revenue is concerned, in 2016 Changi Airport ranked #3 globally with over SGD$2 billion in takings. And with the introduction of JEWEL this $2 billion amount will be surpassed easily. With 65.6 million passenger movements in 2018 a Big number of these are passengers on long transit and they will patronise the 280+ retail and F&B outlets, Changi Lounge and even stay a couple of hours at the 130-cabins YotelAir hotel.
Since 1988 I have backpacked worldwide and seen and experienced a lot, and IMO no airport comes close. With the addition of JEWEL Changi Airport has pulled even further ahead. If you've seen the Urban Redevelopment Authority's (URA) master-plan for Changi Airport in the decades ahead JEWEL is only the beginning.

Musical waterfall in Jewel Changi is similar to the concept of the musical fountain at sentosa island SIN. In the 80s, the musical fountain in sentosa blew me away and now the Jewel City has seared in my memory as the cream of Singapore’s perfection of attraction! WOW!

@liu luis I understand why your people will be so jealous of Singapore. I mean, our GDP is as big as your country, or during some years, much higher than your country. And we are a fraction of the size of your capital. don’t need to be sour. Just do your best and strive for the best, like the Singaporeans. We use hard work and diligence to fight to where we are today. You can too.;) without us, many of your countrymen wouldn’t be able to earn enough money to feed their family. Look at the number of Malaysians traveling to work in Singapore every day. And it doesn’t even count the Malaysians living in Singapore. We need each other, we help each other. So don’t need to feel jealous. we walk together and prosper together because we are neighbors.

Futuristic doesn’t mean anything if you can’t beat on quality. The world is filled with futuristic airports. but why aren’t they first on the best airports ranking. There is a reason why we are number one on skytrax ranking.

What a sight it will is a city is designed and created based on Jewel @Changi, with waterfalls everywhere, gardens, indoor rivers, streams, cycling paths, no cars in sight, apartments with gardens in the balconey, transportation. underground.

Lobby H is better. The projection is directly on the water whereas for Lobby F, its distorted by the water itself
Yeah. Depending on preference. I like F cos the sky train passes through from the side and not behind the vortex.
The Computer Graphics Can be projected to the Waterfall itself like the Holographic of Formula 1 Grand Prix Race Teams like example Mercedes and Ferrari and of course Singapore Airlines logo and Flight crew.

It's good combo/(taste) for layover visitors who didn't enter SGP to see Sentosa and Gardens by the bay etc etc.
