you can recognise a black metal song by high shrieking vocals and fast repetitive guitar riffs that give a cold icey feeling. that create a dark hypnotic atmosphere. the quality of black metal is often not good on purpose. while not all black metal sounds like this. its often meant to sound either as evil or as dark as possible. while dissection is often considered a blackened death metal band (like a mixture of the two together) this song is definitly more black metal. you can tell in the beginning of the song right when the beat kicks in. death metal is different, i know the sound since i like both genres. but i it makes sense does the guitar sound like it has more rhythm and less like this. and relies less on these vocals and the dark sound and more on a heavy but skillfull song.
