    Duuuuude!!.you are a very smart, very well spoken geeza with Lazer beam (blue lazer with green flikering prisms) like accuracy on the effectiveness of getting the point across to the people who need it. If one is depending on music as a mean to not going under cos of lifes stressfulness,it is infuriating when you watch a video that doesn't deliver what's on the tin but yours does.your tin says Cool Beans on it.

      It is not the same things.
      Swing is changing timing of notes.
      Groove is more wide task.
      It can deal with timing,like swing.
      But it can deal,for example,only with velocity of notes.
      So,in this example-groove is changed,but timing remain intact...

    • @tdcattech
      @tdcattech 5 лет назад +2

      I really don't know but it's a fundamental (poor choice of word when speaking about music) part of music so I would have thought this will exist in all versions.

    • @danegerzone4889
      @danegerzone4889 4 года назад

      @@tdcattech Shockingly enough (as you stated it's a pretty fundamental part of music making) it only seems to be in Standard or Suite, as I have Intro right now and there is no groove pool nor any way I can find to add swing rather than just manually dragging notes around myself. Pretty silly if you ask me but I knew I would have to upgrade eventually, Intro is very limited!

    • @rileycl
      @rileycl 4 года назад

      @@danegerzone4889 there is no "groove pool" in live lite but you can click the arrows next to where it says groove (lower left under clip) you can then drag any grove into where it currently says "none" then click "commit" and that should do it👍🏼

    This is super helpful but I can't seem to understand why the hell there is no simple, global swing, even in 2021. Maschine has had it for many years. MPC, especially the new software... super easy. FL Studio-- no problem. Ableton, which is heavily geared toward electronic music production.... no easy global swing percentage. It makes no sense, and should have been added to version 7, let alone 11.
