I've been wanting to try out this spot land based for a long time. With the kayak down for a little bit of modification, This was the perfect time to do a land based session down at Burnett Heads. My goal was to try catch some larger fish off the Breakwall, and as you might see... I was darn close.
I will definitely be gong back to try this out again, especially once all the freshwater has been flushed out of the system. And I'm also curious how this spot would do at night time, with possibly some bigger pelagic species roaming around.

yeah maybe haha, I've also caught my fair share of them. Don't think it was a ray. It wasn't running hard enough and changed directions like a big fish would. Guess I'll never know 😂. Thanks for your support mate 👍
