Wow this is like Brick in the Wall but not Brick in the Wall...I mean you can hear it but its different, unique. I like it!! I love the fact that it kept changing too. Awesome! Thanks for posting!!
I listened this song and another songs by LSO when I was little...(I was ca 5 years old) and now I dont know where is my casette ... I´m sad :( ... this songs are amazing!
I have Us and Them, bought it back in 98. However the one I like the best is The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Plays the Hits of Pink Floyd. Sticks more to the original, and the guitar player's oustanding. Try to find Shine on you crazy Diamond.
@roccer2112 I am well aware that the wall was made into a movie I am simply saying that if one of the songs like this one was put into a major movie only an orchestra like LSO would pull it off
I agree that it could be classified as disco, but only in a rudimentary way. I also don't think classifying something as disco doesn't inherently make it trash. There are some good classic disco songs.
While you're definitely entitled to your opinion (which I don't share), why did you feel the need to listen to it if you didn't like the original song? Why even comment?
Yes, you can get the CDs but they are very rare, you can download Symphonic Pink Floyd illegally though... Anyway I am surprised that those versions are not more popular... It sounds simply awesome with the orchestra!
the london symmphony orchestra are gods of orchstra cause they can turn just about any piece into this a great cover. who ever says this is shit.... burn in music hell, where all that is playing is opera and bad japanese pop...
In answer to your question (s) it's either - 1) because I feel somebody has to take a stand and protest against the unbelievably insincere and fake 'class' of orchestral rock or 2) because I've got a bad dose of ringworm at the moment and I need to off-load some frustration on an innocent party...
How can anyone dislike this? It's positively EPIC.
i have ever heard this when i was a child and
never heard this since this time. great!! beautiful memories!
i've been looking for this ALL DAY!!!

london symphony orchestra the only music group that can turn rock music into something that you'd expect to hear in a major movie.
This is 1 million times better than the original. Very well arranged.

I just wish they'd re-release all the LSO's Classic Rock albums on to CD.

@fukyous Dude, have you ever actually listened to Pink Floyd? They're definitely not disco. They're progressive rock.
Audiquality 2/10 ....
Not a very good recording. *sadface*
