I think this would be more interesting if both teams could only use the in game radio to talk to each other so both teams can hear each other if close enough
some "sportsmanship" lmao deadass though, imagine sick snipes singlehandedly reviving the competitive scene. Between the plays and the jokes, this is straight up the best insurgency content I've ever watched.
not likely given 1. I suck and 2. the competitive scene really is dead for several good reasons but it's still fun to play a """comp""" match here and there.
This is peak Insurgency PVP. Tournaments for this game would be 10x better than Siege in today's spotlight imo. Maps are more open, movements are more strategic and there's a LOT less hitscan-zero-weaponsway peaks. You brought be back to this game, Snipes :)
There once actually was a ranked mode for firefight. You wouldn’t need armor or ammo since the rounds ended so fast and it was all about precision aiming and outplaying the enemy. Audio was crucial as well because if you were silent, you could sneak up on the enemy. Fun times!
Does anyone know why its gone? Its seemed like after one update the matchmaking for it was no longer working and the update after just took it out completely.
Only read if you wanna hear a bad player's detailed console PvE Checkpoint experience (all in the span of a minute and a half): Marksman Class overwatching the final Security checkpoint on Precinct, last mag in an M110. Last man alive, the Insurgent technical is between me and the building when I make my way to the street but the driver is preoccupied colliding with road barriers. turn the corner and take out the gunner, then fire into the driver's compartment, but the engine smoke obscures him getting out. take out the driver when he pushes my position, then sprint inside the loosing objective room. An enemy enters the right door next to me, a few more shots downs him, and I make my way into the corner next to the left door. After several seconds another makes their way out of the left door, and one shot drops him. the right door (the one I am right behind) kicks open. After seeing a shotgun muzzle, I unload into the door killing the 5th enemy, then a suicide bomber immediately charges in from outside. The last remaining M110 shot drops him at the last phone-ringing second. I fire my M110 back at the door but it clicks, I swap and fire my handgun in it hearing enemies, but they aren't there yet. The 5th enemy's shotgun is clipped through the door so I grab it. The door is pushed back open and I fire the shotgun into it, killing the 7th man, an 8th walks through and I kill him from behind, grabbing an AKS74u that suddenly glitches out and I now have no primaries and a half-full handgun. More enemies are seen running from outside. I sprint to the right to take cover behind a stack of shelves, an M4 is just within reach that's on semi with a half-full extended mag. I pull around to the left corner of the shelves and fire into three enemies, the third survived the final shots fired through the shelves and moves to my left before I check the right corner, firing the last shots into another enemy before going dry (didn't kill him). The third enemy pushes my left while I swap to my handgun, he somehow misses a point-blank shotgun blast as I crouch and panic-fire three shots into his head. The remaining enemy outside had thrown a molotov, but it hit the shelves instead of near me. I grab the third enemy's shotgun and fire at the molotov man as he opens up with an MG3, again by some miracle the opening burst didn't kill me like usual. A final man steps out from the left door but is hung up, giving me the split second needed to kill the gunner then him before he runs back inside the doorway. After a few seconds we finally beat the round. And I still don't realize how I singlehandedly killed 13 Insurgents with four weapon swaps, with a majority of the fighting probably being inside of a minute.
Eh it happens when you're last man standing and high on adrenaline or whatever gamers take nowadays (mountain dew? G-fuel? IDK) Honestly? While it would have been better to record your last man standing moment, its still a great clutch nonetheless.
seriously, InS has all the aspects to become a professional esports competition. The realism, features, tacticalism. I'd love to see more competitive matches in this game
Feels weird that we still dont have custom games when F2P shooters like Splitgate, etc have them. Would love to play custom coop with friends instead of random lobbies with no comms
nope, you cant do that in many of the best fps games on pc. red orchestra, arma, rising storm, squad, hell let loose. you can always play call of duty if you want that though.

that would be super cool yeah
It is a feature in the game, proximity chat was turned on as far as I know
@@shaen2808 ik that’s why I want to see it being used
@@mamaraccoon42069 Same, that was my first thought when I started seeing the matches.
@@mamaraccoon42069 it gives you’re position away too much you can fully track someone down with just their voice in insurgency

Don't bother leaving the comment on setting audio capture to source instead of desktop

Yeah, especially since there's no stupid super high tech gadgets like heartbeat censors, just pure skill.
2:19 the fucking Animal Crossing voices killed me holy shit lmaooo
Bro the clip where you threw the nade back got me jumpin in my seat good shit
Wow a gamemode that's actually fun! if only there was matchmaking for 5v5 firefi-

Bro I fucking died with that epic gaming sportsmanship lmao. subbed
Proximity Comms would’ve been hilarious in this Tournament 💯😆
This was the most fun I've had in Sandstorm in a long time, It was a damn good fight
Great video and really we had a great time making the content!!!
Incentivizing competetive mode in insurgency sandstorm would be one of the greatest additions to the game.

Being unable to jump and shoot has got to be the stupidest, god-forsaken thing any game developer has EVER implemented in an FPS.
