This is so enlightening and comprehensive. No student should have a scrawled logbook with such educative video. I hope this video goes viral, the sight of a scrawled logbook irks i must confess. Proud of you, keep up the good work.
Thanks for this pleasant comment ma

What if you are unable to submit the scaf form within the 2 weeks of commencement
Would the ITF still collect it later on
Because I wasn't aware of it before
You can still do that ASAP
Thank you very much for this helpful video, I have been wondering how to go about it.
So my question is, what if we are to work in different sections of the hospital e.g lab, pharmacy, records etc, what do I write on the Department/Section in form 8?
The section stands as the department then
Good afternoon. Thank you for this video. In cases where you do SIWES in different organizations, like 3-4 places, when filling the ITF i.e (where were you attached last), can we write the organization we visited first before the current one?
you should fill that with "where you were attached last"
@@plearnty Alright. Thank you sir.
Thank you so much for this very detailed video.
My question is, if my institution requires me to put an official date on my SCAF Form say 14th of August and i started my training in the organization 2 weeks after (28th af August) do i just go ahead and start with week 3 on my logbook and is there any implication for that pls?
You start filling your logbook the day you start your internship. If you're running out of time and wouldn't be able to make up for that two week that you were idle. Contact your academic advisor for a personalized advice as per your school regulations. Hope this helps
Wow! Great video tutorial explaining everything step by step. You did a great job 👏
Pls is it compulsory to submit SCAF form within 2 weeks of my SIWES commencement?
I'm a student of NOUN and I haven't heard anything about submitting SCAF form within 2 weeks of commencement.
The form I heard that must be submitted in 2 weeks *to my institution,* _(not ITF)_ is Job Reporting form (form 004) and it's like it's no longer required because the form is not available on my school SIWES portal.
So I'm just kinda confused. Some NOUN students/ex-students said it's acceptance of placement letter that I'll submit in 2 weeks of commencement, which I did actually take to my faculty but they told me that I should bring it on defense day for submission, they didn't collect it from anything.
So my confusion right now is on a pro max🤦🚀😂
Thanks for the kind words.
Please be informed that different university may have their culture, but one of those things that is general about SIWES is that SCAF (or SCAF form as many would call it) is to be submitted within 2 weeks of commencement of your internship.
I hope you find this helpful.
If you have more questions, tips or suggestions. Ensure to drop them here.

@@plearnty OK thanks. I'll try and get more info from my school to know if it applies here.
