Regice is a nice guy he saw I had no ice in my drink and came over to make some unfortunately he saw my blissey and immediately blew up as a knee jerk response causing me to lose the match I was playing

Claydol would have done more damage using Earthquake against Tyranitar.

I anticipated a Qwilfish lead.
i gotta get back into ADV OU sometime soon. Regice is my favorite mon to use in the format. toxic/rest is really funny to wall out certain special mons and to get passive damage going from toxic
Rookie mistake: Raikou wasn't Modest, it's just that +1 SpA Raikou vs +2 SpD Suicune does more damage than unboosted Raikou vs +1 SpD Suicune.
Yeah he just forgot to add + 1 in the calc lol
qwilfish raikou guy here: it was actually modest. but he's right that timid is better and it has been changed

Yes but he had no reason not to click t wave there, it covers the switch to gengar and would still allow u to boom on blissey if it switched into it. pert is never coming in on that turn

loving all the ladder vids!
I've had a lot of success with Modest Raikou on the ladder. You outspeed max+ base 100s, so you're mostly missing out on tying max+ Starmie and beating Gengar/some fast +1 Ttars. But Starmie and Gengar aren't the biggest threats to Raikou, and if you're running Raikou maybe you want something else to deal with DDTar anyway?

Actually Eq would've dealt 300 Base Power vs Explosion 250 Base Power against the Ttar
Earthquake does 300 power there while Explosion is only 250. EQ was better

I like seeing teams like this that kick your ass. Everybody doesnt run the same bs stale meta that you run and get destroyed. The qwilfish lead was perfect to draw out earthquakes and switch to gengar . And everybody doesnt run fast Raikou just because theres a team build doesnt mean everbody has to pick it and run the same old game like you. I like how this urprised you and defeated you. Not every team runs a blissey or a stale ass skarmory. and picks the same teams or moves as yoy. And everyteam is not a counter to yours. Jim , you suck. I said it before and Ill say it again and again.....
