Skidmore was one of my "target" colleges. It was a little bigger at 2,000+ students for me, but I LOVED the campus. After Sarah Lawrence & Bard (which were higher up on my list) Skidmore was the third upstate NY LAC I was most interested in attending.
lol...they're ALOT better than when I was there as a freshman (1980-1981)!!.....And Paul Newman's daughter, Melissa, and I were both in Wilmarth Hall our freshman year!
Wrong. The Freshman dorms are far better than 90% of other College's dorms. By a student's Sophomore year, they qualify for their own single dorm room, and by Junior year students are eligible to live in the apartments, with their own room. My daughter attended from 2017-2021, and had a huge freshman double, a sophomore single dorm room, and Junior & Senior years had single apartment rooms.
