I watched most asian bl ever! Before, I would say Lovesick is my favourite but now, Love By Chance is my favourite! It even have the same effect as Lovesick during their time! So legendary and worth talking about. The casting, the acting, the story, but because of the time and other issues constraints, there's some character that couldn't be developed properly. In Lovesick, you have 2 seasons and 48 Episodes, 12 Episodes for the 1st season and 36 EPISODES! for the 2nd season. Every characters and their issues could be enravel smoothly during that much of time duration. Even more conflict into the main couple(Noh x Phun) relationship because, hey, who doesn't have issues in their relationship, much less a same-sex one. In this series, I could see a couple of issues but only trivial one(maybe because Ae is so straightforward that the issue could be solved almost immediately as it rises), I want to see a more complicated one(such as family perception towards their relationship(Ae family) or another potentially strong rival(sounds like telenovela)). The other couple stories had been rushed by the end of the remaining episodes and it is not clear as to where some of their relationships would direct. My point is, just make a season 2 so that I can get my drama fill! Besides, I love Ae(Perth) voice so much that I was asleep by listening to his voice every night(hahahah)! I know there's some problems with the manager and about the gay stigma but....look at Lovesick, people ships Noh and Phun at the time and also wanted them to be gay for each other but if they're not together in real life, deep down, everyone can accept the reality that in the end of the day, it was just a drama. So, the manager can please chill down and let the actors do their job. Their popularity is being made by this series, don't let that go to ruin!!
Studio executives NEVER understand what REAL people like, they are usually profit-making automatons. Gay stigma, yeah they use that excuse but Thailand is very gay-friendly. My ex BF and best friend works in Thailand and has a BF there -- he's had nothing but great experiences with the people there that he says are some of the kindest he's ever met. Granted he stays in Bangkok mainly but that's where a lot of the people are anyways lol! I think with more international appeal (especially with the subbing they do now!! :D) that they will see an overall increase in viewership which will get the executives on board eventually.

I watched most asian bl ever! Before, I would say Lovesick is my favourite but now, Love By Chance is my favourite! It even have the same effect as Lovesick during their time! So legendary and worth talking about. The casting, the acting, the story, but because of the time and other issues constraints, there's some character that couldn't be developed properly. In Lovesick, you have 2 seasons and 48 Episodes, 12 Episodes for the 1st season and 36 EPISODES! for the 2nd season. Every characters and their issues could be enravel smoothly during that much of time duration. Even more conflict into the main couple(Noh x Phun) relationship because, hey, who doesn't have issues in their relationship, much less a same-sex one.
In this series, I could see a couple of issues but only trivial one(maybe because Ae is so straightforward that the issue could be solved almost immediately as it rises), I want to see a more complicated one(such as family perception towards their relationship(Ae family) or another potentially strong rival(sounds like telenovela)). The other couple stories had been rushed by the end of the remaining episodes and it is not clear as to where some of their relationships would direct.
My point is, just make a season 2 so that I can get my drama fill! Besides, I love Ae(Perth) voice so much that I was asleep by listening to his voice every night(hahahah)!
I know there's some problems with the manager and about the gay stigma but....look at Lovesick, people ships Noh and Phun at the time and also wanted them to be gay for each other but if they're not together in real life, deep down, everyone can accept the reality that in the end of the day, it was just a drama. So, the manager can please chill down and let the actors do their job. Their popularity is being made by this series, don't let that go to ruin!!
Studio executives NEVER understand what REAL people like, they are usually profit-making automatons. Gay stigma, yeah they use that excuse but Thailand is very gay-friendly. My ex BF and best friend works in Thailand and has a BF there -- he's had nothing but great experiences with the people there that he says are some of the kindest he's ever met. Granted he stays in Bangkok mainly but that's where a lot of the people are anyways lol! I think with more international appeal (especially with the subbing they do now!! :D) that they will see an overall increase in viewership which will get the executives on board eventually.
Same before lovebychance came out , lovesick was my number 1 but now Lbc is number1 and Lovesick number 2 ( i saw a lot of same effect like song or Scene here) but it's because P'New have work on LoveSick but LBC is his first Bl he was Directing by himself .
