Seed of Chucky Dolls (Sideshow / Trick or Treat Studios)

This is a quick comparison between Seed of Chucky doll by Sideshow Collectables (released around 2008) and the newly released doll by Trick or Treat Studios (ToTS). Both are made from the screen used molds by the movie artist, Tony Gardner. While Sideshow one feels more quality (real stitches, solid body, better teeth and scares pint app), ToTs has better hair, eyes and overall it feels like it jumped out of the screen. The biggest missed opportunity is the lack of grabbing hand, but overall, happy camper here,,Now cant wait to see Glen and Tiff next!

Absolutely phenomenal

Overall, the TOTS version looks much better. I love the teeth, face stitching and staples of the Sideshow Collectibles one though. Eyes look more realistic too. But TOTS version has it beat in so many other categories.

I feel like a letdown specially after all the delays. Showing a silicon multi thousands doll initially as a prototype didnt help either. Not sure how the final production piece will look like, but for now I prefer ToTs despite its shortcomings.

@@maxhammer4067 sorry for the late reply. Honestly, none of them are perfect. I like ToTs headsculpt more but the quality in sideshow is far better (real stitches, holding knife, better teeth etc). Between the two I would lean on Sideshow for nostalgic reasons and rarity. But if Im buying now I would go with ToTs cause Sideshow doll is too expensive now.

Both have their own pros and cons. I feel if they made ToTS with the same quality of Sideshow it would have been the ultimate Seed doll!

Darth Haitham I agree, I love the sculpt on the ToTs doll but I feel like they made him look a little too plastic with the paint job and the teeth. Other than that I think it’s an amazing replica.
