Borderlands 2: Legendary Hornet- Does it Suck?!

The Hornet is the legendary Dahl pistol. It only comes in corrosive, like many pistols in this game. It is a strong weapon, it definitely doesn't suck. It drops from Knuckledragger early in the game. It's not quite the top tier weapon that it is often made out to be.
I do not think that is much better, if any better than the Gub. It's a great weapon, but not a top weapon, in my opinion. Tell me what you think.
