I just have to comment on this one more time. It is rare that one sees absolute perfection in any performance, yet that is what we see here. You can see it on Elia's and Josep's faces at the end -- they totally nailed it. What a joy! I have to watch this at least once every day.
Yes, they totally nailed it and knew it. Of all the very great musicians SAJB has turned out Elia may very probably be, on this showing, the greatest instrumentalist to date. Utterly fearless, utterly musical.
Wow, that was nice. It is really, really hard to top Èlia on jazz violin. Maybe it's not impossible, but boy, does she set a high standard! Nice work by those other two dudes, as well. 🙂

Elia, I had the great pleasure of seeing Grappelli, the greatest ever, in concert near the end of career. If I were to listen to recordings of you both playing the same song I don't think I could tell who was who. You are truly a wonderful talent.
