Two things: I have been commenting to Reactors that listening to Angelina is like eating the finest chocolate in the world! So you nailed it. Next, if you heard her Christmas concert she told a story about stepping in a glue rat trap backstage before a performance and how they scrambled to get it off her feet. This girl must be protected. Sadly at some point she will need body guards. Right now she is still anonymous in parts of the world so she can be a girl and live a semi-normal life.

Since then she is only barefoot, when she is safe on stage, mostly on a nice carpet. Yes Elmar, I remember that story, it was not a mechanical mouse trap but some kind of glue strip, she could not lift her foot off the ground anymore and her mother had to cut her off carefully using a sharp knife, and some of her skin got hurt in that incident... and that was right before her performance, so outside the audience was waiting and wondering why it took her so long to get out on stage... I'll have to pay attention to the carpet you mentioned - I remember there was a carpet in some of her performances, but I couldn't tell if it's the same carpet everywhere and if there's always a carpet at all... But if it's always the same carpet then maybe it's the flying carpet she's using to get from LA to the locations of her concerts, makes sense it would rest on the stage until it's time to go home... I wouldn't be surprised at all if at some point during a show she might elevate on her carpet some feet above the stage, sitting cross legged like she did when she sung for Sugarfoot and pouring her voice over the audience from heaven... There is nothing that helps me find peace during difficult times, like listening to Angelina’s music. Im so glad she is able to help you also. It Is so much better than grabbing for a coping method such as: food, alcohol or drugs. You don’t need to stress about her performing barefoot she knows how take care of herself. The message she sends to to world by keeping her promise to perform barefoot is so important to her and wonderful for the world. It is wonderful that you can open up so much when reacting to her. I'm in remission of having Lymphoma cancer, and Angelina's music was a big part of my recovery. Listening to her music gave me a place to just take my mind off of things and just relax an not worry about the outside world. Now she's part of my every day routine. I have to listen to at the very least one song by her for the day to be good. Anyways, as for this song, Angelina once said that she wanted to create a song with a James Bond sound to it. You can definitely hear it! Hopefully she will be asked in the near future to do a song for a Bond film.
