Caribbean paradise with rich history | WIDE

Off the furthermost tip of Colombia, in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, lies the San Andrés archipelago. As its name implies, this paradise was discovered on Saint Andrew’s Day in 1524. The Caribbean archipelago has been conquered by the English and the Dutch in the past, before its independence in the 20th century.
From its past as a colony to multiple countries, San Andrés has preserved its unique diverse culture and folklore deriving from African and European culture. Carlos, a local tour guide born and bred in San Andrés, welcomes aboard tourists from Colombia and around the world, who are attracted to the magnificent landscape and the rich culture the archipelago offers. San Andres was beautiful. The underwater museum was creepy and ugly. The statues were pure crap, not "Art".
