This band truly are something special. To try to fill the voice of Shayley was hard, for Austin it was hard. Both? It was enough to kill the band. Aaron just kept this band going and has been on a role since Defy. Killer work as always, bring on album number 8!
And I think he's worked on new stuff for Jaime's Elsewhere, crazy!
And Aaron just dropped a new EP with jamies elsewhere.

You don't often see a lead metal vocalist step down from one of the hottest metalcore bands in the game, and then Austin did. When he did, I was for sure the band was over. And then Unbreakable came out. Aaron has absolutely blown my mind since then. This band has evolved and has literally built their own sound with each album. Cant wait to see them for the third time with Bullet For My Valentine. This band is hard to catch!!!!

Austin has always been a trash vocalist. He was the worst part of the band. Aaron has taken them to a new level.
Both vocalists and bass player did.
Austin Carlile was never a metal vocalist. At most, he was post-hardcore which is suitable for the emo KIDS. Once Aaron took over completely, their sound matured and got heavier and made something that the ADULTS could enjoy.

If Austin stayed, I don’t think this band would have made it. Aaron took this band to new heights. Super talented individual

I’ve always liked OM&M but now that Aaron has the keys I’ve found myself listening to their new shit way more. That is just entirely coincidental and my own preference. I’m sure there’s a million people who like Austin more and want him back
wrong, austin was literally THE man back when he was the frontman of the band, it's just time thats changed, music has changed. it wouldve been the exact same way if they were still as one

Aaron is the man! Leading 2 metalcore bands (OM&M and Jamie's Elsewhere) is a hard task but he manage to bring his own touch to each band. 🎧

To be fair he’s sucked with Jamie’s elsewhere since he’s joined of mice and men. A whopping one ep and one solo track from Jamie’s elsewhere. Don’t hit me with the “he’s in both bands making music” when Jamie’s elsewhere has only released recent music in the last 3 year and he’s been absent the other 6 years….
His cleans match Jamie else’s where but it don’t match of mice and men fr all respect to him I love the band I even have the tattoo but honestly man the band need shayley ,shayley too the sound it once had to dayshel ,dayshel sounds more like of mice and men smh listen to dayshel -you wish

I miss Austin so so much, he was fantastic, but Aaron has breathed life into this band, there’s no reason this band should still be able to keep up with the newer and more advanced groups, but they do. I always knew there was something special about this group of guys

this song alone includes some of Aaron's best screams and most impressive singing
For those who are doubting Aaron filling both shoes of their former clean and scream vocals, well, it's up to you and what your preferences were. I've been listening to them for years now and all I can say is, no offense but I prefer Aaron over the previous vocalists. They are extremely good, no doubt about it but I love the new OM&M all the more. This dude is a machine gun!

#EARTHANDSKY is still by far one of the best Metalcore albums ever made to date and tbh with that album, OM&M set the bar at the top. It'll be interesting to see if they can match that level of artistic genius or did they set the bar so high with that one that they can't keep up with it? So far, I wasn't too impressed with Echo by comparison, but we'll see. Either way, this is bangin', it's just hard to say if it compares to anything off of EARTHANDSKY.

I wouldn’t even say that’s the best OM&M record, let alone one of the best metalcore albums. To each their own i guess but The Flood is by far their best, Austin’s first 2 albums with Shay are better than any record with Aaron on it
