Riu Palace Lunch Buffet Food (Costa Mujeres)

- Check out the lunch buffet food at a Riu Palace resort, in this case at Costa Mujeres Cancun, Mexico. The buffet was located at the Spaces Restaurant and is where most guests eat lunch since the specialty restaurants are only open for dinner.
The food selection was very good- they had something for all tastes including Italian, Mexican, Asian, Seafood, Steaks, Vegetarian, and even gluten-free pasta upon request.
Some of our favorites included their salads, carving station, selections of fruit-infused water, and tropical fruits which included Dragon Fruit & Rambutan. Riu did a nice job rotating the food so that it didn't feel like we were eating the same stuff daily during our 4 night stay.

Im getting great reviews about place and how clean it is , however I’m getting 50/50 opinions of food and drinks
It was a pretty nice resort with great views and good service. Food was quite good at the buffet but yeah can be hit or miss at the specialty restaurants. The Italian one was the best. You can also eat at Riu Dunamar's restaurants- the Asian Buffet restaurant & the Italian there were also pretty tasty.
