I also have over protective parents who doesn't even let me talk to boys ,let me go out,etc.(I think it's unequal as my brother is allowed to do all the things coz he is a boy) I know they are worried but now I feel very uncomfortable going out, socialising with opposite gender ,nd Now they ask me why I don't go out comfortably .I'm so scared to even tell them I'm sick, sad or got hurt coz till now I tried my best to plz then nd make them happy ,thinking it as a duty of a child.....

My parents are so strict that my life is go to go college and straight come home even I am not allow to use phone when I ask my parents for phone or laptop they always say that first u complete study then use phones . And I don't have friend because I am not allow to make friends.And I am not allow to wear what I like I should always wear kurti .Sometime I fell like why I was born and I always want to die from childhood to now .l wish I was a boy because my brother is allowed to do whatever he like . Tell them,"your child is a gift from God not your property, take care of your children cuz you wanted children, I never said I want to come in this world. You planned children because it was your wish not my own, go and ask those who don't have any children" literally go say this to your parents and let them realize this if not then take help go consult your teacher, relative or I wish you lived in the u.s so that you could easily police complain. See hearing this about your parents may not seem good to you afterall they are your parents but my sayings makes sense. If you don't take stand by now you will always be treated like this and literally no one has authority over you except yourself. Pare Rs don't have authority on their children actually children are their responsibilities. Give me a reply, okay.

If you have a job and are able to take care of yourself. GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!! YOURE GROWN UP NOW ITS YOUR LIFE!! You don't own your parents anything, and it's your choice if or to whom you want to get married. Don't sacrifice your mental health and sanity for the sake of your parents , If it's negatively affecting you get the hell out of there!!

It's actually disgusting to go through this. Everytime I smile looking at the phone, mom teases me and asks me why i'm smiling. When i'm grumpy, she asks why i'm grumpy. If we girls talk, we are considered over smart and talkative. If we don't reply, we're said to be defiant. We can't even have the liberty of wearing what we want. When outsiders judge, it's irritating but when parents judge , it hurts
