I'm a lifelong Packers fan, and have watched almost every game Rodgers ever played. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player and will deservingly end up in the HOF one day, and I'm forever thankful that he helped the Packers win a SB. That all being said, I'm so glad he's no longer on GB. It's been clear for the past few seasons that he's not the player he once was, and he seems to be way more focused on his own personal stats and accomplishments as well as getting into power struggles with management than he is with doing whatever he can to put his team(s) into championship contention anymore.

Tom Brady and LeBron have totally skewed the perception of aging athletes; people look at those two and say, "see you can keep playing at 40+!" No, _they_ can keep playing at 40+, nearly anyone else is falling off long before then. Brady and LeBron not only are generational talents, but also possess generational work ethic, focus, intensity, preparation, genetics, and luck.

It really shows how great and tough of a QB Brett Favre was, that he was able to have statistically the best year of his career at 40 years old, back before the quarterback position was so protected by the officials, and you could actually hit them and try to injure them on every play. Meanwhile, Aaron is actively hurting his legacy because of how old and frail he looks out there on the field, in a time when it’s never been easier and safer for a 40 year old QB to have success.

Never thought this about him, but he seems a really lazy individual who has rested on his talent and neglected learning new offensive schemes while not working on connecting with his younger WR's. I'm a lifelong packers fan, and I 100% agree with you about Aaron, and his lack of a work ethic! When he was an ascending talent, in 2008,and 2009, he went to offseason workouts at Drew Brees' quarterback camps! Now he refuses to go to mandatory spring practice, or otas. He didn't show up for spring practices for his last season in green bay, and didn't get to know his 3 new rookie receivers, and then finger pointed at them every time something went wrong! Terrible leadership! I so wanted the Packers to trade him to Denver the year before they finally traded him to the jets! I was also disgusted with his inability to score touchdowns in playoff games, and the lack of even a first down during the 2nd half of his last 2 playoff games in green bay! He slid from great ,to awful when the in playoffs ! Also, I don't have any respect for his alleged intellectual abilities. Arrogance doesn't make a person smart. It just fools a lot of people.

Aaron can't learn from his own mistakes, and he can't figure out any compensating strategies. He blames other players for his lack of alternative skills. You could have been right there with the Texans if you hadn’t listened to the media and just said, guys get tired. Maybe we should do less QB designed runs so this doesn’t happen. It’s in line with the trend of QBs getting concussed, being picked up off the ground by a teammate, then throwing picks on the next play. I lost count on the number of times I’ve seen this in the last couple of seasons. Take the guy out.

The Colts could finish 4-1 or 5-0 and 9 or 10 wins, they are better offensively than the Jets and the Colts would be worse with Rogers. Rodgers accuracy could be the feet and body are not getting into the right place to throw accurately because of his movement. If the bonuses are removed Rogers will get less than Flaco and with a good team around him he is better than Flaco, the Jets are still 15th passing yards (maybe 20th without the extra game) and 7th TDs, a team like the Giants should consider it worth a 7th round pick for a $3M QB that will play better than Jones.

There’s no chemistry in that Jets locker room. Rodger’s is just a fraction of the issue. ARod is a great player but not interested in being a leader at this point of his career.

Draft Rodgers a first round wide receiver! That's the reason he didn't win more in Green Bay

Rodgers has terrible footwork. He always has. But when you’re young and have arm talent like Aaron you can get by without it. I see it in Drake maye a lot. He throws of the wrong foot a bit or he like jumping and throwing. And rn it’s all cool and fun and looks amazing. But when he’s 35 it’s not gonna look the same obviously

ok we get it Colin Cowherd, you've been trashing ARod every week this year, i agree he's past his prime, but do we have to have multiple episodes and multiple conversations where we just TRASH him endlessly? He's still a human being, and he wanted to be successful in NYJ, but it didnt turn out. But trashing him, calling him old, a total different human being etc etc is a bit much. We forget that these larger than life athletes are still people.

I truly dislike Colin. He hasnt aged gracefully? He is over funking 40. How many QBs in histroy can even get on a field at that age? But no, Aaron doesnt work hard. Also, he did tear his achillies, right? That takes 20 year olds 2 years to come back from and they said it...his lower body is the issue.

“Rodgers isn’t half the QB he was” . For the record he isn’t playing well this year I agree. Rodgers = more TDs & pass yards than Mahomes, also less ints. Square that circle as they talk so hyperbolic though.

Aaron is extremely hate-able. His arrogance and his whole-hearted willingness to shift blame to literally anyone but himself, kinda makes normal people sick to their stomachs, after a while.
