Just thought I'd say something here: Bouncing passes off the wall was formerly known as 'Titan chip'. This technique was discovered in Mario strikers charged and was essentially used for free goals because bouncing it off the walls messed up the goalie's AI. With all the clips used doing that, I can't tell if it's the same case here or it was just luck, but feels like it's the same case as charged here.
No wonder only 2% are subscribed. You make this all seem so incredibly easy! Like “no one is doing this on online play”. Well no shit! It’s next to impossible to perfect! It’ll take months and months of constant play to get decent at this
It takes a bit to get a feel for but it's definitely worth it! I'd try practicing on the cpu first before jumping online. Side note: I really wish this game had a proper training mode!!
Passing stats matter for free pass. The higher the stat the more speed, but more importantly, the longer the pass which isn’t always great. Some characters I want a very low stats to pass where I want. Other characters I want a bit more. It’s all positioning
Good video, can confirm from my experience. I don't like to have bad passing in any of my team except the Striker up front which I use Rosalina and I just have her with amazing stats for scoring (18 shooting + 21 technique). Other characters I try to have at bare minimum 10 pass but 13+ if possible
does anyone know of goal confirms yet like in charged? i messed around with some toads and found out that if you perfect pass the enemy boom boom only blocks and never holds the ball. there seems to be a point where you can aggro boom boom at the same time you are passing or shooting but i dont know how consistant this is.

I've definitely had the wall bounce shots blocked - but I didn't know that about Charged!

The free pass stuff looks incredibly tough to master but man does it look rewarding
