    I'm guessing the Jolly Ranchers apples get crack-your-teeth hard when they set, unless you take time to add some corn syrup or something (which would also lighten the color and flavor a bit).

    • @MrNauticalcherry
      @MrNauticalcherry 5 лет назад +3

      Looks like she switched apples! The pink apple she dips, the sugar goes all the way to the stick, the pi k apples she decorates with candy afterwards, there is no sugar even near the sticks.

    love your videos. but one question how do i make the jelly apples. i try to meke them at home and they come out like hard candy. my husband likes the jelly soft. like the caramel.. and also i look up the recipe from www.tasteeapple.com but no help. or should i just make them like you did with the pink ones and add the,food coloring.? like i said i want the same as the caramel but in cherry flavor or jelly. but,not hard candy.. plzz help 😉

      I think you're looking for a recipe more like this one ruclips.net/video/swdmjh9yE0k/видео.html. If not, for this candy video, just don't cook your sugar as long...this recipe uses "hard crack" you want "soft crack" for chewy.

    Wait a minute, the glitter you used in the Jolly Rancher Apple did not look like edible glitter, it was much too shiny. Also when you mix edible glitter into anything it changes because of what it's made of. I can understand if you used regular glitter for effect but please let us know because you shouldn't eat real glitter.

    • @Cookiescupcakesandcardio

    So
    I'm not sure why the need for that piping gel to add candy.. Why not just add candy before it dries? Save money on buying that gel and it sort of looks gross.. But I love your tutorial and other than using the gel, I'm going to try this. Thanks Jen!

    • @briennethornton803
      @briennethornton803 7 лет назад

      the candy hardens very quickly. makes it almost impossible to get candy or other objects on the apple evenly or neatly. the piping gel isnt anything gross or that will hurt you. its used in decorating cakes all the time. taste kinda sweet. hth

    I think Im gonna love the jolly rancher one since I already love those candies alone and the blue sparkly color is just so pretty! It reminds of the frozen disney movie:p thanks so much for sharing, you are soo creative! Like wow
