While driving down the highway. The berkano rune appeared to me in my rear view mirror today.
I found a long inscription under the desk in my hotel room and I realized its rune. It seems to be describing my life. Can I send you a picture of it. I'm completely unfamiliar I only vaguely remembered it from my childhood.
And whoever wrote it did a really good job it's like very pretty and almost like professional or something it's really crazy and I don't know why they wrote it underneath this desk in this hotel room
Birch trees are used to heal in the north. Such as in having a birch-bouquette in the sauna to hit your back. Its sap is healing inflammation, saunas are connected to the womb. Loke being the trickster and also could be interpreted as a lock. Metaphoricly whats holding back. Now that could get interpreted as birch trees being a healing power for a resting period. But tbh here in Sweden, most are allergic to the pollen of just birch trees in blooming, witch could cause said inflammatory reaction to heal, and paradoxaly being a solution to the ache. Being very green is also connected to something completely new so. Perhaps as berkano implies you need a new beginning, and whats holding you back is also the cure to get going. Is one goes within and nurture body and soul. But what most dont know as i mentioned the sauna, and even if its Finnish, we have a big influence from each of northern Europe blended in one.
Saunas was built first, a hearth to build a house around, where tradition are kept as sacred and also have connection with being in contact with spirit/breath of life. Its a healing place for physical pain aswell as a place to cook and share community with friends and family. To built silent or spoken connections. As mentioned above, smacking the back with the branches heals inflammatory or acting muscles. Saunas where used even by military forces to keep well in wars from keeping colds away❤
I have a question about the reversal berkana? What it may or can mean in a third rune spread?
My surname is Birch. I have norse heritage. I imagined my ancestor was named Birch as he was a woodsman but now I'm starting to wonder if it was something else.
Pertaining to the luck in Loki's deception, it could be a reference to his deceiving Frigg to find a way to kill Baldr. I believe he took the form of a goddess to do this.

Thank you for this video, enjoyable and informative as always. You know, I keep seeing it put forth that birch trees cannot reproduce asexually, from suckers. But that is not completely true, as the river birch, betula negra, does so. Pretty sure most of the runologists are not also well versed in botany. Also, if there is one tree that is the most distinctive and easy to ID, it is the birch. That bark!
