While I don't agree with your take on Six ruining the game, I defiantly agree with you on the open world idea. That would completely ruin LN3 and I really hope they do not use it and keep the linear storytelling they used in the previous games.
@@JoksterFox In the case of Mario, his presence in his games doesn't ruin them because his character is an integral part of the franchise. Mario's gameplay mechanics, world design, and overall experience revolve around his adventures. He's a beloved and iconic character that fans expect to see in Mario games. However, when it comes to Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2 serves as a prequel, providing backstory and context to the events of the first game. Introducing Six as a playable character in the third game could disrupt the chronological flow and undermine the narrative cohesion established by the prequel. It might also create confusion or inconsistencies within the overarching storyline. While I changed my stance on whether an open world format would be suitable, it's been a year since I voiced that opinion, my opinions have changed over time. Ultimately, the success or failure of including Six in the game would depend on the execution and the creative decisions made by the development team, the video was purely speculative.
@@alexrant_ in other words saying Six or an open world road ruining it is fear mongering. You base all that based on previous titles when the team learns the mistakes
@@JoksterFox The change of studios introduces an element of uncertainty. While the new team may learn from the previous games' mistakes, they also face the challenge of understanding and capturing the essence of the franchise accurately. By expressing concerns or discussing potential risks, it doesn't necessarily mean we're engaging in fear mongering. It's a natural response from fans who have invested in the franchise and want to ensure its continued success. Constructive criticism and open dialogue can help foster an environment where creators and fans collaborate to create the best possible experience.
How? Six went through some mayor changes in the first game, gaining the power to drain monsters’ life force and such, but none of that is present in LN 2. There is even a cutscene at the end of the game (which I believe is unlocked if you get all glitch kids but I’m not sure) that shows Six exiting the TV, coming face to face with Shadow Six, as Shadow Six directs her attention to an advertisement for the Maw, and after that Six gets a hunger fit, which were frequent in the first game but we didn’t see in the second

Didn’t you say you liked the idea of a non linear structure,I’m so confused but to be fair you said you liked it a year ago
Saying Six could ruin the franchise is like saying Mario being in his games ruins them. Your stances don’t line up with what you say previously at all
Idc it's my ops
