I'm 26 I first heard this style of music when I was around 13 and let's say I appreciate this music because it helps me with my issues in life and enjoy life.
Still my favorite song of this band today. Well, that will change when their masterpiece Call of the Towers comes out. I heard it at their online concert, it's the kind of stuff I waited decades for Therion to do.
I just really love this Symphonic Metal these People are Badass I just Found them today, happy I did, I am 57 years Old and it is Amazing Right Up there with Nightwish and Epica and Within Temptation
Personally, this is a band of outstanding quality, in every way. The songs are epic and powerful, underlined with excellent videos that tell a story. I also love the way this band dresses, the girls and lads equally - it all fits. I read some comments like "they look funny" or the way they dress - nobody bats an eyelid when you look at bands like Finntroll, Ensiferum, Turisas and so on. It is part of the band, the music, the stories a band tells, an image. I love it, it draws you in and you become part of the entire experience that is (in this case) Imperial Age. Standing on stage, play your music and that's it - there are plenty out there and that's great, lot's of bands I love there too. However for me with bands like Finntroll, Ensiferum, Imperial Age, for example, you get an added dimension - it brings the music to life, it involves you beyond the audio experience, at least, that is why bands like this will always be my top favourites :)

Your words pretty much summarize everything I'd want to write here in response, but I'm too lazy to, because there are a lot of idiots, elitists and purists, and and self-pretentious probable posers here trying to diminish the dimension this band has reached in so little time, with their downvotes and depreciatory comments.. Meh. Imperial Age is art :D
They are coming to Portugal now for two concerts in a row, and in both of them I'll be standing in the front row right there singing out loud from the lungs alongside them! :D

I cannot count the number of times I have watched this video. I have every time the same feeling: How is it possible to put so much power in music? And the video enhances a lot the emotions with a very good AOR acting. Very great music and video.

Spectacular! Just incredible. I have not been this wowed since first coming across NightWish or Therion. Why have I never heard of this band before? This is powerful and glorious. The best thing about the self isolation is the time I now have to explore new (for me) bands and singers I have not seen/heard before. There are some amazing artists out there with talent and imagination. Who's music has depth and soul. Unlike those vastly over rated corporate sell outs like J.Lo; Lady Gaga; Rihanna and their ilk. Wish the American music industry would give these amazing talents the opportunity they deserve. So far I have not only discovered this wonderful band but also: Emilie Autumn; Death Stars; Nyxx; Black Briar and Night Club. Shit! I'm going to be spending a lot of money soon on collecting a whole lot of CD's.

I saw them on Instagram as an ad once and only continued listening to other songs mainly because I loved their uniform thingy and I loved the music ofc too. So awesome! This song gotta be my fav of them tho!

Russia has come out with quite a few surprises in the Metal world, Arkona among others and now Imperial Age. The songs here are of Epic caliber and are taking their rightful respected place among the big ones - well for me personally anyway. Needless to say I love bands from wherever they are, the important thing here is the music and Russia is starting to shine there with bands like these :)
Not sure, if it is the reason but the whole video looks a bit ridiculous. It is full of war pathos and militarism, they overuse the esthetics reaching a comic effect. In addition, many people judge Russia and their people for supporting militarism and imperialism.
That's right son. Imperialism, militarism ... and doomsday. They are thinking of destroy others cultures. They are demand of be destroyer of worlds of rest not to kind with theirs suppose of linearly be right. Doesn't metter. Doesn't not be right with self. They collapse with theirs idea of something not to destroy - humanitarianismus not to demand but to do this. Metal stay.
