To be honest, I wouldn't mind you making a series or an extra-long one-off, where you create a cult and have it rise in popularity, until you've got a Shadow Over Insmouth type situation going on.

You have the best Sims reviews, a lot of simmers especially those who go to EA events and get early access I feel like I can't trust. This does look like a decent pack but the Sims 4 has been boring me lately and i've returned to the Sims 3 so I think i'll wait for a sale or something before buying this.

LGR Recommended? Time to ignore all prior inhibitions and go purchase this expansion pack. I say that completely seriously because When LGR wholeheartedly recommends something, you know that shit's legit.

Yeah not really..it depends on the individual. Some people i know including myself really do not enjoy having a customisable "club" as the key feature in an EP

I love the child labor club. Speaking of random cults, this reminds me of sims 3 where i made a house hold of witches. They adopted a child who became basically voldemort, or however you spell that. Then he moved, got very charasmatic, and became a celebrity. This made it easy to invade peoples homes, because everybody is enamored with overpriced actors. Then he proceded to go into homes and become an arsinest by casting fire balls at random objects. This killed several sims and burned down several homes costing several $1000 in damages. Good times.

This pack was an awesome surprise. Like you, I was underwhelmed when they first announced it, but the clubs really are a huge new thing, and Windenburg is absolutely stunning. It truly does expand the game in completely new ways. The Sims 4 may have had a rough-ish start, but it is definitely shaping up to be the best. They were definitely on point with this expansion and the whole clubs idea.
And just think about clubs in the future. With whatever DLC is upcoming, we can make a club based on that. Maybe a real dog park where people play with their dogs, or a place for cats and their owners. Stuff like that. It's a great foundation for absolute fun.
Oh man, cat-owners club vs dog-owners club. I'm so down for that.
Next expansion: Get Your Shit Together, EA
I made a club where Sims woohoo, play chess and dress up as knights. I called them a Knight to Remember.
Am I the only one who thinks EA should make a proper music expansion pack? I mean be able to be an artist and make music by yourself or with a band with different kind of genre's. And it needs to be more intuitive. Be able to make singles, and EP, am album E.T.C. also the ability to be famous on the internet via RUclips? And tv celebrity of course. I just want it to be intuitive and not basic and boring.

God I have wanted to love The Sims 4. Truly. I loved the previous ones.
But this just looks like another 'how weird is this" offering... with MORE parties. I just wanna raise a family & progress my career. For me the best thing about the pack is the return of the fussball table (yay).
+Jimboola Not every pack is for everyone. Even if it's good if you're never going to use the things it comes with than there is no point. I never got Seasons because I no I won't use it even though it's supposed to be a really good pack; but I got Ambitions because I use that stuff all the time. In your case I would recommend waiting until they make the sims 4 version of Generations or something like that.

wow seriously? Seasons is the best expansion pack from EVERY sims game. I think the only expansion/stuff pack I never bought was the awful Katy Perry one...I gave up on Sims 4 after trying to play it 3 or 4 times and not liking it

There will be a Thrifts this month, but the level of "festive" to be contained within is debatable!

im watching these old reviews and its sad that we didnt get the “party animal” trait, instead we got “dancer” which affects nothing in the game besides liking to dance. that just shows how far EA has fallen
hsy gives party animal and its honestly meh-ish? the party tricks are cool, the cravings for party give sad moodlets, remembering past parties gives random mood, and theres a "WOOOOOO" that 99% of the time gives no reaction
dance machine is actually kinda useful! disco naps get your energy up faster than regular naps, you can dance anywhere to get your fun up, and you can get energized if you pop by a bar/lounge/nightclub and use the party time interaction. it's abysmal, sure. but it's a lot for ts4 and a lot more useful than party animal 🥴
Your creativity dwarfs my own. I know I'm the kind of person that couldn't have fun with this expansion, but hearing about your own exploits was whole-heartedly enjoyable.

This has been helpful for me when I get to grab a few packs, today I bought get together after watching a few of your videos this seem the best, I get my games on instant gaming this was only like 20 something can get one more 20 something or a bundle they have so im off to watch a few more of your reviews to determine my next move ..
I want to have a club when the Vampire expansion comes out. That way I can make a clan thats goal is to drink the blood of the living, And turn the entire town into a den of Vampires.
Ahh okay, Thanks for this review!! I am definitely interested in getting this now. Having extreme groups like PETA existing in the town sounds so dope! I had no idea how groups were created, but seeing that they have established dos and don'ts, and that some groups become very powerful is super interesting. I see now why this is an expansion pack.
If you advance in the DJ skill and play the style that is called 'chip tune' - it's funky versions of sims 2 music!

It's been a blast messing around with the clubs. I have one which is basically for sex work and another where the sims beat up each other, watch movies, and hook up. As you said, it's really a great way to get around some of the more persnickety game functions and explore how the Sims interact without those limitations.

I'm insanely excited for this. Only thing that I'm pissed about is that over the past month I've been slowly building a castle and now with this new expansion I have to put all the items in my household inventory and move to the new 64x64 lot and begin rebuilding hahah
You don't have to start over - upload your house in its current state to your library. Then download it on the larger lot. I understand if you want to start over with all the new cool build stuff :)

I know that I’m 4 years late 😂 But I’ve been trying to decide weather to buy get famous or get together. I had no idea which one to buy but after I watched this video my mind was definitely made up to choose get together!

Fgtrffghl Yes the gameplay aspect is exactly what I’m looking for! I feel like the sims 4 doesn’t have interesting social interactions. The reputation system in get famous made me hesitate but creating a group of mean people that terrorise the population seems more fun
@@doudoulapin468 i have both. unless you really want a celebrity choose get together. i had it for years and i still use clubs, very handy to make a group of sims visit your house quickly. its a lot of fun. it has the best world too and there are a lot of places to party or just visit. get famous only has the fame system which is not that fun for me at least and some celebrity interactions which feel very scripted. becoming friends with a celebrity is piss easy, my artist sim was friends with a 3 star famous person very quickly and they are just a normal sim, after being friends with them for a minute there are no celebrity specific interactions that i know of
One thing I haven't seen mentioned in reviews is the ways npc sims communicate with your sim now. If you make friends with one, if your friends with anyone they're in a club with, you get friendship points with the second npc as well- "Hey, you're friends with Soandso! Great, they're pretty cool! ++". Also, when your sim gets a promotion, they will send you a text congratulating you on the promotion. Not the biggest part of this expansion (it's great), but it's little things like that that I love about having sims interact.

The sims-company has no power over me if I'm going to buy a new game or not anymore, this dude has somehow taken that place and after a very long time I do actually want to try out sims again now. Am I alone in NOT being sad that toddlers are gone? I hated that life phase, such a huge pain in the ass. I will admit they were cute and at times, endearing, but I loathed teaching them to walk/talk/potty train and just found them in general annoying. I love the kid phase.
